Japan trip with ACSBRCO and PLMGS Handbells

Ok . i finally started blogging to share my experiences wif every1 out there!woo~ okay.enuf . Chapter 1 of the adventures of Ken Ho in 'the journey to japan!' haha

DAY 1 ........... Singapore - japan (flight)

And so it begins :) i was like meant to report at the airport at 10pm? but Great i was kinda late haha. if i was correct i was 1 of the last to reach there =O but nvm the flight was at 1 am rofl! my family and i reach there to see every1 check in -.- luckyily we was just in time to hear the briefing on what time to meet again phew!~~ blah blah (we were to meet at 11 pm ). so we (my family) decided to eat burger king! woo

okay den was farewell time. =( awww friends and family waves at ea other saying byeeee ----

We gave our passports and entered in ..wow i must say it was quite an wonderful experience going overseas alone haha. Inside the airport we were allowed to walked around be4 going to door F31 for our flight.Me ,timothy ,gabriel,chirstopher and glen walked around and took some pictures before going. Ogre itchy fingers couldnt resist the ugre to hit the button of my cam. resulting to this angry me >=X ---\/

Soon it waS time and we took off from Singapore to japan ~! wee...not much happen on the plane . just ThT some ppl insisted on PLAYING Cards in the airport @.@! -.- WTh ...okay ...although i boarded the plane thinking i could watch some movies i couldnt even watch 1 =X haha fell alsleep while watching 'the number 23rd' . so In the end i listen to my mp3 and slept all the way ~~~ haha.

DAY 2 ............. (The official day of the start of our tour) i think -.-

Still inside the plane, we were advice to wash up in the airplane. as we wouldnt be able to stop by any toilets wif toileties <> ok so we wasssh wasssh and the plane landed . we alighted off and took a lRt in the airport before reaching to the belt where all our luggage were. we helped ea other to take off the stuff from the belt and off we go to the aquarium!

Jus needed load the luggage and instruments on the coach and off we go....grrr took some photo and after tht most of us were jus sleeping in the coach haha. it was rude of us though as the tour guide was explaining to us some japan stuff. but we cant help it! i was still tired haha. sorrri !

VISIT to The AQUARIUM

We finally reached the aquarium . and for the first time i realise the japan weather was the BesT type of weather u can get . like 18-24 degrees? cant remember the actual but it was nice !! its like free cooling aircon.. wait better den aircon ! it was fresh and ..refreshing! haha.

We enter the aquarium and immediately started taking photos like we never seen fishes in our life LOL. actually it was mayb becos we were on a trip . i fell to the dark side and started took photos like mad too haha.Come to think abt it.. the nicest fish there was the big whale like looking thing and the dolphin fins as i nvr seen them real life be4 haha.

Its dissaspointing to noe tht some ogre aways doesnt smile in photo taking! Grrr lucky i forced him to..but tht was like late in the japan trip!=X

haha. we were given some time limit in the aquarium so we had to leave. The souvenir shop there was kinda cool though haha . there was like a big bunch of soft aquarium fishes toys! something we dont usually see haha all fish in Extra Fat form @.@ so we decided to take photo ! cheese~~

Then Finally it was time to go somewhere we have Yet to Go~ LunCH! omg if i remembered correctly we were all famished haha ... Luckily the resturant was a short walking distance away~! phew.

And There . we ate our first official japanese meal ..it was kinda like steam boat , (tempura ?)as we had to cook it ourself just tht we had cover it wif some cream like stuff and flour before cooking it in oil! The food was also unlimited!

Once we ate finish, we were forced to change into our school uniform as we were finally visiting tezukayama high school. we left the restuarant and headed there.

TEZUKAYAMA HIGH SCHOOL !

Their welcome was kinda werid haha. we entered and sitted in an empty hall wif seats first. before being led up to a classroom and start STONING omg!!.. ( i hit my head on the chair there =X ) .

