George's handicraft

George is settling very well in school. He enjoys going to school, but when class ends, he expects me to be punctual to pick him up. If he walks out of his classroom and he did not see me, he feels sad. There are 2 occasions which he cried when he did not see me after his class, whereby I'm only late by less than a minute!

He brought back his first handicraft from school 2 days before CNY. Below is his first handicraft!

George's second handicraft. A mask made from paper plate. Teacher taught them the alphabet C that day. This is one of the way the teacher make them learn alphabets. I personally feel that he can colour quite well!

Some happenings in 2011

It has been a while since I last blog. Life is hectic for me. It is draining me off! But I thank God for giving me a strong and healthy body. I guess I'm a perfectionist. If I'm determined on the things or directions which I want to take, I will persevere and do the best I can.

People has been asking me how I cope with 2 kids + picking George from school + all the household chores I need to do, I just smile. Its a matter of time management, how much of sacrifice Im willing to make and not to be a crybaby who always call mum for help. Certain people always worry for me. But I don't understand why they worry when I do not worry at all.

Daddy is very very busy at work. This year will be a year of considerations and decision makings for us. What will be our next directions? We need to decide.

A good friend of mine is going to hold her wedding this year. But it will not be held locally. She hope that we can attend and if we attend her wedding, she may ask George to be her page boy. Of course, I wish to attend her wedding as well as to have a well deserved holiday. But I cannot decide now. I need to see how my 2 boys are coping first. Coincidentally, her wedding date falls on my wedding anniversary!

Lets hope everything I plan and wish for works out perfectly!

Jayden turns 1

Jayden turns 1 last Saturday. We brought the 2 boys to fidgets to play! They enjoyed so much! At night, bought some mini cakes to blow with him. We did not go back to JB cause it is too near to CNY.

A new challenge for me every year

Every Year, without fail, I will be faced with a new challenge.

2008, George is born.

2009, I was preganant with Jayden and concurrently I have to look after George as well as to manage the house.

201o, Jayden is born. Got to look after a toddler, a baby and also to manage the house.

2011, George goes to school. I need to carry Jayden, walk to interchange, take a bus to the Kindergarten to pick George up. After picking George, got to carry Jayden, hold George, wait for bus, borad bus to go back to interchange and walk home again. Try to imagine the situation Im in.... It is not easy, but I can manage. I have been trained since young not to rely on others, but to depend on myself.

George has settled down in school

After a week, George has settled down in school. He no longer cries even when Daddy dropped him at school. He just walked in with his teacher to his classroom. Everyday, when I picked him up, he will smile to me. I guess he enjoyed his school life. Though he cried hard for the first 2 days, he settled down pretty fast. He is quite an expressive boy, expressing his fear immediately!

Yesterday, he received his school bag. Everyone attending this Kindergarten uses the same school bag and this is what I like about this school. This is to ensure that there are no comparisons among the children.
