Another Wedding!

My goodness! Things have been crazy busy the last few weeks! This last weekend, my cousin Nick got married, and so Katie, Joe and I took a quick little trip down to Farmington, New Mexico for the occasion! We met up with Madre and Padre on Saturday and had fun spending time with them! Nick met his wife, Heather, in Pennsylvania and she has a five year old daughter, Karisma, who is super cute! The following pics are from our little excursion!

Are we there yet?! I took a turn in the back seat while Joe drove...he's an expert driver when it comes to being cautious of deer!

After the luncheon, we had a few minutes to run over to the mall, and I couldn't pass this hat up! Mom and Dad both said it looked like a lampshade...don't worry...I didn't buy it!


Back to setting up for the reception! Katie is an amazing setter-upper of the chocolate fountain! She has the magic touch!

Katie and I finally stopped at the Hole N''The Rock! Katie and I have driven by this place like four times in the past couple years and we always want to stop, and this time we weren't in a hurry to get back, so we stopped! We were always so confused as to where the hole was, but it turns out that the hole is just the part of the rock that a family converted into a house and lived there for several years...not quite as dramatic as we thought it'd be...but we can say now that we've been there! You can kind of see us pointing to the big "HOLE N''THE ROCK!"





Happy early Halloween! We're all dressing up for work tomorrow...I have a couple costume options, so we'll see what I feel like putting on when I get up in the morning! I will for sure post pictures!

Another Get-Together!

We had a little "Bellingham" get-together last night at Mica and Mike's place...so fun to see friends from Washington! Joe kind of fits in as if he were a "Bellingham-ite" because he practically knew everyone there through some weird connection! Crazy connections! Family Love!

We had our cousin get-together this past Saturday, and it was fun to see Jayne and Mandy! Aunt Becky also joined us for lunch and it was fun enjoying each other's company and catching up on the last few years! Lunch was delicious: Katie made homemade macaroni and cheese (thanks to Heather's recipe!), Jayne made some amazing spinach artichoke dip and soup and I brought some pumpkin muffins...which, I must say, were amazing! I added some chocolate chips with a little bit of cream cheese frosting...soo good! I think we'll have to have another "Huber girls" get together in the future!

Pinewood Disaster!

Direct quote from Jac: "Pinewood disaster!" So...our cars definitely did NOT turn out! What's a girl to do with no tools?! I should have just flown Marshall out here to finish them for us...or better yet, fly dad out here! Needless to say, we didn't even take our cars to the ward activity! There's always next year, right?

Cousin Get-Together!

This Saturday, we're having a little cousin's get-together with all the cousins on my mom's side of the family! I made *super simple* invites...but I think they're kind of cute and fall-ish! It's been forever since we've gotten together, so I'm excited to see everyone! We're doing lunch--soup and salad, and everyone just brings which ever they prefer. I can't decide what I want to bring, so if you have any ideas, let me know!

the NEW design*sponge!!

I was so excited to get to work yesterday so I could visit the new design*sponge! I've been reading design*sponge for about a year and a half now and have loved it from day one! My friend, Danielle, and I were able to meet Grace Bonny earlier this summer in New York at The Stationery Show...it was so fun to meet her after reading her blog for so long!
