now i've really been home most of the time. haha.
last week was abit busy... with jy's birthday at georges on saturday, which i only went for awhile coz i was busy buying present for our very own uncle sim (ling jian lah) haha.
guess what we bought? its a very unusual birthday present.
- foam mattress from ikea. (damn expensive too!)
- pillow
- bolster
- a set of bedsheet n pillow case from ikea.
the most sucky is theres a $40 delivery charge for the mattress to be delivered to lj~ wah lao eh. uncle sim repeatedly told us not to buy any presents or birthday cake coz as he said he wont know how to react when everyone is singing birthday song n all. hahaha! full of pride lor someone. lol.
but we dun bother lah.. every year when someone in our group birthday, we will buy present n celebrate for him/her without fail.. unless they not celebrating with us or something lah. lol.
anyway, the reason for buying those unusual stuff for lj is because, his pillow is SO FLAT that even when u try n fold into half, it is still flat lor! and bedsheet, because everytime i go up to his house, the bedsheet is always the same. hahaha. but since we r buying bedsheet, it doesnt make any sense if the mattress dun fit. lol..
ok enough of the presents.
uncle sim treated everyone (except aaron since he wei ji) to jumbo at indoor as dear is a member n got discount. very good food they served, much better than ecp's jumbo actually.
went alicia's baby boy, aden's full month party on sunday. cute baby but either too many ppl crowd around trying to carry him, or he's sleeping, so i din get any chance to carry.. oh well.. the next time i go her house i can carry all i want lah. hahaha
for the long weekend.. stayed at home most of the time.. only go out to my grandma's house to visit ahgong.. then dear mj at my place... and oh, went to watch semi pro too. quite a lame show. haha. but its still very funny lah.
something new.. i know how to cook pasta liao!!!! ok lah, i know its not that difficult lah, but im still happy as im someone who doesnt know how to cook!
levyne came over n teach me, with scan n png.. actually its supposed to be all of us cooking together.. but end up only me n levyne do the preparations n cooking, scan cook campbell soup n png.. ah well.. she eye power lah. LOL. i think she too hungry liao.. the first thing she said when she stepped into my house was, wah lao eh! im SOOOOOOOOOOOOO hungry!!! hahaah! so my mom gave her a cake to eat first as levyne aint here yet, so we cant start the cooking. lol.
here's the masterpiece.
i think we cook for too long, so its abit cui cui.. n probably too much olive oil as well.. looks abit too oily.. like what monk says, it looks like the spaghetti is sweating. haha!
we cooked 2 super big plates.. n it really taste good! all of us managed to have second servings, n the rest? of coz scan finished them lah! lol. i think he ate 3 plates lor. hahahaha!
next time, i wanna try lasagne!!

yeah im a happy girl coz i got a new n95 8gb, and finally, my 7 zai!!!!!!
cute leh!!!!!!!!!!!!
i was pondering which size to buy until dear said, buy both lor!
yeah!!!!! i was quite surprised. lol!
in the end, he took the smaller one back home. no wonder he wants to buy both lar? LOL
luckily i din buy online that time when dear agreed to buy for me though it was quite pricey. minitoons sell them so cheap! the bigger one is like only $10 and the smaller one is $6! they even got the 7 zai when it died lie flat with x_x. they got cushion too, but i heard from the salesperson that the cushions haven arrive yet.
i felt pretty loved lately coz dear and i have been spending alot of quality time together.
lately, we dun go out on saturdays or sundays. we stayed at home, chat, watch tv, watch soccer. he even helped to pack my drawers! and he said this coming week, we will be packing my wardrobe! haha
dear also bought me a dvd player coz he said i can watch dvd when he's using my pc (i can watch scv lar, but the programmes i watched not really his cup of tea) so he said its better to buy a dvd player then we both can watch together!
how sweet! *melts*
of all the set we chose, we chose a faulty one. -.-
we spent like almost 2 hours trying out the dvd player. 1 minute there is image and sound, another minute there is only sound, or its only black n white picture. bah!
so we went back to change it. it works now, but i have to plug out my scv coloured cable n insert the dvd cable coz my scv is using video channel to watch (the scv signal is too low in my room, thats why)
oh, we went sentosa with the usuals on sunday. i din get sunburnt this time! quite fun lar, i played soccer with the boys. hahahaha. it was quite sunny, then rain for abit, then sunny again. at least it didnt rain the whole day lah. luckily it started raining heavily after we bathed out and was about to leave. lol.
after that, we went t3 for dinner. why t3? coz we never go before mah~ its really big though. but i think it looks more like a shopping mall than a terminal.
meet up with levyne they all on friday at mr bean. finally i went out on a friday.. i've been staying at home on fridays for so long! haha
had a great time. saw how sadist levyne, gary n loony are. :\
and also many new ghost stories being told. bah.. scared the shit out of us. LOL.
we should la kopi more often! lol

