Boo.... Did I scare you???

Hey, Hey everybody it's me Scrappin Madge!! Today I am super excited to share with you a fun Halloween Tag that I created using the amazing Linnie Blooms Canvas Shapes and Canvas Fence!! I absolutely love how it turned out!!! I used a Prima Tag (which is great to use spritz, Gellatos and watercolor on) I allowed it to dry. Then I used the Heidi Swapp color shine and spritzed the Owl and the Fence Black.  I then set them to the side and Used yellow Gellato on the Canvas Circle to make a moon.  I then took a canvas heart and used the Heidi Swapp Color Shine purple and mixed it with some yummy purple gellatos.  After everything was dry I started to piece my tag together.

Here are a couple other pictures of this tag.  Be sure to check out my blog for more info on how I created this super fun tag, along with all of the items used.

And a close up of the moon and the stars...

Nature~Share The Beauty

Hi Friends! Abby here with ScrappinAbby and today I have a quick tag project to share with all of you using one of the fabulous feather canvas pieces from Linnie Blooms.
I wanted to add some texture to the canvas feather so I grabbed some Matte Medium and an old dress pattern...
I put a thin coat of the Matte Medium over the canvas feather...

To give it some added texture I scrunched the dress pattern paper when I placed it on top of the feather...
I used my craft knife to cut the paper away from the feather. You can use scissors or even tear it if you wish....
I used my distress tool to add some extra fraying and texture to the edge of the feather...

I wanted to play with some of my alcohol inks and sprays so the next few photos show you how I "painted" my feather once the dress pattern paper was dry....

The last photo above was taken while the feather was drying. I love how it turned out once it was all dry. The inks and sprays crept into the wrinkles on the dress pattern and soaked into the canvas feather and it looks so cool.
This was my first time to play with the canvas feathers and I'm hooked. There are so many ways you can alter the canvas pieces and this is just one example of how you can use your inks and sprays and even some dress patterns to create textures and layers. You can find the feather canvas pieces in the Flutter Canvas Shapes at the Linnie Blooms store.

Thanks for stopping by the Linnie Blooms blog today and for checking out another ScrappinAbby project.

Have a great day and Happy Crafting!!

Birthday Banner

Hello Linnie Bloom Lovers! Jessica LiBasci here from Scatter Joy With Jessann!  Today I want to share a gift I created for a special friend, a Birthday Banner.
I used the Linnie Blooms Canvas Pennants and created a message to remind my friend how much she is LOVED.

Supplies that I used that can be purchased at www.linnieblooms.com
Canvas Pennants, Gelatos, Color Shine Spritz and the Bloom Stencils.

Here is what I did...

Once the pennants were colored I used a wet brush to spread the colors over the canvas.

Then the pennants had to dry.

I used clear acrylic stamps and archival ink to stamp on letters to each pennant.

Next I used Heidi Swapp Color Shine Spritz to spray over each pennant. The bronzer is my favorite because it leaves such a beautiful metallic finish.

My cropadile allowed me to make a perfect hole in each pennant so I could attach them creating the banner.

Later I added liquid pearls as accents to each pennant.

I tied my banner up using wooden skewers. I placed my skewers along with the paper flowers I made into altered jars. I decorated the jars using craft paper and pattern paper using the Linnie Blooms Bloom Stencil

I hope you enjoyed my Birthday Banner! For instructions on how I made my flowers visit my blog, www.jessicalibasci.wordpress.com.
Have a blessed week!
Smile Jesus loves you!

Patriotism Linne Bloom Style.....

Hello! Happy July!!! This month over here at Linnie Blooms you will see that our designers will be showcasing some fabulous projects that represent Patriotism. I am proud to be an American, and I am super excited that I can share with you a fun canvas made into a flag.  Flying the colors of the red, white and blue!
I used a 5x11 canvas, canvas starts, some Heidi Swapp Color Shine and a cute Hanger all from the Linnie Blooms store {HERE}.

I hope that you like my canvas today! Here is how it was made....
I took the canvas and cut a square where I would put my stars.  I then took another piece and covered up the parts I didn't want to spray.  I first sprayed the red, then the blue and then the red again.  I then took white paint and painted dots on the canvas.  I then spritzed the canvas with gold Heidi Swapp spritz spray.  Next I took some yellow spritz and sprayed the stars.  I then put the bling on the stars once that the canvas was dry.  I then took a black marker by Faber-Castel and outlined the canvas to make it pop.

I hope that you enjoyed my project for today!!!

Outdoor Fun with Icecream!

As mentioned before my 10 yo is the coolest kid I know. He really embrace life and enjoy every little minute of it. I snapped this picture of him enjoying a ice cream in the sun last summer. I just love how you really can see how much he enjoys it. It was a natural choice for the June DT challenge outdoor fun. I mean, we don´t eat ice cream on a regular basis, but during the summer, we tend do have one, or tree...

As you can see I have used two products from Linnie Blooms on this page. First of all the canvas trees. To archive the treelike effect I have first sprayed it with 3 shades of spray ink. Then when dry I stamped and embossed the flower shapes from Cocoa Daisy. It turned out better than I thought it would...

I also sprayed on the canvas arrow with a bit of spray ink. I used the Heidi Swapp Color shine in the color Mint green.

Hope this made you long for a cool ice cream in the sun. I´ll be back tomorrow with a card. Have a nice day.

Marie
