Sea Life Center Artsy Photos

Did I mention that I got a new camera for Christmas from Haakon? Well, I have no idea what I am doing but I am having fun taking "artsy" pictures so I thought I would share.

Valentine cookies! Yum!

I made Valentine cookies with the boys and let them decorate them to their "hearts" content!
We love using the ziplock bag for decorating.
Torsty really got into it. If you can't tell, that is his name in white frosting..... ? Or at least I see a "T" somewhere in there....

Saul's favorite part was eating them of course! He would usually eat a few bites out of each cookie before moving on to the next one.
Messy but yummy!

Our cheesy (but fun) Valentine's date

Some friends and I got together and planned a fun date reminiscent of our high school days. We had to ask our husbands out the way that we would have if we had been in high school. Haakon got a ziplock bag full of letters along with a poem. He then had to decipher what it all said. This was the end result:

The girls really wanted to help Haakon come up with a way to answer me and this was only one of many ideas that they had. They of course, had to help make the sign.
Unfortunately the wind was blowing it away so I didn't get a very good picture.

We had to buy matching shirts for the date. The cheesier the better!
Keepin' it real people!
We went to the church and played dodgeball, knockout, broom hockey and at the end had a fun dance with songs from all of our high school dance days. Of course, Haakon and my favorite dance was the "bear hug".

(Hopefully I can get some pictures of the rest of the group from one of the other gals.)

We had such a great time with each other and with our friends that we just might have to make that a Valentine tradition!
