Thankful

I'm not a frequent blogger. I guess my main reason for not posting often would be the kaos of mothering two vibrant boys. My second reason is my inability to upload photo's on my husbands high tech camera. I know this is the age of technology but I am revolting as much as possible. Does anyone just play outside anymore using nothing but their imagination to entertain them.?.. Thats a soap box of its own. Today I have been reflecting on what I'm thankful for. I feel that by listing the things I'm thankful for it brings me perspective on how GOOD the Lord has been to me. In mother hood you have great days and very hard days. Days that you feel outside yourself as you watch your children play and think "how did I get here?" "How am I so lucky" and then days where you can't imagine it getting any harder than having your child throw up all over you and then have your other son poop on the floor. Yes I said poop on the floor, all while you are trying to cook dinner. But by the grace of God you get through it as unscathed as possible and push forward to the next great day where your 3 year old grabs your face and says "momma you are beautiful" and suddenly you have the energy and love to move mountains. How did I get so lucky to have two healthy boys and a loving husband.?. How did I get here to this place where I get to stay home and teach my son's as they grow, watching them learn about the world around them?... I am thankful, Lord, I AM THANKFUL! God has been so good to me. I challenge you to list what you are thankful for.....

We had a great time celebrating our little guy with family and friends. Thank you to everyone for coming and loving on our family. It means the world to us!

Several weeks ago, The story clan loaded up and headed to Chick-fil-A dressed in our best cow costumes! It was so fun and we plan on doing it every time they have a cow appreciation day.

A few Fridays ago the Story clan suited up in our best cow costumes and headed out to Chick-fil-a for cow appreciation day!!! It was AWESOME. If you dress up (head to toe) like a cow you get a free meal.!. We are officially doing this everytime they offer it. It was a blast. Paxton still talks about it.
