i just watched an italian? movie.

haha i have no idea what language was transversed. i think it was italian, if not, french.

but the main leads are v attractive.

it's about a love story between a 17 yr old girl and a 37 yr old man.

it talks about the idea of love, infidelity and society's moral views on a r/s between 2 individuals who has a huge disparity in age and life stages.

quite cute. the girl is really incorrigible in the movie but brave.

haha the antics of a 17 yr old girl.

i think the girl is really pretty. 

the actor reminds me of a hollywood actor but i cant really recall his name.

funshion is good! it has all sorts of movies and shows.

haha. indulging in it.

i've been so busy with work.
(yes, working through weekends are norm nowadays. make that every weekend.)
i havent been going out nor catching up with my friends

Deepavali long weekend

its depressing that everyone is out there enjoying themselves while i slog my mind out working.

when i should be joining them and hanging out. catching up and celebrating birthday.

i havent seen them for a while already! :(

this year's work cycle is SHITTY.

its times like these i resent my work A LOT.

and a lot of crisis have been striking me at work.

atomic bombs one after another. 

there are so many incidents that cements my determination to QUIT my job even further and almost immediately. cannot stand the hierarchical structure.

but i cant quit due to this innate/trained thinking of taking and being responsible. which i feel it's silly of me.

Alison was the omniscient one.

that is Alison. she looks so barbie.

and these are the girls. i think they are all HOT.

It's when you see so many of your friends and acquaintances getting engaged and married..

you know you are grown up.
i just saw photos of an acquaintance in school getting married.
facebook updates with friends posting getting engaged or married.
every other week, i'll see pictures of people getting married.
it's moments like this that you realize you're not getting any younger. and you're reaching the 25 yr old mark. quarter of a century.
and it's terrifying.
where have my youth gone to?????
and in the next 3-5 years.. i'll probably be like them. stepping into the next stage in life.
soon i'll need to start worrying about flats, wedding, family planning and what nots..HAHA.

compared to my colleagues in office who's ard my age, i feel much older than them in terms of thinking and stage in life.
of course, we still joke and say the darnest things in office.
but i feel a couple of years older than them although i probably look younger than them.
darn, sometimes i hate how young i look. younger than my actual age. 
oh! i signed up for korean classes and the girl who attended to us was like 19 and she thought i was younger than her. GEEZ. and i was in office wear that day. i mean seriously =.=||||||  do i look THAT young?????

i've been hearing and seeing so many marriage notices ard me.

i never paid special attention to them as i'm neither a big fan of spice girls nor soccer.

but i chanced upon a video of david beckham and his kids..

so that started my journey of watching videos of them both.

one video led to another..

and i must say..david beckham is really gorgeous..

victoria beckham looks stunning and stylish.

i adore their british accent.

we all know david beckham is nice, down to earth and bloody gorgeous.

but victoria had always been portrayed as cold, unfriendly and a bitch.

but they do look good together. haha.

it was this series that changed my perception of her.

i think i like her now.

she appeared so ditzy and missy in the show.

sometimes the things she say makes her look like a bimbo that it's hilarious.

and she's got a wicked sense of humour.
she's pretty funny. lol.
she's really into her family. she deserves praise for it.
she can be all materialistic, vain, bimbotic, high maintenance etc.
she's undeniably posh spice ;)
but at least she's herself. and i believe beneath all that, she's a smart person.
she knows what works for her and how to work the media.
more importantly, she laughs at herself.
for that, i respect her.
and i realized her 口头禅 is the word "major". haha.

especially the finale dance by the house of pirates..

the lights display coupled with the dance was mindblowing!

SG's drama rarely ever have such nice/meaningful phrases. le sigh~~
& music is a very important component of a show. the song for this drama is nice! by 何润东 - "我记得我爱过"




i love 欧辰's character! even though he did some crazy & extreme things.
but it's all out of love/concern. not all justifiable but understandable.
越爱就越怕失去. 有时候，爱一个人要懂得怎么放手.
& 大S's acting is superb! especially when her brother died. WHOAAAAA. you can literally feel the heartache.
this is a drama worth watching!
not as WOW as 命中 but definitely one of the better idol dramas around recently. more realistic. not too lovey dovey. it's 'darker' in a way.

i will still choose 欧辰. :D
because he's the one who can give a sense of security to the girl. despite the childish things he does. hahaha. if you think through his intent and motivation behind his actions, it's cuz of love. but sometimes love aint enough....of cuz :)

it was so filled with suspense and thrills.

in fact, the whole plot is very intriguing.

the ideas behind the movie are...for the lack of better description..very thought provoking.

but i hate the ending!

haha cuz there was no actual conclusion if leonardo actually got back to the REAL reality.

it was left up to the audience to decide.

i hate this kinda endings! haha.

anw, it's definitely worth the moolahs to catch it in theatres.

