Something New

I have been so busy since I last posted.  So much has been going on in our lives that I've barely had the time to breathe, let alone post on my poor lonely blog.  So quick update and then I'll have to post a super awesome post another time.  Well a couple of weeks ago Shaun was offered a new job in Vernal!  Shaun has been applying and looking for a new job for almost a year now and nothing has come back.  Almost everything that he applied for he was perfectly qualified and should have a least gotten a call back, but nope all the poor guy every got was an email pretty much saying "Sorry, we aren't picking you."  It has been along year of hearing nothing.  Over a month ago though, Shaun found an opening for a social worker for the Ute Indian Tribe over in Vernal.  He was perfectly qualified for it and so he applied hoping that something would come back from this one.  A few weeks after applying he got a letter in the mail saying he had an interview.  This was great news!  The furthest we've gotten in the job hunt so far.  So Shaun went for the interview, did very well and a little over a week later they offered him the job!  So we are on our way to Vernal and can I just say that Shaun's brother Rob and his wife Jess are almost more excited about us moving to the same town as them then we are.  It's really going to be quite an adventure and we are both very excited, even Daniel is excited that he is going to live by his cousins Cam and Luke.  Well that's pretty much the update for new, since then we've just been back and forth to Vernal trying to figure out where to live and get things packed up.  Shaun starts his new job the 5th of March, so I'm almost positive that you're not going to be getting another post out of me until after that time!
