sighz. sometimes i really dunno what am i doing anymore.
today i went to zone meeting. it was like a major discussion about things here and there. one of them was about having jnco in dec and then snco in june. william asked for opinions from the corps. so i guess i am the oldest there for dhs, so i just said loh. by right in zone meeting, all opinions are supposed to mean like your corps think that way. i was quite confident about my opinion and i just said loh, that we should have 1 year lapse for jnco and snco, and why etc. and our corps constraints for only able being to hold jnco in dec. right. and thus maybe snco should be in dec also blahblah. at least till that point, i thot that should be the general opinion around.
so i came home, and i found out that wl held a different opinion, and he felt that pl would go for snco in june. right. you know, when you are at a meeting representing your group, and you are actually not the boss in the group, yet you are supposed to air views that rep your group? professionally, u can't say, i dunno, cos i am not the highest rank or most senior. again, if you keep quiet, then what's the real point of going to a meeting to discuss things? okie so i am of a certain rank though not the highest, it would be weird if i kept quiet rightz. well, so am i right to air my opinion? i guess i should, just that i should just say it's my personal opinion. my flaw, i didn't say that loh. so basically, even if u have a certain rank, u can't really say that it's definitely my corps' stand on things, because there are so many people above you. so what's the rank for, i wonder. unless u are the CEO, you can say this is what my company wants. if u are MD, just say, this is my opinion, i think this should be the way. really. manz. the world works like that.
this sem is a most tiring semester. i got 3 core subjects, 3 project groups that is. 1 chosen, which i had to play a strategy game together with. i spent 3 hours arguing at a grpmate's house about what are our real intentions, our strategy etc. we didn't finish and continued online for 3 hours the next day. i am already exhausted from all these, it's just like she wants everything her way and doesn't plan everything in line with the strategy that we have agreed on. so that's a perfect arguing group, and goodness i have done that for 2 weeks(i.e. 2 rounds), cos we have to argue every round about all the numbers to put in for team's input on the game.
the second group was like, the perfect elite group. smart, outspoken people. right. so actually 3 of them are closer to each other, and 1 of them likes to whisper to another person about blahblahblah goodness knows what in front of everyone in the group. i find that action irritating, cos' if it's for discussion, just tell everyone. if it's not, we can share the sidetrack thing together. she was in my group last sem for another subject, but luckily we dun have meetings often so i ignored it, but it's still damn irritating. and so much for elite group, when they changed the company we were doing for project over the weekend, NOBODY told me a thing. i only got to know when they have changed the company and got ready the second proposal for submission on monday. fine, i thot it was just, u know, they forgot, and they were busy trying to find a new company cos the previous one flopped on friday. today the contact person in our group for the company, was saying the company refused to give us the SOP blahblah, confidential blahblah. and she went with another of my grpmate and asked the tutor about it, and thanks, we didn't know a thing la. nobody said anything like that, and if we didn't like go up to see what was going on with her and the tutor, we would never have known.
now all these made me quite detest this feeling, i am in the group, and you dun wanna tell me a thing. is it cos' i am not as smart, or cos' i am insignificant, or cos' u dun even feel that my existence is worth a cent? even if i can't tell u the solution, at least tell me right. for that, i have a mild feeling for my sj post in the camp in dec. so being the deputy camp chief, basically everything goes through the camp chief. sometimes i dunno some things, or i am not the first or one of the first to know, makes me feel that i am quite an extra post hanging around. i know it's not cos' they dun wanna send me, maybe they forgot, and seriously going through another person is really inefficient. so makes me feel like my job is quite in name only.
so exactly, what am i doing now? being in too smart a grp, pple think i am too dumb and useless. airing my views is either tiring cos i have the argue so long for a very simple thing, or i am in no position to represent anyone. manz. for the first time k, i think that working in my uni main comm is more enjoyable than any of these.

Yoz. I shall add on to my list earlier on... bored as usual. I dun wanna study!!
More wish lists:
- perhaps a cooler for my dear laptop. I am scared it will explode if I leave it on to download stuff for more than 2-3 days.
- a pair of sony ear plugs tt is those with smaller cushions that can stick inside the ear better. eh, i dunno if it's noise cancelling, i only noe it's abt 60 bucks. haaa. black is preferred, so that if it gets super dirty, nobody will see! (now u noe why i like black handphones, better dun hold my phone next time, u dunno how dirty it is!)
- a dummy that looks like me so that it can replace me at project meetings haha!
Can't think of anything. got some stuff to do liaoz. BYE!

