Hey everyone...Happy Chanukah
Put on your yarmulke
Here comes Chanukah
So much funukah
To celebrate Chanukah
Chanukah is the festival of lights
Instead of one day of presents, we have eight crazy nights
When you feel like the only kid in town without a Christmas tree
Here's a list of people who are Jewish just like you and me
David Lee Roth lights the menorah
So do James Caan, Kirk Douglas, and the late Dinah Shore-ah
Guess who eats together at the Carnegie Deli
Bowser from Sha Na Na and Arthur Fonzerelli
Paul Newman's half Jewish, Goldie Hawn's half too
Put them together, what a fine lookin' Jew
You don't need "Deck The Halls" or "Jingle Bell Rock"
'Cause you can spin a dreidel with Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock- both Jewish
Put on your yarmulke
It's time for Chanukah
The owner of the Seattle Supersonicahs
Celebrates Chanukah
O.J. Simpson, not a Jew
But guess who is? Hall of famer Rod Carew- he converted
We got Ann Landers and her sister Dear Abby
Harrison Ford's a quarter Jewish- not too shabby
Some people think that Ebenezer Scrooge is
Well he's not, but guess who is
All three Stooges
So many Jews are in showbiz
Tom Cruise isn't, but I heard his agent is
Tell your friend Veronica
It's time to celebrate Chanukah
I hope I get a harmonicah
Oh this lovely, lovely Chanukah
So drink your gin and tonicah
And smoke your marijuanikah
If you really, really wannakah
Have a happy, happy, happy, happy Chanukah
Happy Chanukah
My life is boring but writing about it entertains me and those of you who are actually visiting.

I finally brought in the box that had all my posessions from my totaled car. It's missing all the cds that were actually in the cd changer :-(. It's been a pretty dull break since I haven't been able to go anywhere without a car. In the box were pictures of the car:

Kinda scary. And today was the first day I drove since the accident. Good thing I looked at the pics after I was done driving.

So I just found out I'm participating in some sort of Christian prosteletizing(sp) event. Yes me... So apparently this Rose Bowl Float is a dedication to Jesus and a bunch of hardcore Christian's trying to spread the word of their way of life and beliefs. Hmmm...always had issues with those kind of people...those who think they are better than everyone else and try to instill their values on others. I won't be mean...I'll just sit there thinking to myself no, Jesus is not my savior.

This is what the float is modeled after
See the Float (without the roses)

I am so done :-D. Now it's time to start my Lord of the Rings marathon (yes I'm a big dork). My great aspirations for break are to stay in bed as late as possible, wear my pj's all day, and watch movies :-p. Good thing I'm going to California next week or else I think boredom might set in. Can't wait to escape the cold weather and see the sun for once.

Yay...2 classes are done and as of 4pm the worst of all will be over (504 which has invaded my life and my brain...)
My User Interface Design group spent many an hour and many a meeting workin hard or just eating candy all term. But we did have a strict code for uniforms whereby those wearing their Umich sweatshirts had all the power at meetings :-p. At the last day of class we took a pic...aren't we cute

yay for the last day of a deathly 3 hour lecture...Our prof didn't even show up...but seeing as we named my stuffed gorilla after him I have a permanent reminder of the prof. Kinda scary that I sleep with Tom Brinck (our prof) every night. okay that's a really gross and scary concept that I won't elaborate further so as not to cause nightmares for yall.
Oh and in case ya wanna see our beautiful interfaces:
Spidermail, Spidermail lalalalala Spidermail (yes we even made a song)
SI nerdiness never ceases to amaze me. Oh and if your are not familiar with all my SI crap...too bad cuz the only people who comment on this darn thing are SI people so they are the only readers I know of. If you want understandable ramblings, let me know by givin' me some love (yes in the form of comments of course :-p)

So I've spent the day not doing work, watching football, and attempting to check my e-mail every 5 seconds... No I'm really not crazy, but I just really want to check my e-mail and the server is down :-(. It's really frustrating that my freakin' school has the most unreliable e-mail system ever...
Friday night was the best Hockey game of the season...we won in the last min. and there were some silly cheers like: "if you can't get into college go to state"
I smell roses. Yup it's official we be goin' to the Rose Bowl to face USC. GO BLUE!
And I'm decorating a float for the Rose Parade!!! how exciting!!!

