I realised that i am crazily attracted to passionate people.
Here's a list of my all time top favourite idols. (I just found two more this wkend)
1. Amy Purdy
She lost both her limps to a rare disease when she was 18. But she didn't bow down to it. She continued SNOWBOARDING, initiated snowboarding Paralympics, the learnt to create her own prosthetic legs and compete in Dancing with Stars. She's unstoppable. The way she turned a tragedy to a whole new love of life, into something so positive is indeed inspirational.
2. Mandy Harvey
So i stumbled upon her last weekend while browsing Amy Purdy's instastory, she said that Mandy Harvey was her idol. And im like... My idol's idol?! must be something good. So I went checked her out and oh so inspirational! So Mandy Harvey is a girl who lost her hearing in her teens as well. She was in music school at that time. When she lost it, can you imagine her devastation?! and yet here she is, around 10 years from when she lost her hearing, to now performing and SINGING in front of an audience with a voice so perfect.
Ok, the next two idols have no physical disadvantage. But I just love the amount of passion that they put into what they do. I'm not sure about their character/personalities. But I just admire them for their fiery passion.
3. 华晨宇
Everytime he is up there on stage, he places his entire self into the music. And back tracking his performance since the start, he has really improved crazy much since his days in Super Boys competition. Speaking of which, his audition was INSANE. no lyrics, no words, just weird noises. But he has crazy amazing talent. He re-arranged the below 2 songs into something so epic within 2 days! Madness!
4. Anastasia Tarakanova
Just 13, her level of emotional maturity and passion is wayyyy beyond. Simply love her performance.

The weekend was really good.
I feel so liberated and relieved! I'm glad to have found myself fast and get my life back into control. I always thought I would feel empty and lonely. But to my surprise, I actually found the independence and freedom really refreshing.
It seems like I have let go of a huge burden that I've been carrying for a really long time. I'm so glad I stood out for myself and I'm happy to be able to settle things amicably.
ps. I can listen to my sad chinese songs again without feeling the pinch. yay!
today, i feel thankful for having very understanding friends and family who care for my truly.
true support is when one does not force your beliefs and intentions on others. true support is when you can understand, empathize, give gentle advice, respect and trust the person to make the best decision given their circumstances.