Yo! I am bored and lazy to study and do homework. So I shall start my birthday wish list before anyone buys anything. haha. Don't need to buy something from the list, I welcome surprise and creative stuff! Haha (I damn thick skinned)
Please do not buy me skirts, I have so many, though it's all knee length, but there's just too many! Eh, advisable not to buy any soft toys, my bed is overflowing! haha.
Things that perhaps you can consider:
- Long tops (on the search for long tops that is not too tight, trying to change my wardrobe to more feminine siaz. But this is tough, I am fatz so hard to find exact fit)
- Hooked, dangling earrings (plenty of studs, keep wearing the same few dangling, haha, cos the ones I like all very ex i.e. above 6 bucks)
- Cardigan (Bored of my dark blue mega size one)
- Handbag (realised I don't really have any except for the rectangular black one that I bring along when I wear formal wear)
- A super memory brain (arhh tml got advanced theory driving and I am not halfway thru, and I can't remember!)
- An intelligent teddy bear that does all my AA205 homework for online submissions like twice a week.
- A boyfriend. Haha!
- Dress? Don't have any except for a white one from my jc classmates last time. But not many dresses fit me well cos I am fatz.
- Swimming lessons next semester (cos' all the projects and driving lessons are driving me nuts this sem)

Okie. Now I got this time to talk about National Day when I saw Serene's blog post about our nation's birthday.
I haven't been watching National Day for perhaps the past 2-3 years, including this year. Reason being, everyone is so busy, and National Day is a public holiday that seems like a perfect day to meet up, even though NDP is on TV etc.
So for this year, I went out with my uni clique, and it was pretty cool, almost like watching NDP, in a different sense. We didn't see all those contingents, parade commander and audience shouting and choir singing. We didn't hear the nice national songs, see the displays by the students in the centre, nor join in everyone singing the national anthem. But I still think we got a pretty spectacular view. Where did we go?
We went to Boat Quay to eat dinner, and sat at a table just next to Singapore River, and the view was one that was overlooking the Fullerton Hotel and the Asian Civilisation Museum. You may wonder what is so great about those buildings, it's not those buildings, but the stadium that is located behind those buildings. We saw all the sky effects of NDP, starting from the parachuters with their beautiful red smoke descending into the stadium, the helicopter carrying the national flag (which flew past over our heads, cool), more parachuters with the lights descending at night, all those fighter jets that flew with the smoke making patterns and having great coordination in the air. Display of the aircrafts of Singapore Air Force, and of course, the fireworks! No big crowd, happily sitting there to watch the scene, and eating Thai food. Cool isn't it? I think I will go back next year. Haha.
Oh yeah, I should watch out for the re-telecast of the NDP, dunno if it's over yet. Then I can say I have watched it on tv, and the real thing too!

Oh no. Latest article in the newspaper today has stated that Odex, who sells anime in VCDs (note: I think they sell those in silver boxes), has taken action against people who downloads anime. Basically from what I gather after reading about a dozen websites, they catch people who downloads by bittorrent. But of course, I guess nobody should take any chance doing any direct downloading either. Basically you get fined for 5k per anime downloaded, and they track you for all the downloads that you do since March this year.
According to a post made by someone in one of the websites, stopping the downloading/torrenting now does not protect you, cos' the person that made the post stopped since July, and still got a letter from Odex. But of course, if you are still downloading, you should stop now to reduce the liability in case they decide to send ya a letter, choy choy.
Anyway, after reading some websites, people has expressed concern over the issue of human rights and privacy as StarHub and SingTel currently gives the names of the IP addresses that Odex asked for to get the identity of the downloaders. Basically, they managed to secure a court order to get these names, which is quite expected, cos' the law stands on the side that downloaders are wrong. I guess there's not much of a say about human rights and privacy, like when you broke the law, or suspected of having broken the law, the police are allowed to track all those internet trails and stuff, I think even if you say "I love you" to your boyfriend on MSN, they can track it. And after they track the IP address, to find the culprit they have to find the name of the address also. So downloaders have broken the law, and Odex do have the right to go get the names. I don't think this has anything to do with human rights, as for privacy, whatever you do online, you should know that there's no privacy already.
So for all anime fans out there, I guess the suggestions made by the various blogs and websites are quite sufficient. Well, the law is the law, although the quality of anime sold by Odex are really poor, (I have 2 boxes of their anime in my house. 1 bought and 1 given to my brother as present) there's nothing we can do about it yeah. So to carry on watching anime, the best way is watch online. If you wanna keep anime, one way is to buy from a company that sells higher quality anime from overseas. Another is get your overseas friend who is in a country that is not strict about this and download, burn and mailed over. Anyway, my suggestions for these is not that I wanna boycott Odex (seriously many fans are so irritated so they say boycott it. I was irritated too, but wellz), it's more cos' I guess there's no point buying low quality anime for such a high price. Don't waste money, buy better quality from overseas.
I heard that the company is like going into higher quality stuff, selling dvds. Hrm, the last time I saw a Bleach DVD, it's like VERY ex. Last time it was like 10 episodes, for about 30 bucks. I forgot how much was the DVD, but it's more ex than that. Anyway, Naruto is not on their list, but I wouldn't take the risk. Naruto is currently distributed by Blue Max, their quality is quite good. (I have 9 boxes of them, so I know) And besides, Blue Max is my favourite VCD/DVD store =P.
Don't be too sad, anime lovers. But I think I would miss the great quality fansubbed episodes. Thanks to all fansubbers who worked so hard. It's cos' of you that I love anime.

