Waiting & Winning

This trip we were in the 6th camping spot. Always nice to see the Ocean from your campsite. 

He is such a good dog. 

So, we closed her up and left her. She will now go into Storage at Lakewood, meaning anytime we camp, just call them up and it will be sitting on our site. We were on the waiting list for one year. 

 

Destination and decision

Well our decision to come to Lakewood for our anniversary was a good one. Beyond loving being here, we've had good weather and have really enjoyed it. Last night we went out to Paula deen's restaurant. That is our kind of food. Yesterday, we also did something that was incredible. After being on the waiting list for a year, we finally put our camper in storage here at Lakewood. The cost is $1,000, which is a lot of money, but now we don't have to pull the camper down here. We will be able to drive the car and hopefully come more often.

 

40th wedding anniversary

 

On February the 12th, we celebrated our 40th anniversary. To be honest, we really didn't get to do what we wanted to, and that was to go to Florida, as we have been planning to do for over 2 years. The first time we were not able to go because that is the year that my dad passed away. That being said, the next best thing that we could do was to come down here to Lakewood campground. This is one of our favorite places in the world...

Mission

Yesterday I worked with Jeremey, as T-Rex is in South Africa for his grand fathers funeral. Having a transport to Mission with a fractured femur, we went to Mission. This is what it looked like. There were many ambulances, almost to the point of running out of room. Sometimes, this is crazy. Today, I work with Ray and tomorrow it will be Jackson. 

Ray is a good guy and I call him a friend, but he is hard to work with. The reason is that he has been doing this for a long time and he will only do it his way. This if frustrating, but I figure today, I will prepare for it. Be ready, and take whatever comes...

 

Dogs & Decisions

This is never a good thing, but still exciting none the less. This situation was tough: Our thoughts were a possible Triple A, AAA, or as it it known, a Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm . It was a tough call to make, but according to pur protocol, we were justified in obtaining air flight. 

This is funny, Bailey enjoys watching TV, especially when animal are on there. Here he was watching horses. 

Meet Bitsy, our newest family member. She is Three and is a  mix of a Rat Terrier and  Jack Russel.

The great thing about my ride to work is this; it's only 10 minutes and because I live where I do, there are plenty of views...

 

Playing

Chad was here again this weekend. I look so forward to him and his family visiting. I do get sad knowing that he has a son that he has no contact with. Prayerfully, maybe one day. The Pic- His truck is so much bigger than mine 

So, when you are bored at work you start playing around. This is a joke. Mac was asleep on the couch and we were threatening to intubate him. Just Kidding

I was just standing at work and looking at the trucks. Each truck, ready, stocked, staffed and ready for service. I have just enjoyed two days off, and today I am picking up an extra shift, so a three day run is starting today. One thing is for sure, you never know what you will face on shift. A sick person, a fall or even a code. You just never know, you just got to be ready. 

Chad came up this weekend and we enjoyed a meal at the Buffet, then they went riding and we watched Jules for a bit.