After waiting for like what seem to be hours to me. we were finally led down to the hall again to be welcomed into the previously emptied hall but now wif students inside! yay . ( Mr eng gave some lame story tht the school were actually estimating how many student they shld send down to the hall to fill up the empty seats beside us. like.. wth...but okay hes the principal so lets jus believe it )

okay now the two principals our sch and their sch gave their welcome speech ...mr eng's one was especially long and boring haha. ssshh .They played a couple of songs and our co gave their san liu performance.

We were told that they were nervous so we cheered them when it was time! dont worry kens here! haha jkjk .

We were den splited up in groups after the short performance to take a look around the school. For some Reason LUKAs had to give the ' kiam pa ' face (with the jaw sticking out , is tht correct? haha.. ) WTH... but still they were kinda friendly, unlike singaporeans =/ haha.no hard feelings but its true.

by then it shld be around 4-5 pm so we left the school and head for DINNER ! rocks on.

LAMPADA!!!...

Dinner was buffet. in a resturant call lampada! dunno what was so funni wif this name -.- all my friends kept laughing ...fine mayb if we take out the 'da' ... so lame lol...okay the room was kinda small wif 4 tables? yes... 4 -5 lee jing ying told us to give way to the plmgs gals AND SO WE DID as real man haha but ... for some reason the gals decided to sit on the floor in like some 'spirtual formation' ready to cast some sort of magic like summoning??!! LOL ok. it was jus a circle...such good bonding within ALL of them..sthm we lack.. ! and so we 'reluctanly' took the tables ~

^^LampaDA! As we ate our food, our first day in japan start to end. we were finally going to our hotel. we took a few more picutures before boarding the coach.

FIRST Night HoteL!

Our hotel was kinda cozy . my friends and met in my room (bunking wif ogre / tim) and stayed awhile to eat cup noodles rofl! haha . and as usal Ogre provided the food -.- haha chris and glen soon when back to their room as we all had to sleep early for tml's major performance !uhhh! we were tired anyway haha ... And thats how day 1 in japan ended for me =)

DAY 3 ............. THE DAY For our PERFORMANCE~!

We were as usual asked to wake up early. due to the long trip we had to take to reach nara's concert hall -.- zzz . There we met up wif the other groups we were performing with mgs and acjc . We were den stuffed into the dressing/ prepariation room. haha tht place reminded me of a refudgey camp. so cramped up. grrr the sofas were taken up by the other section like erhu ... so we had to take the place Right at the back . awww.....

but still it was kinda comfortable as u can see to ur right -----> timothy , the ogre slouching down like one!( showing hes potbelly -.- ) This was after we unpack our instrument. phew .. unpacking was abit tiring haha after wraping millions of bubble wraps around our instrument back in sg. we suffered =X haha.

And so we had combine practices. after tht for the first time i saw a handbell choir play a solo song! ( as in without us) haha ... not bad lehh. esp the last part when the plmgs bowed after 1 of them at the far left shaked the bell . okAY ~~ time for concert noooooo....

It happen so fast~ we entered from the main entrance with every performers fully dress . sit down watch a short performance. followed by principal's speech. and WE had to leave. heh luckily plmgs handbell perform first. i always hated doing things first. i wonder why :0

next was our combine with plmgs playing 'Amazing grace 'followed by combine with mgs playing ' Chun jiang ', 'Masturi' and ' Winds cresenti' . haha amazingly we didnt screw up tht much as i expected~~ heh . Phew big time ~ yea clap clap clap (ty ty ty) . funni part was when irvan wave at the audience they all giggled and scream like mad haha.( this made a few people upset..cos when they wave no they didnt do the same...i wonder who heh..) :)

We were meant to visit the dear park at nara with the tezukayama high school students after the concert with the students but.. it rain ...awww so we headed straight for our next stop RYOKAN! =D

RYOKAN (wads tht ?!)

