Sunny and I had a bugger of a week, and our good friend Karly had just moved to Vegas from Parump, so we went and stayed with her and had SUCH a great weekend! She had packed a bag for us for the pool and we relaxed by the pool. Then we went and had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. We visited on the patio and enjoyed our dinner and good girl time!
We found a carousal on our way home and stopped for a photo shoot, it was just good, goofy girly fun!
Sunny even kissed a frog...

I'm JAMMIN!
What... you may ask does a single girl do with 200 lbs of peaches? After I got home with my loot I asked myself the same question! I let them ripen for a few days in the laundry room and then started to panic that they were going to rot! So... I took a day off of work and jammed for the first time in my whole life! ALL of my jars sealed! I made peach leather, 4 batches of jam (54 jars) and 12 jars of canned peaches. Then I gave a bunch of peaches to my peeps at work, my friend Sunny and the rest to Jamaica's friend Lisa... I'd say I'm set for at least a year with peaches and jam! It was so fun!
Millions of Peaches
The church orchard's peaches were getting so ripe that they opened the orchard to the public for free peaches! Each household could take up to 200 lbs of peaches... so Jamaica, Michael, Jen, Taylor and I got up bright and early... enjoyed the sunrise on the way to the orchard...
It was such a peaceful morning and the peaches were perfect and everyone was so polite and it was just a lil slice of heaven seeing the fruits of the labors of everyone who helped with the whole crop

Back to School...
I think I posted about this at one time that I was contemplating going back to school... well it's official... I'm officially enrolled and actually completed 3 classes!
Can I also just say, 'degree completion' aka 'fast track' courses are pretty much bomb-diggity.... I take an entire course in 4 weeks, which sounds intense, but when it's a class that I have no desire to be in (Public Relations) 4 weeks is bearable. Not to mention the professors cut out a lot of the fat and we just get down to the nitty gritty, which is.... AWESOME! So, if I stay on track I'll be done with classes next July and then I have until October to write a thesis and I'll graduate with a Bachelor's in Communication- Leadership and Organizational. And after getting my feet wet, let me just say.... I actually like school. It makes my brain work, it gets me 'out of the box' and it's interesting to think of the possibilities. So here's to furthering education.... my current slogan: BE COOL, STAY IN SCHOOL

I'm Still Here!
So, after a few emails I decided I better re-dedicate myself to updating my blog..... I always enjoy reading people's blogs and get annoyed when they don't update them.... that, and I always wish people would include pictures with their stories... ps.... I am a 'visual' learner... just fyi.
So here I am... I'm still alive....
I'm not in here.....

April in God's Country
I didn't make it home for Christmas this year, so I've been a bit homesick.... so I flew home to WYO!! It was a rockin fun 10 days, it snowed in April.... that's WYO weather for ya!
We had a baby shower for my girlfriend Tanya...she's due in 6 weeks!
I got to hang out with my girlfriends that I've known since 6th grade, which is ALWAYS a hoot!
My dad and I did some shooting.... I'm not too bad with a gun it turns out! Now a bow and arrow.... run for cover! I can't even draw the thing back!
I got to shoot his S & W 500, and then I shot his swift, the coolest shot was a milk jug at 300 yards..
.
but I had a great time with my dad!
and we got to fly his kite... it's a trick kite, and it's SO COOL!
And I went to Easter dinner in Riverton with a bunch of my aunts and uncles and both my Grandma's! It was a great trip, even if it was dramatic getting back to Utah!