Momoko-chan & the Passport renewal
Today was a great an exciting day at the ICA building. Let's see, we shall start with how I began my day. I woke up 11+am this morning (hey i got home at 3+am yesterday, so i am not that late!), read a little of my storybookz, and headed out to photocopy 4 chapters of my textbook. Hrm, the reason for photocopying was cos' the book is like perhaps 5-6cm thick, and I didn't want to have to bring that thick book to school for lessons. Okie, that's not the real reason. The real reason is cos' I 'accidentally' sold the book to someone without checking that it was needed for my module this semester =S. So before I turn the book over on Monday to my buyer, I guess I better make a photocopy of the 4 chapters I need.
Hrm, then I went over to 328 Katong Laksa to eat er... laksa. Haha. Here comes the real adventure. I went to ICA Building to collect my passport, had to renew it cos' it's expiring soon. When I reached there it was like, the whole audience from NDP was there. Haha. So crowded, it's almost hard to move around. Struggled to get my queue number, the time then was 2pm, and guess what, when I looked at the electronic boards with all the numbers, it was like... my number was 4137. And the latest range of numbers on the board was 3000+. Hrm, a thousand people in front of me in the queue, a THOUSAND????
My best idea was to go to the cafeteria downstairs to grab a nice cup of coffee, sit there and read. But alas! No space there. Headed over to the coffee shop 5 minutes away. Went back to the building at about 3pm, still far from my number. By 3.20pm I had finished my book, and the number was 3500+, so by estimation I guess I will have about 1.25hours more to wait at the very least. Decided to hop on a bus to Bugis, return my book at the library, and borrow another. Wow. Took me about an hour to and forth, and cool, the number was just at 3800+. Sat down and read my book, finally at 4.50pm, the number turned 4000+ and I decided to station myself nearer to the super crowded room for passport collection. Finally got my passport at like 5.10pm.
I got my queue number at like 2pm, I wondered what about those people who got their number at 4pm? The building was supposed to be closed at 5pm. haha. The place was still very crowded when I left. Oh well. Taught me not to do anything at the ICA building on a day after National day, where every other family decides to take leave and go there for passports and stuff.
Oh yeah, if you do meet up with this kinda situation, I guess it's pretty safe to walk over to Bugis for a nice cup of coffee, look at the library collection and come back later. Better than squeezing with the families at the building, all camping near the collection room, sitting on the floor. It's like queuing for NDP tickets or something you know.

rem the always very blur momo.
what happened today: i met my roomie out for dinner at bugis, after some shopping after food we went home together (since we both stay in the same area). guess what happened. we were chit chatting, taking the mrt home. when we reached the next stop, it was city hall. right, we took the west train instead of the east train... manz, we crossed over the platform to take the next train home, guess wad. when we reached the next stop, it was dhoby ghaut! dear me. lol. forgot that the train across city hall's platform don't go in the opposite direction... LOL.
and then we went across the platform of dhoby ghaut again to take to city hall. and went across city hall's platform to take a train towards pasir ris. yes, we verified carefully before we took the next train across the platform again, but this time it was all right. haha.
so, if u dun wanna take the escalator to the next platform to go east after being on the wrong train to the west at city hall, maybe u can try crossing the platform 3 times to get the right train. trust me, you will get the right train, cos' i tried it. haha!

