Friday

Well I can say for sure that this week has been much better than the first. Everything is going much better and we are much more relaxed this week. I had a chance to meet the DOM that is leaving Avery Association yesterday. He really seems like a great guy and is focusing his attention on his verterans ministry. We met the secretary and was able to look at the apartment where we will winter. It's really small but it is also free. So, all in all its been a great week. This Saturday we are going to the ASU game in Boone. Great, it's gonna be reaining and a high of 58. We are sitting down at the coffee house on campus and taking advantage of an hour or two of down time. That's all for now....

Be Back

Well it's been a nice break. Tomorrow morning we will head back to Crossnore for another 7 day run. Because internet service is hard to get I probably will not be posting anything. So, unless something happens we will be back next Wednesday. For now it seems that we are picking things up in one place and moving it to another. I will be glad in a week or two when we have our schedule more straight. It won't be shotgun barrel straight but close enough.

Rally Bound

Hello to all my blogger buddies. We are off now from crossnore and looking forward to a few days off. We are headed to Denton NC for the Fall Campers on Mission Rally through sunday. This may be aour last camping trip for a while as we have to get ours in the shop pretty soon. Should have time to catch up with everyone soon.

Checking in again

At new home since last Thursday. Wow, what a change in our lives. Older teenage boys who hate their life, hate God and everything right now. This is a bigger challenge than I thought, but God will see us through. Back for a few more hours of training... and then we will be off for a few days. Need Prayer my friends

Checking In....

Lord how our life had changed. We have no internet at our cottage, just eithernet or something. My Sprint card does not work so I slipped off to the coffee house. Things are so crazy right now. Our heads are spinning. There are hardly nothing here but teenagers and they all come with drama. After a few days things are starting to make sense somewhat. We covet your prayers and will check in again when I can.

Storming a bit....

Sitting here at the house in Waco this Wednesday morning listening to it storm. I've always liked storms. We will leave this morning sometime and head back up to Candlestick for the night. We report to our new job at Crossnore Thursday morning. TC and I re very excited about this new chapter in our lives. Heck I love change. Well Mom and Dad are off the Marion to the Tom Johnson Camping Rally so we are here by ourselves and that means coffee alone. Better get to some homework this morning.

Study

Up early doing school work. Looking at the 20 major doctrines of God found in Genesis, then writing an essay paper on one of them to finish Chapter one of the Mosaic Writings Class.......Lots of little to do things today!

Another Day?

Nice day yesterday, topped it off with coffee with Chad and Jill last night and a good story from Brian. Ate a poor man's supper from the Methodist Church here in Minniapolis. This morning we are taking a tour of every church in the association, all 23 of them with Brian and Chad. Very cool this morning but it feels great. Suppose to go home today but I think we are staying another day.