Ha.! this was one of the best place in the trip for me. A traditional home for people living in japan in the past. we had to follow their culture by wearing a yukata haha . 5 ppl in 1 room ! how fun can that get? we visited our rooms before dressing up in yukata for dinnnneeerrr~~

Munch munch munch haha.another japanese food. but this time the raw food was to be cooked in some secret sauce haha--->

quite sad though they gave us i think 6-8 pieces of beef + Lots of Veg haha. We were still kinda hungry after tht but ~ we jus ate fast to rush to the onsan! i think thts how it spelled haha.

ya ya inside the onsan was dam funni ... 15 over ppl in 1 small little bathe room rofl !!! The tour guide brief us on not to make so much noise inside ..but it was dam noisy hah! lucky no outsider was inside. yea!

First we had to strip totally naked before enter . DAM funni~~! every1 didnt dare strip haha . so in the end we counted to the count of 3 be4 we all strip @.@
Next we had to wash up wif soap and shampoo( jus like bathing ) at the small taps at the side , wif stools to sit on haha~ zzz There were onli 4 x 2 = 8 taps tmd! waited naked kinda long before i could dip the water .! grrr. some waitied longer haha =/
finally enter the hot bath woooo~ ok there were like 3 baths , and i manage to conclude tht there was 3 lvl of hotness . 2 was inside the room and 1 was on the openair( air outside was COLD ) the least hot baths were indoor and the hotest was outside~ lucky marcus gang(jarron , mattieu, hadi ..) took it first haha. save the trouble for us and enabled us to warm up!

yea and so we kept changing among the diff temp baths and tried the sona there. ~ woooo after coming out of the sona room .... The feeling was like Siok refreshing! ~~~ ahh ( one moment hot den cold ) rocks on~~ unfortuanately we were unable to bring cameras ( Due to the naked us / Good reason ) so we didnt take any photo =C nvm its all in my head +D

Feeling refreshed and hyper we took a walk around the ryokan together! yea together we stand ,divide we fall . we kinda like join room mates and like roam around haha. And so we started taking random photos at anything we saw haha ~ me , jon , tim james, daniel , chris , micheal

our small group took a few finally photos and when back to our rooms haha. fine. Im sure we all went back to their OWN rooms . ( we decided to meet in jonathans room bunking wif benedict tan jun ming!, ian yang , james and micheal ) not just sleeping yettttt haha ~

We had like some mini group party haha watch Tv ( japan random advertisments ) , play cards , drink...i was drinking ice lemon tea ar, and tao pok!!! haha we finally manage to taopok Mr benedict Tan Ming Jun! ( our conductor )there woot high five co!

We also kept taopoking gab and jon for some reason haha.(we love them so much awww)

yepp somemore lame and funni stuff we took wif the cam haha~~this pic was meant to look like gabriel ( tht guy there) <----- jus went to bed wif those 2 ppl (aka at the time women , remember tht fat leg there is not mine ! LOL haha.' ;) )~ so doesnt he look proud of himself @.@ haha

ok but now we were all kinda tired so we return to our rooms.... Well i think all they came to our room haha ( some didnt come ) yea ... and guess what we decide to all sleep in that room . so from 5 to 1 room became 8 to 1 room not bad hor ~ friendship bonding haha ~ and we took our last photo before going to sleep. PPL inside was( me,tim,chris,ying qiang,daniel )+(gabriel, jon,glen)

NOT SLEEPING JUST YET...again.. Grrr.

Yes ... all 8 bunked into 1 room. stupid ying qiang kept insisting on watching the dam tv. and guess what tim and chris watched with him WTH. beSt was tht they kept laughing at some SUPER LAME SHOW call Billy Boot Camp bbc. so i got up and took a peek...haha the show featured some overly buff negro teaching and excerising with other so call students....Yes,we all noe Timothy was the BEST ... with hes potbelly and hes quest of claiming the strongest -.- yep Jonathan the funniest!. he snored super loud when chris ,tim ,Gab and ying qiang was laughing so loud..and me tryin to sleep. And it WASNT FAKE.. but nvm we all went to sleep and snored oso =D i dunno abt ying qiang though... kept watching random shows. i jus slept. zzZZz and tht was the end of my 3rd DAy clap clap clap~~~!!

