Family Updates - Aug 2010 to Oct 2011

It has been a while since our last update. Life whizzes you by sometimes, and it has been the case of the Lim Family in the past year.


KaiLe is now 2 years 8 months old. He sure is one active boy, and we're really enjoying him. Thank God for his growth, and for the joy and sunshine he brings to our lives.



We welcomed KaiJun into the family on 14 Oct 2011. He is 2 weeks old today, still a sleepy fella for now. We are reminded of God's goodness and blessings to us with the birth of a second child. May we continue to seek to please and glorify God in all that we do, and to love Him with all our heart, soul, strength and mind.

If Satan cant make you sin, he makes you busy...

Indeed if you really wait for free time then start thinking of your family.... then probably you will get none.
Thank God for the great reminder by Ah long as he takes time off to spent time with his wife or family. I am very careful when it comes to taking leave as the 10 days are really precious.
This year is my first time which I took 1 weekday leave to spent time with my family... and I enjoyed every moment of it.
Looking forward to our break in dec where we will spent a good 10 days together:-)
Like will be really meaningless if its just work... work... work....

A long awaited Zoo Outing

As we read in the book of Ecc. we realise that the things of the world will all die one day. Therefore what in this world is more meaningful than to spent time with our love ones, fellow Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
We also enjoyed showing our kids the different animals whom they have long read in their books and iphones witnessing it coming to life. That's a really amazing moment when you see your kids' eyes brighthen , with fingers pointing to the lion and then to picture of lion in the book.

To God be the glory for His wonderful creation.

3.... 17.... 29.....

On the evening of 12 April 2010, our son took 3 steps of faith across my mother-in-law living room. He started with 3 steps then sat on his butt. David stand up and tried again walking a good 13 steps across the whole hall... It will simply amazing sight... I actually captured it on video.
After that day, he began to try very hard. Looking for any opportunity to walk.
Praise the Lord:-)

CNY Visit to the Neos...

Thank God for keeping the Lims & Neos healthy, peaceful and safe in 2009.
We pray that God will enable us to continue to strengthen our marriage and role model Godliness to our kids.

Words cant really describe how much love you have showered me.
Celebrating my 30th Birthday in such a surprise, is really too much for an uncle's heart. Gazing across the room, 38 familiar faces with big smiles greeted me as the clock strikes 12. You guys really Boomz!
