and took LOADS of photos!

anyway, the national library has upgraded so much.
i had no idea!
i was walking home just now when i saw the library and decided to visit it on impulse since it's open and i had nothing much to do..
i haven't been to the library ever since sec 2? that's like almost 10 years ago...*gasp*
and boy, was I amazed..lol!
u can pretty much do everything online nowadays..or at their kiosk or computer stations..
and there was only one customer service personnel..and small counter that says customer service..
i remembered there used to be so many of them..i felt ancient..ahahaha..
and i just found out you can borrow audio books but u need to subscribe to be their premium member...
since when they had such things?! I never knew they had audio books, much less loan them out! and PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP?! *boggled*
so i decided to borrow a book from the library for fun...haha...even though i have plentiful to keep me occupied at home at the moment..
and i actually reserved a book at the library. hehe.
i'm beginning to like the library now. haha!

finally enjoying the pleasure of reading..
it's been long...
i've missed reading...










entranced and intrigued by the wonders of fiction :)

I just had a very absent-minded and amusing day. LOL.

the day started with my dad waking me up at 2pm, asking me the time of my paper.
thank gawd he woke me up.
almost went into shock when i woke up seeing the bright afternoon sun shining into my room.
cuz apparently my phone went berserk. and my alarm was damn soft.
i thought i was late for my paper.

so off the bed i went.
wash up, print some final notes, read through the notes, eat lunch, dress up for school., pack my bag.
off i go to the exam venue for my final paper at 5pm!
everything was well, or so i thought.

upon reaching the exam venue, a bombshell was dropped on me.
i.actually.forgot.my.blardy.textbook.and.it's.an.open-book.exam.
only 4 letters appeared in my mind.
F.U.C.K
can you imagine my anxiety and shock!
hur hur.
throughout my 3.5 years in SMU, THIS has NEVER happened.
fortunately, there's always a silver lining in the clouds.
i did bring my notes. just that i wasn't sure if that's enough for the paper. cuz i made notes in my notes to refer to the textbook.
so i prayed that it's enough for the exam.
i met my friends outside the venue.
and they told me the prof sent out an email regarding the format.
and yep, once again, i didn't see that email.
*another tight slap on my confidence*
'...ok...i think it shouldn't be that bad since the format is like that...' raced through my mind after hearing the format.
the time finally came for the moment of truth.

'you may start' says Prof Yoo.
*flip*
*heaves sigh of relief*
'ok la...the paper isnt that bad...'

and my prof was freaking amusing..
'you only need 5 pages, one page for question 3, and half page for the rest of the questions..if you need another booklet, you are in trouble..'
LOL!
and GUESS WHAT.
question 3: 40 marks
the rest of the 4 questions were 15 marks each.
my prof is amazing right? lol.

& halfway through the exam...he spoke.
'okay students, for question 3, it's inside your session 9 notes...partnership success...the 3 factors' *holding up the slide that has partnership success*
'and leverage means overcome....' *with his typical comical face expression..
the hall erupted in giggles..
it almost didn't feel like an exam..lol..
and apparently some guy finished at 6.30pm (my exam starts at 5pm)...and the prof didnt wanna let him go..according to my friend..haha...
and he went around the hall to ask if we are coping with the paper.. i was one of them.. haha..
i wonder if i looked stressed..

7pm came. papers were collected.
doors to freedom opened!
woohoo.
then! i almost left my phone on the exam table. -.-''''' luckily i realized..
went toilet...and left my bottle of water there..
met baby..went comics connection..and i actually couldnt find dear boys comic collection when its right there in my face...
GOSH.
what is wrong with me.

and this question popped out...
how & why do r/s fail even if there're no extraneous factors (3rd party, family, religion, friends, society) affecting it?
have you pondered?


is it.....


because both parties are used to each other...hence taking each other for granted..& u stopped putting in effort to keep the fire burning...

or to begin with...you didn't really like your partner..but got together cuz you weren't repulsed by him/her...or you were lonely...and even when together...the feelings just dont grow..

maybe the feelings faded but are still together cuz of habit & when someone better/interesting comes along...you break up... (then do you consider that person a bitch or bastard?)

probably cuz both parties progressed to a different stage of life/ changed mindsets...leads to changed perception of each other? (then i guess the 'it's not you, it's me' reason would surface)

neurological change?????? lol.

yes, she came last year
& she's back this year..after abt 1 year..
& boy! IT WAS AWESOME.
her vocals were fantastic
her performance was absolutely superb.
she worked the crowd perfectly
in conclusion: A* performance
totally blown away by JUST her voice
she hit the notes with perfection.
worth every cent of my $$
she is indeed a STAR.
her costumes were really bling bling to the max.
n she's pretty hot!
her heels are killer heels man..
at least 4 inches!
even her backup singers had great voices
the whole atmosphere was electrifying!
hearing her live performance is A 100 TIMES, no a MILLION TIMES better than her cd..


no words can fully describe this experience.
she's truly a diva (i mean it in a good way)

I got picked up by a random guy out of nowhere while walking home tonight!
it was damn scary!
it was late..like 11 plus kinda late...
the freaking citi bill caused me to walk home..
'cause i had to run here n there to pay my farking bill..so i decided to walk home since i was already at the library.
who knew this guy in a car slowed down and asked me for directions.
& i really thought he needed directions!
on hindsight, I should have knew!
