I love my doggies!

So Bentley LOVES to crawl into the dogs cage...but only when they're BOTH in there of course :)  She traps them in there and "pets" them.  It's more like bangs on them haha.  Normally they don't sit still for her loving torture, but for some reason neither of them realize they can walk out of the cage and escape her beating.  None the less...it is adorable and she thinks she is the coolest kid around when she's in there.

Our First Family Trip

This past weekend we went up to my Papa's cabin with my parents to visit him and Shelly and get away from the heat.  It was a fun quick trip, but worth it :)  Bentley was so funny outside, she didn't like the feel of the grass on her feet and the pine trees were prickly so she'd take her hand away and laugh.  She enjoys being outside and watching people.  Here are some pictures from our trip.

David & my Dad had fun trying to do front and back flips on this rope swing, it was pretty amusing for me and T too.  I will mention that later that night the both we complaining how bad their bodies hurt...hmmm...wonder why ;)

4th of July

So I took pictures on Father's Day, but none of David with Bentley...oops :-/  

 Screw the toys....Bentley went straight for the jewelry ;)

 Her suit is a 6-9 month, but her belly is so big it rides up and makes the top hang over it's so funny

We went to my parents house and had a swim/bbq party for the 4th of July.  Gene, Makenna, their 2 kids and Kelli & Chase joined us.  It was a nice relaxing day with great company :)

This was Bentley's 4th time swimming.  The first 2 she wasn't so sure about and the 3rd my Dad and Taylor took her and apparently made her love it!  So for the 4th we got to see her enjoy splashing, swimming in her floaty and even going UNDER the water :)

Fun in the Sun

We took Bentley swimming for the first time at Sherry's house last week.  She was pretty unamused by it, unfortunately.  She LOVES the bath so we thought for sure she would love swimming.  I'm not sure if it wasn't warm enough for her or if it was just overwhelming.  Here are some pictures from our swimming adventure.

I'm horrible, I know!

So life got a little crazy once I started working full time and being a Mom/Wife and I have neglected to post for months and months.  I am not going to promise I will be better, but I certainly will try. 


Let me start by saying I nearly had a heart attack a few weeks ago when our computer started freaking out.  It had some kind of virus, so I did a system restore only to find ALL my pictures were gone.  I was nearly in tears!  Thank goodness my parents neighbor got them all back, but it was just another instance where I learned that blogging is so important.  So here we go, our life the last 5 months in warp speed!
