The last day of my work.
Goodbye to crabs, mee kias and mee poks.
2 years fly by in a snap of the fingers.
i'm saying hello to a brand new beginning.

will definitely miss my colleagues back there. le sigh~
the breakfast breaks.
the adventures with the microwave.
the drama.
the gossips.

he's the kind of artiste i like. the kind that performs different versions of their own original songs.
instead of playing the cd version over and over again.
it gets boring after a while..
i'm gonna watch him if he ever comes Singapore for a concert!!

恋爱就是这么一会儿事....

i think watching  SS小燕之夜 can be quite beneficial at times ....
some of the things that  小燕姐 says are very meaningful..
her words of wisdom..值得听和思考...
and she's damn good at asking questions that 一针见血...
and the artistes 都会真情流露....and they dont know how to react...

in the below episode, she asked if your bf is successful and ask you to be the woman behind him. To just be. Would you? Give up your dreams and work to just be the woman behind him in his successful life.
i'm not sure if i can.
but yet like  小燕姐 says, it's important for the person to decide which is more important, the partner & r/s or career.
you can say there should be a balance between both. but how many people can truly say they are doing a good job?
有时真的要取舍。
success often comes with sacrifices. true story. 
hahhaa.


she also mentioned that she disagrees for a couple who are too busy with their own work and drifts apart from each other because of work... (i think this is just sad...cuz it shows that your work is more important than your bf/gf)
and this line really pow wows man...真的不要把机会让给所有...(meaning 其他的因素..be it 3rd party..stress etc.)...
not implying that the guy/girl wishes/wants to stray...but...你有太多的事情让他去跟别人一起去感受...而不是跟你一起感受....
when i heard the above line....it just strikes me...on how true that statement is....sometimes when a person strays...albeit the cheater has fault...but have the injured considered that he/she allowed the straying to happen... and this makes the injured at fault too..


in the episode, she encourages girls to date more. Not saying that you have to be easy/loose but to find a person that really suits you. and then she continued to add something that really strikes the bull's eye again.
in a r/s, there's no such thing as suitable but, you'll find someone who is able to adapt to you and you're able to adapt to him. 适应 is the key word.
i think that's very true. and of course, love is the motivator to 适应.
