Play Date with Adyson

Today we took Adyson with us to the Kamas Pool.  We had so much fun!!

 So love this pool.  Ady was not sure about it but warmed up quickly.  She even went down the big slide with Kate. 

 Gotta love friends.  These girls will grow up together.  Ady is moving with her family into our neighborhood!!  Yay!!

Oktoberfest Competition

Today, Kate was in a big competition at Cottonwood Heights. Ready to go on, just waiting for practice ice to end.

 Basic 1 is skating first and my mom is already crying.  LOL!! She was so worried for Kate.

 Final Standings.  She got a third place medal.  Kate was thrilled.  The competition was tough.  I ask her, "Did you have fun?" If the answer is yes, that is all that matters.  Having fun and doing your best.  It does not matter if you are first or 21st.  Yay Kate!!

Figure Skating Club Photos

 Figure Skating Club Photos.  I almost missed these.  We had been at the rink since 1:30 and then had lessons.  We left and went to the store and then home.  Kate had removed her dress and was riding her bike in her shirt and black pants.  She had her helmet on and all.  Nay and I were watching her ride when I just happened to check my email.... That's when I asked mom what day it was.  The 19th.  We had 30 minutes to be at the rink. We went as is and grabbed Kate's skating jacket as we ran out.  Made it in plenty of time thanks to Utah standard time (30 minutes late).  Love the pics. 

But By the Touch of The Master's Hand

As I drove home on this beautiful Sunday evening, I was amazed by the beauty that I beheld.  All around I got to see the Lord's hand at work.  It was such a beautiful drive through the mountains seeing all the beautiful color.  We had some rain this last week and it made the colors more vibrant.  I also looked up to a gorgeous sky.  How lucky I am to be alive and well and able to treasure moments like these.  I pulled my car over and I was ever so grateful I had my camera.  Thank you Heavenly Father for all that you have given me and my family!!  May I always see the good in the world!