HEY!
you noe right, today I boarded the bus 100 from opposite my office building, and guess what?
I saw the bus interior, the walls, the ceiling, is lined with red cushion (the red you see on the pic on top of my blog).... and the bus have sofa like seats at the sides. The middle is wider for more people to stand, and nearer to the front of the bus, there are 2 seats like in a bar like that, cushioned and slightly higher chair, coupled with with a 'table top' fixed to the side of the bus, like the bar counter. Though the top is just the normal plastic material as on any other bus, but it's a whole new experience! Imagine sitting in a bus that looks like a bar or posh restaurant. It's damn cool isn't it?
Hey I am not bluffing u, it's real! If not for the bus so crowded I may have taken a pic or 2. But the bad thing is, while sitting down, cos' the middle lane is stuffed with people, I was sitting on the side away from the alighting door, I couldn't really see the bus stop, so I almost alighted a stop after. But still, it's quite a innovative idea on the part of SBS.

wearing contacts is really quite shuang. although sometimes it feels a bit dry in the aircon, but yeah, just blink a little should be fine. if not, there's always eye drops. but besides that, it's comfortable... so cool to not have your vision restricted to the square glasses, and sometimes i am so afraid it is so comfortable tt i will fall asleep with them on. lol.
but yeah, it's ex. but quite okie, perhaps when i get the permanent pieces it won't be so ex. somehow i really think i am better looking with them on, haha, esp after getting the super plastic pink specs, i prefer wearing contacts nowadays. hrm, finally thinking you are better looking also emits some confidence somehow. haa. and finally when people say 'hey u grew prettier', u would think it's true and not think of it just as another sentence that is said for the sake of saying it. lol. i have also become quite thick-skinned yeah? but nvm, it's not important that i really look better, as long i think i look better can le. =P (i am starting to sound like yvonne chio)
okie, still thinking whether should i go to the bike hike recce, if yes need to cancel my saturday appointments. haa, really wanna cycle, but then all the seniors so fit, i think if i go i might lag loh. and also cos' it's on a friday night after work at night, then overnight. still considering... since i am getting so fat without exercise, but wonder if that's a good time to do so...
alright... my mum sponsored the jiayou jinshun dvd... 34 bucks at the GSS. not too bad, dvd somemore. just that the quality maybe a bit not so good, but on normal size 29 inch tv it looks still alright, just that saw on fish's big tv, it seems quite bad. so sometimes a small tv also not bad. haha! my 14 inch laptop is also gd for watching dvd, since i can hide in my aircon room and watch, and i can watch whenever and till whenever i want. LOL. only dvd player in the living room, with my dad's only scv connected sports channels, so can't hog.
realised when i rebond my hair shouldn't cut so little and keep it so long, if i don't cut it for a year it would prob reach my butt. LOL. but oops. nvm lah, i like this length now. cutting shall leave to next time.

Haiz. I am totally broke.
Fri went to play pool and Haigen Daiz for coffee.
Sat went to watch movie "Ocean's Thirteen" and Coffee Club for coffee.
Sun went to eat Cafe Cartel and Starbucks for coffee.
Monday went to eat Sakae Sushi.
Fri-Sun, came home at 12 - 1 am.
I am tired of going out. I am broke. I am trying to avoid caffeine. (don't ask me why, but a cafe is the only place pple goes to chill after dinner or stuff. with the exception of a pub perhaps?)
Friday was sianz and went out to chill and relax.
Sat wanted to hang out with my fellow SJ seniors, since I missed their meeting on Friday due to work and didn't go out to chill with them often.
Sun had to go class outing for JC class cos' my classmate came back from USA.
Mon went to meet up my dear roomie cos' I haven't met her for a month and rejected her invitation to go out twice.
Okie. I go out at least 3-4 times per week for the past 2-3 weeks. I don't really mind, but cash is running out real fast. I just spent 200+ on my new contacts, 100+ on business attire for work, and plus all these going outs, I think I may survive if I eat hawker centre everyday, keep my expenditure to 3-5 bucks per day. I haven't got to the end of the month to get my pay for June, so now I am into the deficit of my savings, used up my August's pocket money (June and July no money cos' working).
So, start getting a piggy bank, or make one cheaper. And start eating maggie mee for the rest of June and July. Hrm, and stay home till end of July, except to watch Fantastic Four, Nancy Drew and Harry Potter. And to buy the book 7 of Harry Potter, and hopefully if I can save enough, to get the Jiayou Jin Shun! VCD. Surely I will tide over this, money is really not enough. sighz.

