can sometimes be frustrating.
it's often a love-hate relationship.

you get frustrated at some friends who seem to forget that friendships are relationships too.
like all relationships, it needs work and effort.
and when you receive flippant or indifferent replies..
you just feel that it aint worth it anymore.
because what's the point of being aggravated when the other party or parties obviously dont give a damn

it takes 2 hands to clap
but i guess if it doesnt get through to the other party or parties
no point working on the relationship on your own

easier said than done.
but experiences makes it easier each time.

portobello mushroom is my worst enemy.
a lot of people give me the gasp of shock and tell me things like "They are like the best things on earth", "You are missing out man", "No way, they're so delicious"
sorry, can't appreciate.

i found out that im allergic to mushrooms through portobello!

dishes with mushrooms are fine as long as i don't consume the actual mushrooms.
so i dont miss out on delicious dishes, especially when Chinese likes to cook mushroom with scallops and broccoli.
can't miss out on scallops and broccoli!

all because of an incompetent HDB personnel and 1 idiotic neighbor.
don't understand how someone can be so pompous and arrogant without any sense of 好公民/公德心 in him. totally trying to take advantage of the situation.
and how incompetent that govt personnel is.

is it that difficult to resolve this issue?
the solution is very simple to me.
get the damn tiles within reasonable price range if hdb tiles are really that lousy and hdb just get the damn job done.
but NOOOOOOOOO...
my neighbor had to demand this and that. fengshui, my ass. you're freaking responsible for my plight. what fengshui are you talking about?! your money is flowing into my flat if you wanna talk about fengshui.
you should be f-ing grateful that i'm paying 25% of the cost and hdb is absorbing 50%! you should be paying for ALL imo! and you dare demand for a heavy duty tile that's freaking $10+ per tile when it's REALLY UNNECESSARY. are you that heavy? are you parking a car in your toilet?!
you're such an opportunist and riding on your neighbor's misfortune. you'll get retribution for this, im sure. you should be ashamed of yourself!
the hdb personnel is also another hindrance and not doing his job properly. just trying to push this whole matter to us.
he is giving half truths and purposely omitting information to both parties. or simply useless.
i'm so gonna complain to your superior about you.

my flat is seriously crumbling down.
that's the problem with living in a flat for almost 30 years and not renovating.
