Babymoon

We usually pack our bags and head to Disneyland this time of year, but this year is different. I seriously contemplated going to Disneyland, but once the hugeness and fatigue of pregnancy set in I knew I just couldn't do it this year. So, we are already making plans to take Lukey to Disneyland next year and this year we took a short Babymoon to Lincoln City. We expected rain and cold weather, so we were pleasantly surprised to see the sun a few times and we enjoyed our little getaway.

This was the great view from our room. Not exactly ocean front, but we wanted a room with a jetted tub and this was a great price for a great room. We were right on Siletz Bay and had ocean views.

It was so nice to relax in the tub and it felt great on my aching body. I wish I had a big jetted tub at home.

We headed out for a walk on the beach while the sun was shining. That is our hotel back there.

We ate lunch on the top floor of the hotel in the distance and it was SO good. We had amazing views, not many people at lunch time and they made me a virgin raspberry margarita and it was so delicious!! If you are in Lincoln City I would recommend eating lunch at Fathoms at the Inn at Spanish Head.

The only picture of us together!!

The sun does shine occasionally on the Oregon coast.

On our last day we stopped at the glass blowing shop and I wish we would have come the day before because then we would have made our own glass float. It is so mesmerizing to me to watch them make the glass. Someday we will go back and make our own float to take home.

We had fun shopping, eating out, napping, taking baths and just relaxing. It was just what both of us needed. I wish we could have stayed all week! It's crazy that it was our last trip without a little one. I am definitely feeling ready to have this little guy. He is getting bigger everyday and I really think (or maybe just hope) that I will have him before my April 30th due date.
