1. We took the boys to see Santa at South Towne Center. He was super cute with the boys. Kooy asked for a bike. Which works out really well, because it's already bought and is hiding in the in-laws storage shed. They also gave us two tokens for free kids meals at Texas Roadhouse. How fortuitous (that is a real word...I did spell check!) for us, because we were going to dinner there that night for Matt's B-day. Which leads me too...
2. Matt's birthday. Peyton gave him (what else but) Colts pens and a Colts tie. Kooy gave him X-Men Marvel Comics DVD Vol. 1. I gave him Harry Potter (the new one of course!). He said it was all awesome but really I know it was Kooy's gift that won cause he stared at that one the longest. Made him French Toast for Breakfast, went to see Santa, lunch with his mom and dad at Olive Garden, a two hour nap for the birthday boy, dinner at TR, then a dip in the in-laws Hot Tub. He said it was the best birthday he's had in a LONG time. Score! I usually strike out so this is a victory.
3. It really bugs me I have to ask for ketchup at the McD's (or any fast food place) drive-thru and it really really bugs me when they act all put out about it. Like who do I think I am anyway? Asking for ketchup with my FF's. I have a lot of nerve I guess.
4. As mentioned above, we went to see Santa. Peyton wears a lot of hand-me-downs. Obviously. Even the levi's are the same ones. (not planned...I knew the shirt was the same but the rest was accident)
5. I lost my keys. I think they went out with the trash. I had to call my manager to meet me at work to open up for me. Nevermind I called her 10 minutes before I had to be there. I've been using the spare key and put it on Matt's keychain. Matt had to work late yesterday, so I had to call her AGAIN to open for me. This time I gave her a 30 min window. I'm sure I'm in first place for Employee of the Month.
6. Peyton has diaper rash pretty bad. It's from all the apple juice he drinks when he steals Kooymans sippy away from him.
7. My boys are the best at pictures together.
8. Kooy-boy's Birthday. Got way too many presents. Had party at Bouncin Off the Walls. And likes to tell people that he's four now. He got twenty bucks from his Aunt Shelby and bought a big kid skateboard at WalMart. Dad took him while I was at work. Pretty sure if I had been there he would have bought something else. But he loves it...so what can I say.