DAY 4 ..................

haha. What Happen To our 6am plan of going to the onsan AR? See la. sleep so late cannot wake up in time -.- to go according to plan Stupid BBC lol. haiz. Anyway we were so late tht were even late for breakfast. haha. -.- so pai sei we entered the dinning room and saw tht were were the last .. =/ anyway. we ate up and left the ryokan......I miss tht place so much

Yes..and when we got out waiting for the bus we realise tht there was a garden we missed out last night What the hell... zzzZZz so me and chris went inside to take a peek and met few of our other friends and Mr Benedict Tan Ming Jun! LoL ya la so we ask some passaby to take a photo of us. say cheese !

Story : Further inside was a lake . There Ken found one of hes good friend from hes class. He thank God as he thought he was lost in the Garden of the lost Ages.
However Unknown to them , a stealthy Christopher was observing them from afar. His eyes were filled with anger and hatred tht reflected his past. Suddenly Chris accidently stepped on a twig.Ken and Ying Qiang immediately went into divine battle formation ! Chris took a Photo . The End ....nice? LOL

Everything especially when you are having a fun time would immediatly come to an end...This was the same in this case. The bus had came so we left the ryokan ...so much memories was given birth there...i shall not abandon any...=D As the bus made a U turn in the tight dropoff point outside the ryokan, our tour guide told us the say bye. ANd we did. we scream BYEEE and WaveE . and the wave back at us.... and bowed Awwwww sniff sniff haha. k now the next time.. Tezukayama high school ...again .. Sian!

It was a long ride. due to the Short SLEEP we had LAST NIGHT we all slept on the bus...thnk God 'muacks' haha :)

And so the story continues lala.There we were asked to be spilted into 2 groups...i manage to get our good friends together ~! hi five. And so we were led around by the japanese tour guide and was brought in the room together with half of the plmgs gal where we were gonna paint!! lol jking ..to do japanese calligraphy*

Okay so its either i suck or the japanese calligraphy was screwed up... All the words we were given look like FACES ...omg?! 2 eyes and a mouth.. i decide to draw the word meng. as we all noe aka Dream ya. It look like a Ghost with a face and 2 hands . -.- towards the end of the class we took a photo. ! class in japan!

The Class ended and we were all allowed to keep how calligrapy pieces. Mine wasnt tht good but still i kept it for sourviner! Woots~ Our little mini group was den brought another room to do flower arrangement! LOL i have nvr in my life done such a thing -.- but nvm theres always a first Time..'Tsk 'goes the scissors and 'shiiiitee' goes the plant when inserted onto the nails . and it was done.!

Next stop was their music class. haha it was so much better den our school's 1 ..every1 had a volin and they played SO well... they looked kinda young too funni heh. me , jon gab, tim , glen and chris went to their back of their class. They played edelweiss for us ( i think..was it for us?) We gave them our tokens after the played the song and as usual , Scream like mad !! haha -.- ... oh ya i Gave my official school badge and wanted to asked for exchanged. but the gal i gave got to hyper so..msg didnt get across zzz -.-
So we left the music room and headed for our next destination.To make things worst after the lost of my $2 badge i realised i left my calligrapy pack inside the flower class..Sian! haha thanks to Jonathan ngeow ( clap clap clap ! )who accompanied me to collect the package! we arrived back to the group jus in time with the package! yea.. we make such good transporter! however ,to my shock & horror we came back to the stoning room ! =O haha but this time we had the japanese teachers to entertain us by being our photo pillar! dam i love his hair..^^
