If there're Seasons

Jus came back from a local production, i must say its good. It has the potential to go up to international stage...the songs i grew up with were carried by well by the leads, they acted well too.

Going to shower now... more moved to write in chinese.. will do that tomorrow when i have time. Now its time to rest... been a long long day.. but totally worth the time!!

Yeah! firstly, im well!!! no more bouts of cough and congested nose is gone! Hooray!
N so... decided to go chill out at this bar with my great pal on friday night. Have heard about some of the local bands that plays at this bar for some time, was looking quite forward to hear it for myself.

Hit the peak hour of the night as my school function overrun... had to queue for awhile before we got our seats. I hate Q-ing!! n we were still saying we are the idiots who will queue jus to go in for a drink n some nice music at 10pm at night! But what a treat we were in for the night!!

We got a table in a corner, next to the stage, with a big fan blowing at us to relief us of the heat the outdoor bar has to offer under the bright moonlit night.That was first surprise. 2nd surprise was the local band that performed yest night!! They were standing in for the anchor band of the night, so instead of playing at timbre 2 (at arts house) that evening, they (Good Fellas) came to play at timbre (opp substn)!! N they were good!!

Apart from the 1st few songs of the opening set, their whole repertoire for the evening was solely based on songs on request!! How cool is that! What's more, their e-guits n bass are wireless!!! So the musicians were walking around the shop during their gigs, dancing on table tops n stuff... they had great fun, we did too!!! i can say they are the best i heard so far in bars...we stayed thru 3 whole sets!! that's how good they were.

Apart from some boliao audience who craves for some attention from the floor... the rest of the night was Solid grooving to the music!
Im looking forward to the next chillout session... n oh! they have an official fan named pratapong yest night... hahahaha! (niki! when r we going again?)

Sick... T_T

Hai.. been sick since friday. Caught a cold.. sniff sniff..
Really dun like to be sick, especially after getting used to a keep fit regiment.

Now i cant run, i cant eat my fave citrus fruits, no icy cold desserts.... everything taste bland, smell bland to me. No appettite, No energy, No motivation to play...

T_T flu flu, cough cough go away! so tat ah lian can go play!

things to look forward to in the last quarter of 2007

3/4 of the year has gone by... its been an exciting 2007 so far. Im very very sure its gonna be more exciting in the last quarter of the race.

Secret

went to watch movie today... went with high expectations.

The beginning was not too bad though it was abit crappily funny watching jay chou pulling all the stunts to win the heart of the female lead. I got to agree that the twist was there in the story, however, as the old saying goes, all well ends well... the movie with the well woven twist in the story line did not end very well, or rather not very to my taste as an audience.

It was like doing bungy jumping as the show approaches its ending for me!!! A lousy ending kills all good reviews or impression i have for the show built up over the one hour or more. There's nothing worse than a lousy ending!

Sorry to my Jay Chou fans frens out there, kill me, strangle me, ostracise me if you wish to.. i still must say... the ending is super duper crappy!!! Never mind the sweet, mushy lines and stunts Jay put on, i can only say im impressed by the multi talents he has been given and he has used them well, other than that...hahaha.

Pictures of sea creatures

Just a note, these are not pictures i took but taken from the web as i do not have the skills to bring a camera down with me yet. But these are the sea creatures i saw while diving or the nearest i can find as there are too many of them even for just one species.

Keep spotting them during my dives... identify them by the fins... see them, swim away from them.

nudibranches, tons of them.. in all sorts of colours everywhere.

My FIRST shark!!

Little yellow box fish which i stumbled upon during one of the dives. Its so cute compared to the huge one i saw... hahah.. nearly swam into the huge one too cos of current.

Spotted it swimming near 5 to 7m while i was down under. We just descended down which actually was a good thing as this fish loooks dangerous if we get in its way.

Common sight in the sea. Small ones,big ones, huge ones.

Jellyfishes!! Saw them on my very last dive! hahah!! Fruitful!

3 of this under the boulder!!!! Looking at it face to face was no fun at all.. was so worried that it opens its mouth and eat me up by mistake.

DOLPHINS!!! ask and you shall see... ^_^

Sea Creatures!

I saw alot alot of sea creatures, those seen before, not seen before.
Heeee... first, things i see for the very first time on this trip. Let's see, there was a sting ray on the barren seabed which lay dormant for sometime until the dive master swam near it and it swam away, a beautiful sight as it swam. There was 3 lionfishes on the coral in the open,and i spotted them!! Hooray!! they were beautiful too, with the reflection of light on the seabed.
After the lionfish, i spotted a cuttlefish hiding itself next to the coral and it changed colour when the divemaster poked it with his pointer, from brown to white in mere seconds! awesome isnt it? I saw my first shark! a 1m long reef white tip. there were 2 of them, but i only get to see one, it swam out to greet us! hahaha!! they are residents of the boulder at the island, always there for the divers to say hi to them.
I saw jellyfishes too!!! small ones but there was an unfriendly one, it stayed put in the middle of the waters with its tentacles widespread,ready to sting any unaware divers! Its so hard to see its tentacles in the waters as they are transparent... but my divemaster's eyes were sharp enough to spot them.
Saw a long crocodile needlefish too...rare it seems. there were 3 huge bumpheads in the sea too!! They were mega HUGE!!! As i spotted the 3 bumpheads, a current swept me towards the boulder that they were at, n i saw one of the bumpheads face to face, it was scary cos its huge and ugly!!!hahahah!!! Dolphins!School of dolphins! they swam towards the ships when we were on our way back and one of them swam next to the boat! Saw it clearly... its huge and swims real fast... SOoooooo nice! best part was they appeared 3 times!
Then there were countless triggerfishes(scary! cos they bite!),moorish idols, angelfishes,batfishes,puffer fishes,boxfishes,groupers, moray eels,nudibranches,slugs and a huge flatworm crawling across the sandbed while i was waiting there with my buddy after we completed our skill drill. Its huge too!

Dive Trip 3 -Advanced course!

Yippee!! Went for 13 dives over the long long weekend. I really did not want to come back. There's nothing on the ulu island except the sun, sea and beach BUT it's not boring at all. Every morning,i will be sipping coffee by the sea on the deck chair waiting for the sunrise, enjoying the cooling seabreeze and soothing sound of the waves.

It was a good trip. Learnt more things such as back roll into the sea,handling a torch,drifting along with the currents, saw things that i never saw the last 2 trips and i went out for my first night dive! It was pretty unnerving initially as the boat brought us out to the sea at night... it was pitch black! felt my heart beating faster and faster as we approached nearer to the island.

But all was alright after we descended down to the bottom... it was really really dark! and my light was dimmed... cant see anything without my buddy next to me. The only fun part of my first night dive was to see the neon greenlight of the planktons in the sea when all our lights were off. It was a pretty sight... now i know what whales eat ^_^ heee.. its like seeing little fireflies in the sea.

Still, God is to be praised greatly! heee.... though i never get to see the octopus, but i was happy to know that there was a baby octopus around. It was greatly compensated by other creatures i saw in the sea... my dear turtle friend came out to say hi again ^_^ but guess there were too many of us and it was so shy, it swam away from us.

This is also a trip thats filled with triggerfish and moray eels with its mouth wide opened! Looking forward to my next bloop bloop!! im realy hooked on it... swimming and discovering all in one! woohoo!!! the only price to pay.... being 'cooked' by the sun(",)

my longtime idol!!! was my teacher for 3 hours during one of the workshops i attended last month. Was so excited!! hahah! and i got his autograph.... lol *_* apart from Shin Goon, he is the second artiste i really applause for.
