I am loving every minute of this trip. My DH is missing me so I have to go home as scheduled. I thought about extending my stay but know I am needed at home. I've had fun and it has been so relaxing. I do think Nov. 8 is coming too fast tho.

Rough Ocean at Sunset Bay

The first photo is the fishing boats at Winchester Bay. The other is the bridge at North Bend and the rough ocean at Sunset Bay. The waves were bouncing about 30 ft high or higher. It was beautiful to watch. We are having a fabulous time.

Another simple fall card

This card is pretty plain but I liked how it turned out.

Most of you know my Mother has been back in the hospital but has improved again. I am a strong believer and know the credit all goes to God.

Since she has improved again and they say this could go on for about 6 months or a little less I have decided to go on and go on my trip. I have stayed at the hospital with her all day everyday and am already worn out. It is only an hour drive down an hour back each day but with the stress of not knowing if she would be OK or not I am tired. My kids say to go to Oregon and get a good rest knowing that it could be this way for awhile when I get home. My DH and stepdaughter and brother agree with my kids so am going to go and relax and have some fun, return and take care of my Mother as long as we have her. I leave on Sunday morning so probably won't post again for a few days.

For a Great Grandson

Do you think this is okay for a boy? He is 3 yr old. I made it for a great grandson and was wanting someone else's opinion.

I have been busy packing and trying to get things done before I leave at 6:00AM sunday morning for Oregon. I have a big dinner for our families Sept. Oct, Nov and Dec. birthdays on Saturday and will need to cook a dish of somekind and bake a cake. I also have my oldest son and his family coming thursday or Fri. so I will have overnight guests to take care of and leave them here when I go to Tulsa to catch my plane Sunday. That is okay as they will head home that day too. I am so looking forward to this trip.

Nickies Birthday card

This card is for my Grandaughter in Redding, California. I sure do hope she will like it. I fly to Oregon on her birthday.

We have been having some fun with visiting cousins of my DH. We've had mini reunions and lots of going out to eat with them and a lot of visiting. It has been really nice to see them. It's been about 8-10 years since we last saw them so we've had a lot of catching up to do. They are leaving this weekend sometime, probably on Sunday. We will miss them cause they are a lot of fun.

For a friends birthday on Wish Rak

I recieved a call last night saying Jade is doing much better. I am really relieved to hear this good news. Maybe she will get out of the pediatrics ICU in a week they are saying. I hope so.

Glenn got his stitches out today and the Dr. said everything is doing fine and he could drive since his stiches were out. I think it is too soon but he hates me driving him around.

I am packing again for my trip. Hope I get to go cause Denise is telling me about this stamp store in Oregon that carries Magnolia stamps, Krafting Kimmie stamps and I think she said Stampavie. I have to go there. She says it is huge and carries tons of paper.

Fall Frolic Exchange thank you

This is a thank you card for my Wish Rak Fall Frolic Exchange gift box. It was filled with awesome things and I have loved them all. Karen Chase had my name and did a beautiful job of filling it with all things fall. I think Lena is getting ready to post the Christmas Exchange and it will also be fun.

Today the weather is beautiful and Glenn and I are going to a family reunion, a mini one, but it will be good for him to get out of the house. He has cousins visiting from Texas.

Megan's Birthday Card

I am having a great day crafting. I can't really go anywhere cause Glenn is not moving very fast so someone has to be his gofer for a few more days. I am definitely moving his oxygen machine to the other room tonight so I can get some rest. He slept right thru all the noise but I didn't. Hope I either get used to it or the bi pap machine is not so loud. He only is using the oxygen until his sleep study and gets his machine.

I hope Megan likes her card. This is one of my favorites of the new Tildas.

Rock Star

This is a High Hopes image I stamped with one of Denise's stamps while she was here this summer. I think this image is too cute. With some Christmas paper from a Hobby Lobby tablet I turned her into a christmas card for one of the Grandkids, probably either Lexie or Raven or maybe Annabelle. They are the ones who would love a Rock Star card.

For Alan and Mandi

Some friends from our church were married the same Sat. night as our grandson so we missed this couples wedding. I've been trying all week to finish this card for them between trips to the hospital with my DH. My DH is doing better and am so glad the surgery is done and overwith and hopefully he will get back up and on his feet fairly soon.
