Autumn Trees

 

We had a lovely walk around Bolam Lake today in Northumberland, UK 

This tree in the water had some interesting ridges on its bark and there was a mass of autumn leaves next to it., gorgeous colours of Autumn.

Rose

 I started with a rose created on my tablet

I copied and pasted several times to make a repeating pattern using Photoshop on my computer.

I altered the rose using Filter/Stylize/Glowing Edges and got this

I made this into a repeating pattern too

This is a drawing my son done when he was a small boy. [t was actually blue ink but I darkened it to show up more]

Slow Loris

The slow loris is on the endangered species list. This is due to a combination of habitat loss and from hunting. Some people like to keep them as pets for which they are not suitable.

Altered Book Pages

I painted these pages a while ago. I had some left over paint from a project so I thought I would decorate some pages from a book. The doodles are also from a while ago, I added them to the pages digitally. You cannot see them very well on some pages as they are black doodles. There are insects on the first page and weird creatures on the second.

Can you tell what I have used here? It's rice, out of date and painted just to see how it would work.