School, drugs, lack of sleep, and a crappy week have all contributed to me going completely crazy. In a delirious state I decided to write an e-mail to my User Interface group to decide when to meet and wrote a poem about my love for SI.
Roses are red,
Violets are blue
504 sucks
and so does 682.
Thus, summing up my mood at the moment....haven't even had time to think about my other classes...
Anyone want to tell me what I was thinking when I chose to go to grad school? I must've been delirious then too

Ever wish that time travel were possible?
Yeah, seeing as today was by far the worst day ever...I wish I could wake up again and start fresh. Then I could potentially be in a good mood right now and could've had something go right...
and to top matters off...I spent dinner listening to Christmas music blasting over the loud speakers! Did I mention that I despise Christmas music, especially when it's already been so overplayed that I'm sick of it on December 1st. It's gonna be a loooooong month!
At least the term ends next Friday and then come Christmas I get to head out to Palm Springs for some R&R with the fam =) and then Rose Bowl action.

So the patriots won today...wahoo :-D. "lucky Bill" as Scott says, but they were indeed lucky. Other than that it's good to be back in Ann Arbor despite the fact that the next few weeks will be crunch time with school work.
Well, my 'rents and I went to pick out their kittens last week. They were sooo cute!!! The middle one is the girl we're getting and we're also getting a lil' boy too.

So tonight I went to the John Mayer concert. It was a pleasant break from doing school work all break! Although I seriously think my work is coming to haunt me. I've spent all week trying to write a paper about my Dad's lunch box collection. And during the concert one of the songs includes lyrics related to that:
whatever happened to my lunchbox
when came the day when it got
thrown away
don't you think I should have had some say in that decision
Even when I'm out supposed to be having fun...school comes out to haunt me. Hahaha
Then I get a letter in the mail from MIT asking for me to donate money to the school. Like I have money to donate to them after spending 30 thousand plus a year for four years. Ummm yeah, what the crap? That letter is in the trash. Maybe someday when I'm rich and famous I'll donate money, but for now haven't they earned enough from me?

So I just took a quiz Ursula made...and apparently I'm her sister. Hahahaha. Oh the things my friends do to waste time and procrastinate from doing school work. I have vowed to be totally and utterly productive this break so I'm sure that I will do totally useless stuff on my computer too :-p
I'm home now doing laundry...the fun never ends!

Sorry y'all for the extreme delay between posts. I've been busy and lazy. But I'm back on the blog bandwagon so beware :-p. Anyways, break this week!!! I'm very happy about it even though I will be doing schoolwork the majority of the time.
This Friday night was by far the craziest night ever. We had to call the cops on this drunken girl who woke us up wearing only a towel. Insanity. It even made the Ann Arbor newspaper. Read the news article:
Woman wanders into stranger's bedroom
A 21-year-old Ann Arbor woman thought she had arrived home from a bar when she entered a stranger's home, took a shower and then passed out in a spare bedroom, city police reported.
The 24-year-old resident of the home in the 800 block of Tappan Street told police he was in bed with his girlfriend at 6:30 a.m. Saturday when the woman entered his bedroom wearing only a towel. When he asked her what she was doing, she claimed she was meeting someone, then walked into his spare room and passed out in bed, police said.
When officers arrived, they had to shake the woman to wake her. Police said she began crying and said she thought she had walked home after drinking at the bar. She said she didn't know why she took a shower.
The woman was given an alcohol breath test and registered 0.18, more than twice the legal limit for drunken driving, police said. She was given a ride home by officers.

A few details are skewed but yeah it was insane. So needless to say I was extremely tired when I woke up for real on Saturday morning for the big game. But we won!!!!!!
The game was awesome and the weather was beautiful! Warm and sunny day in Michigan in late November (no I'm not kidding). But the game was great. We were all so into the game and there were so many people there. Yay for being a part of the biggest game in college history :-D. Plus we get to go to the Rose Bowl in Cali and are Big Ten Champs. It's so wierd going to a real school.

So my complex websites homework was frustrating this week...thanks to me waiting till the last minute to attempt the most difficult portion. I actually had to get my bum out of bed early this mornng to go to lab. But then I just suckered some guy into helping me with it :-p. Although I ended up having extra time so I got to my other work...designing icons...yay for supreme nerdiness. Plus since I had to get up early I couldn't get my cooking started for dinner. Oh wells, mmmmm Pizza House!!! Too bad Dave has to go see the Matrix on Thursday so we can't go there as usual...we may actually have to start doing work on our project before 10pm. we're such slackers but at least for this class i've started my final project. Sitting in class today it dawned on me that the end of the term is a little over a month away. Crunch time is rapidly approaching...