R&R - random & rambling

Caught 'Killers' yesterday.
and boy! was it great.
it was hilarious and a little goofy.
ashton kutcher has never appealed to me before...but he was HOT in the movie. his bod..*droolworthy*
he appealed LOTS to me then. hahahahaha.
i always used to think he looks too goofy.but he looks more matured now. new aura abt him. i think its the hair..hmmm...hahaha
anw, heigl looks good tog with him.
it's hard to imagine that he is married with a kid with demi moore. she is one lucky woman!
he was sleek, charming and sweet all at the same time in the movie.
& dangerous/lethal as well.
dun mess with the killer! hahahha.
but the ending was a bit blah.
but overall, it was entertaining. definitely worth watching :)

SATC II was mediocre imo.
of course, the fashion was fantastic as usual.
the dresses were gorgeous~~~
the DECADENCE of Abu Dhabi!!
it was super extravagant.
22,000 USD a night for an ultra posh suite. penthouse like? hahaha. the whole floor was theirs!
it's madness.
but the plot leaves much to be desired.
it felt like all themes related to marriage were thrown in.
quantity more than quality. it was all touch and go. there wasn't really depth in the show.
no particular highs or lows in the show.
except when you saw the beautiful decor and extravagant settings.
otherwise, it was overall, lacklustre.
in fact, it felt like a 2 hr advertisement for Abu Dhabi. dont ya think? haha.

oh wait, i just read that they shot it in Morocco. CHEY.
now i feel cheated.

still love the characters though.
samantha, horny and spouting sexual innuendos/puns as usual.
charlotte, mother of 2, always prim and proper.
miranda, the strongheaded and workaholic.
finally, carrie, wild/free and in love with BIG.
but she looks a little too skinny for her own good.
& BIG is just his old charming self. le sigh.
what he did at the end of the movie was v sweet.
he took out the irritating plasma tv in the bedroom and got her a rock.
said all the right things at the end. hahaha
but they look aged, i must say. naturally.

ok after the 2 hr escape from reality, crashed down to earth.
it's back to minutes writing. and it's gonna be tortuous.
it was a lousy end to a friday.

it was a fantastic episode.
it was heartbreaking, sad, heartwarming.

i feel like crying for all their losses.

the killer ought to be caught and jailed!!!
he doesn't deserve to kill himself and be free after all he's done!
what he did wasn't justice.
it was MURDER.
the motives & reasons doesn't justify the end.

never knew going to the navy openhouse would wrought such torture. haha.

COOLZ.
it was an awesome sequel.
the fighting scenes were, as usual, breathtaking.
however, this movie didn't have as many funny anecdotes or scenes.
but the 震撼力 was superb.
donnie yen was as cool as usual. but it was a pity that sammo hung died in the middle of the movie.
opps! hehe. spoiler alert.
bii told me 肥仔 had passed away. is it true?
anw, if you dont already know, bruce lee is his disciple.
the last scene when lil bruce lee appeared was quite cute. haha.
so go catch it if you haven't!

anw, watched iron man 2 as well.
it was quite a disappointment to me.

the finale was quite anticlimax. because they defeated the bad guy so easily.

which was like huh! it's over?

but the machinery was pretty cool. effects as well.
it's amazing how they could come up with all these fancy technology.

and ironman's ego at the beginning of the movie was so overbearing.

with these 2 movies in theatres now, the cinemas were packed to the max!

the tickets were selling like hotcakes.

luckily we bought the tickets early, if not, we'll be sitting ducks.

MAN U won.

i never knew that bii would act the way he did while watching a MAN U match.
haha. it was adorable.
according to him, im by default a MAN U fan because he supports MAN U and im just indifferent to soccer.
it irks him when i keep saying goal when tottenham possessed the ball. lol.
i love to irritate him, it's a hobby of mine. lol!
so when MAN U first scored a goal against tottenham, his shout startled me as i was watching youtube.
it was a penalty scored by Giggs.
and then when Nani scored the 2nd goal, he was jumping for joy.
by the 3rd goal, he was holding me, waiting in anticipation for Giggs to nail the free kick.
when he did, he actually hugged me tight and kissed me, basically jumping for joy.
hahaha.


what an amusing experience. lol.

How to train your dragon!

i admit i had a certain misconception of the movie because of the title.

i mean, im sure there's a better way to name this movie. it sounds so =.='''

i really thought this movie was stupid. and the dragon didnt look cute to me at all. the male character wasnt cute too. i just couldnt find anything that would compel me to watch it.

and i only went to watch it because my boy wanted to watch.

alas! i was proven wrong.

this movie was much better than expected.

*i can so imagine kwee's smug expression when he reads this*

the dragon and kid still looked terrible when the movie just started..

it won me over when the dragon displayed his cuteness!

just look at the photo above and compare it with the latter...such a big diff right!

the latter looked so adorable!!!

how the male lead subdue the dragons was so hilarious!

alright, girls are suckers for cute things.

and the dragon's name is toothless.

hahaa. what a joke.

typical kinda small-kid-turn-hero plot.

but it was a good movie.

good mix of life lessons and humour.

it actually has deeper meanings behind the movie.

listen with an open mind when one has something to say.

never underestimate anyone because of one's size.

conflicts can be resolved with a little more understanding if we really make the effort to gain more knowledge of what we dont know.

 never judge a book by its covers.

i would recommend this movie to anyone who hasnt seen it.

it will win you over like it did me :)

go watch it!
