Found what was lost...YAY!!

Hooray!! I found my lost handphone!! The story of the missing handphone began due to the scatterbrain that its owner had. Left the poor handphone behind in one of the rooms in church after a meeting with the pastors. As the place are used by people who are not from church during the week as well.. i thought God had decided to use it to bless someone else who needs the handphone more than me after couple of attempts to locate it. THe best part was... i only realised i lost it one week later!

BUT!!!! To my greatest surprise!! Someone called to say that he found my handphone yesterday!! 3 weeks later!! woohoo!! What can be a greater blessing than to find something back thinking that it was lost for good. I must admit that i was feeling abit upset with myself when i lost the phone, cos its only a year old...then i decided to not think about it anymore, considering it to be gone for good.

Thus, the joy of finding it back was double for me! Its really a blessing, for i know its not always easy to find back what was lost,but by the grace of God and i guess when we learn to let go of it...we either give thanks to God for finding it back or we will be able to say that it is okie when we learn to let go (emotions, rights, things etc.) cos He is our Provider.

YAY!!!!!!! hahaha!!

2nd Pocket of Joy

Heard the following quote from a cute xiaomei yesterday night who has been faithfully praying about her future *something something*.. hahhaha... i find this quote very interesting and kawaii. Its so 形象...something from the telly apparently.

哈哈！我和娃哈哈公主笑了一个晚上。但是，仔细地思考这句话也不无道理。我们一直在幻想幸福长脚的样子是怎样的？公主想：它是长跑健将还是短跑健将呢？穿球鞋吗？还是其实它有一双肉眼看不见的翅膀？

Life lessons in a weekend

It has been an eventful weekend...really... im here, there, everywhere.
But somehow, God is still faithful to the prayer i made long long time ago. Teach me lessons i need to know, n i will learn it like a good student, just dont put me through it. (translated as: God, i will learn the lessons you want me to learn, don't let me learn through the hard way.)

Life lessons i took back this eventful yet sad weekend:

1. A community of good friends/ family of God is really important. They are there when you need an extra pair of hands and legs to accomplish tasks, to be the warm heart and conforting hand to pass you the tissue when you need one.

2. A driving license is really a necessity. It comes in handy when no help is available.

3. No one can say how he or she has led her life, how good he or she is, till the Lord calls them home. *the impact of an old chinese saying i learnt was felt deeply in my heart when i witness it with my very own eyes.

4. I really love the people whom i call friends and family. Its so hard for me to say goodbye immediately when the need arises, by His grace, im given more time to be prepared.

5. I can run, but can never hide from who He wants me to be... for i am captured long long time ago by His wondrous love.

Hais...its an awakening weekend too. An awakening that im on a steep learning curve, going to places and doing things i have never done before. An awakening that He is so so so so so in control, that im so so so so so right smack in the centre of His will.
Looking forward to a week littered with pockets of joy to lighten my spirit again... waiting..waiting..waiting..

The lyrics of the above song moved me last week when i heard it in the 881 soundtrack. When i listen to it again today, it became so real to me. The last one month has been a month of hospital visits and funeral wake and endless news of friends, relatives sick and stuff as such.

This morning, received news of the passing away of a member's mum. Though we had been praying for her recovery, the Lord in all His sovereignty has decided to call auntie home to be with Him. It came as a shock to her family and me. She was okie one moment, and over 3 days, she is no longer with us.

There's only one thing the Lord said to me, learn to live your life with no regrets, no looking back, love one another while you still can and most important of all.... live your life to the fullest and yet knowing that you can let go of it when He calls.

Life is unpredictable, but we can make choices in life daily so that we can let go when the time comes. Speaking to myself 10x louder on this... for i know He is preparing His crybaby (me) too for the days ahead.

Its September!

Term 4 has started and one week has gone by. Time really picked up speed in flying when term 4 commence. Its september and half of it is coming to an end, gonna be a busy september...with 2 stayover camps in sight and countless things to think, plan and settle.

But the GOOD thing is... November is near in sight! Manado diving is coming near...so so so looking forward to hear the wonderful sound of *BISH* when i enter the deep blue sea. Now one other thing is to buy my own mask n snorkel... after looking at the masks n snorkels in the dive shop yesterday night, im more determined to get my own!!!(hahaha!! no more 'sharing')

Black rimmed mask and silver snorkel? Or Black black mask n a black red snorkel? Hmmm.. spoilt for choices. *ngiak ngiak* counting down to 28th Nov....2.5mths.

Happy lian though seriously lack of sleep this week... cant wait for tmr to come -_-

A King as awesome as such... how can i not trust my future in His hands, knowing that He knew me even before i was formed, everything that has happened were in His hands. Though i know what Man are capable of, i have decided to trust in Him that all that He said will come to pass as long as i remember to set my eyes on what is eternal and not on what is passing. Not to covet what human desires but to run after that which the Divine desires. I have decided to lay all once again - all fears, all possiblilities, all dreams, all of me at His feet. For He has been faithful and true to His words throughout my journey with Him, who can i trust but He who has won my heart?

Decided too cos He has come through for me with every questions i have, every bargains i can possibly think of, every fear i have had... to the point i know, He is near. He is here. I am special in His sight ^_^ thats enough for me to know.