So it's been a crazy few days!!! Let's start from the beginning :-p. Friday was my B-day so I had to live it up. My day started with lunch with my brother. The place we went to had free birthday dessert so I had the tastiest chocolate cake. It was fabulous. Then I went to Adina's to make my costume (we had to paint the painter's suit so it looked authentic). Unfortunately, the suit was too big and we couldn't fix it appropriately. So then came 4:30pm with no costume or any ideas...mad dash to Halloween USA to see insane amounts of people and crappy ideas. Finally, we decided upon the punk rocker idea and had to get the stuff. It ended out turning out good and I forced all my friends to go to dinner dressed up! Had another yummy cake =).
Then we went out to some Nightmare on Elm Street parties. Cops had a hayday giving out citations, but the parties were cool and people had some great cosutmes. Although too many boys dressed as girls or fairies...yes definitely scary! but I had a great time! Definitely a great Birthday. My friends rock! Especially the ones who called or sent e-cards from Boston :-p.
Anyways, I had to get up way to early on Saturday to go the the MSU vs Michigan game in East Lansing (2 hour drive). Never been to Spartan stadium before it was exciting although it was overwhelming to be in a sea of people not routing for my team. But we sat in the umich alumni section so we weren't totally in hostile territory. Although the guy in front of us was a state fan and tried to pick some fights with my brother. But some old dude stood up for my bro. Damn drunkards. Anyways, the game was soooo tense...but we pulled it off and won =). I was soooo happy!!! Although we didn't want to be attacked by spartan fans so we had to get out of there as fast as possible.
Unfortunately, when we finally found the place we parked...the car wasn't there. It was towed!!! What a mess. Of course the towing company was 3 miles away so we had to figure out how to get there. Good thing Dave wasn't freaking out like me. But then we met some guys who offered to give us a ride. Such good samaritans! Especially since with traffic it took forever to get there. Of course the place didn't even have our car there. It was in some other lot. So after paying an arm and a leg...we had to wait forever for someone to actually take us to the lot with our car. This whole time people who had their cars towed were coming in and bitching at the people who worked there. This was basically a gas station with bitchy state fans working there full of cranky umich fans who didn't have their cars. Eventually one of the lady's sons showed up and took us to the lot, Dave and I crammed into this car with this kid and his buddies and he drove us there. Kinda strange but we finally got our car. Of course it had a ticket on it for parking violation. But at least we got home eventually. Since we won the game the whole towing incident wasn't so bad. So all in all it was a fabulous b-day and a fabulous weekend!!!

So It's now officially my Birthday!!! Not that exciting though since last year was 21. So obviously I had to go out at midnight. Now being the nerd that I am, I'm home doing nothing and just chillin. I guess since my b-day is a weekend, I'll have plenty of time to go out. Tonight seeing as it's devil's night Dave wanted to spend our group meeting egging houses with his spoiled eggs. But seeing as we're good kids that never happened.
22 is kinda meaningless. Just signifies that I've been legally able to drink for a year. No more real milestones until I get senior citizen benefits and social security (if it's still offered by then). Yeah i know...lots to look forward to. Well in between there will be fun stuff hopefully =).
Gonna skip class for my Birthday...yeah gonna be a rebel. Well, it's a seminar and it's boring as is...just don't think I can sit through it. I'm going to get some stuff prepared for my costume. Nothing exciting, but it'll be fun. I'm going to be a painter. and go to some nightmare on elm street parties i do believe. spooky! Hopefully I will carve a pumpkin before the day is over.

Wednesdays are always long days, but once they are over I know weekend will be here soon =). 3 hours of one class is just way way way too long!!! Especially when the guy just loves to hear himself speak and forgets to give us a break. Thank goodness Dave brought candy. Yes, M&Ms were my dinner tonight. mmmmm! Tomorrow our group is going to the deli wahoo! Maybe we'll actually get some work done again this week and be awake seeing as last week we were all sprawled out on the floor falling asleep.
Tomorrow I have lab again...I'll miss having all day Thursday to catch up on chores and such. Oh wells, nothing I can do about that. At least my b-day is Friday. Nightmare on Elm Street parties should be fun. Gotta make my costume at some point though.

Hello. This is my new Blog. I've decided to change or at least try something new. We'll see if I like it!
Anyways, Today was sooo cold and dreary here in Ann Arbor, but surprisingly I had a good day. My bro is coming over for din din this evening as usual on Tuesdays although we took a short hiatus because of midterms. Tonight I do have insane amounts of work for both my job and class. Plus my fave TV show premiers tonight (24)!!! We'll see how productive I actually am.
So for those of my friends from MIT who I've been terribly bad about keeping in touch with (don't take any offense, I'm really bad about e-mailing and calling). I still care :-p and miss you lots!