alright, i admit im getting lazier to blog. hahaha. my life is not exactly interesting, and its more of a routine kind of lifestyle: sleep, work, eat, out.
i din really go out that much lately either, except during cny... hmm, even cny, i din go visiting as much as the other years..
oh well, at least i can stil hit 1k angbao $ (with the help of ahgong's ya sui qian)
luck is quite ok this year, i won abit from blackjack surprisingly.. i was never lucky in card games. lol. and, dad won quite alot when we invited some friends and relatives over, so, he gave me partial of his winnings and its like $80!! but he took $40 to buy cig and some other stuff lah.. lol. but still, i still win lah~
time to upload my old complains for the benefit of those who have not hear it yet. LOL.
1) M1
I called to ask for some handphone vouchers, since my contract has already ended (ended nearly for a year actually). guess what. the officer said the marketing dept would have sent vouchers to me if I am eligible.
Eligible?!
Next she said, it is quite impossible to give vouchers as my monthly average bill is only $70+. The most she can gave is just $10 rebate for 6 months and free caller id for 6 months.
wtf? so, I wrote a complain letter to M1:
I have been a customer of M1 for 8 years, though it was signed under different name. I am very disappointed in M1 services, promotions, marketing. They seem only to target at high end users, users whose bills are more expensive and neglected users of lower value.
My contract actually ended for nearly a year. M1 made no effort in sending any promotion letters, or vouchers at all, to ask if I want to carry on signing contract. Now that my handphone is spoiled, I called 1627 and M1 Shop to ask if it is possible to get handphone vouchers. To my disappointment, the customer service officer told me as my monthly average bill is only $70odd, I am not eligible for any extra promotions. The Marketing Dept would have sent me vouchers if I am in their category.
What kind of service is this? Lower value users are not users? It is still money nevertheless. I am shocked to find M1 discriminate and filter their customers. Competitors like StarHub, sent $200 voucher to me every year. Once my brother's mobile contract ended, they immediately send another handphone voucher. My brother monthly average bill is only $50odd!
The only reason that I have not change subscriber is due to the fact that I do not wish to change mobile number as it is pretty much a hassle. Given that M1's rewards program is extremely unattractive, I still stand by M1 as the coverage is extensive and price is still reasonable. Since M1 do not take me (and those lower value users) importantly, I don't see any point in continuing using M1 anymore.
Should I not receive any feedback by tomorrow, this very email will be sent to SPH.
i was damn bloody pissed.
2) Shop and Save
my mom wanted to buy mayo but she bought salad dressing instead. so she asked me to change it.first they told me i should have told the cashier that i wanted to do an exchange before i went in n take the things i wanted to exchange to.
fine, i understand. it is to prevent theft. anyway, they dun have the mayo that my mom wanted, so i exchange to some tissues n stuff. then the cashier told me exchange cannot be done. why? because its from different category.
meaning, since the salad dressing is from sauces n condiment, i have to exchange to something from the same category.
WTF?????????this is absolutely ridiculous! no logic at all!
the cashier asked if i still want to do the exchange. i said of coz not. the purpose for the exchange is because the stuff was bought wrongly, and u dun have the things i want, what else can i exchange to? this rule is ridiculous, i have never heard it before.
the cashier kept quiet. in the end, i still have to fork out $$ to buy the things my mom wanted to exchange to.

ok, M1 did called me back the next day after I sent the email. And, they gave me a $100 voucher. hahha.
so... i went parkway yesterday and got myself an N95!!!! well, finally! haha
but hey, im not a complain queen/aunty ok.. there are some things where u HAVE to complain lor. if i am really that a complain queen, i would have complained many many companies already! singapore's service is really that sucky ok!