started my job attachment already... haha, shall skip that for now.
was surfing the website when i came across some interesting stuff. may interest those who watch/reads naruto. haa, came across the meaning of their names at this website: http://www.narutocentral.com/information/name-meanings/
you know what? hatake kakashi actually means 'field' and 'scarecrow' respectively. so it actually means scarecrow in a field. HAHA. that's super funny.

yo! today i had a total change of look! okie. not much change, i got my contact lens and rebonded my hair... i thought i would look different that nobody will recognise me!!! but i went to bugis with my new look after doing my hair, and i saw a classmate (the guy that mitch likes. how come i keep running into him!!!) and he recognised me. so. haha, not much change after all.
i ordered new specs, totally plastic framez, pinkish transparent frame. cos' my astig degree went up by quite a lot. might as well get specs too. after all can't rely on contacts only. i guess tt one i wear le i would look more different.
women really spend a lot on beautifying themselves isn't it? i bought a lipstick (pink!) today, eh, for work lah, cos i think my red one like abit too red, so weird to wear that to work everyday starting next week. i bought mascara, in celebration of new contact lens, finally can see the lashes! (no longer hidden by spectacles.) so you can guess how much i spent today on lens, specs, lipstick, mascara, hair. nearly my one month's pocket money liao i guess.
my fears and dislikes about contacts before:
- it's damn scary to put it in and take it out. you have to touch the eyeball or something?!?!
- my eyes can't stop blinking and closing even when i put eye drops, how in the hell to put LENS in?
- my roomie say she can't study with contacts on, too uncomfortable. arh, if liddat i buy contacts bu shi waste money!
- it's so mah fan! and cannot fall asleep with it on. extra prep time before school and sleep.
why i suddenly decide to get contacts after so many years of rejecting the idea?
- nothing significant, cos' suddenly during exams i felt i look more chio without specs.
- stupid reason, my strongest reason, cos i like the feeling of no specs balancing on my nose (it's heavy leh) and i like to feel the breeze of the aircon on my upper cheek.
my good thoughts about contacts after putting them on for half a day:
- i finally can feel the breeze!~ damn shuang to have nothing in front of your eyes after 10 years of specs, yet can see clearly!
- actually i dun feel the lens also, only a bit at times, not VERy uncomfortable lah, just a bit blurry today, maybe cos' of the new degree like every other new specs. especially in air con places, i dun feel the lens at all!! like i got perfect vision!! (haa, i am aircon freak, so that's great!)
- feel like opening your eyes bigger, quite nice feeling, tend to not open your eyes so big with specs, dunno why, maybe cos i am restricted by the frame (it's longish rectangular, this shape suits me best)
- feel more confident? dunno yet. a bit maybe.
my bad thoughts:
- takes some time as a 'new challenger' to put in and remove the lens, but i guess will get used to it somehow...
- troublesome still, need to wash the lens, wash the casing... but haa. guess i will get used to it.
anyway, i bought the contacts for one month only, testing period, if i like i will order permanent, cos' my monthly contacts is very ex with the astig. haa.
my next beautifying aim: do a facial... forehead too many white heads...

argh. i am completely pissed off. first my dad comes crashing into my room twice to ask for the cordless house phone. i told him that if it's there, it's there. if it's not, then it's not in my room.
next my mum comes storming into the room and ask for the same thing, accuses me that i misplaced it after use. what the hell, i almost never use the house phone, and even if i do call i usually do so using the phone with the cord, unless i am in my room i will use cordless. so obviously if the dumb phone is not in my room, then i have nothing to do with the disappearance dammit. and she comes in to accuse me by shouting, and no evidence, saying that i was home all day yesterday and today, so i must be the one to misplace it since she didn't touch it all day today. what kinda warped theory is that.
well i might have forgot that i used the phone anytime today, though i dun remember, but i hate people storming into the room shouting at me for no good reason. so i went to look for it. and guess where it was, in her son's room, on his bed. so why didn't they check it at first? cos' he booked in to camp two days ago.
and so why were they so anxious for the phone? cos' they are waiting for their son's call from camp every night as usual, and they wanna keep the phone in their room so that they can hear the phone ringing (since our rooms are air-conditioned). so anxious to hear from their son, every night somemore mind you, might as well go NS with him. and due to their enormous egos as usual, they didn't even apologise for what they did.
so they think i am some kinda chu1 qi4 tong3 when my brother is not around, when they come home so irritated from work.... no wonder my brother gets so irritated everyday from all these crap when he was home.
after u read this, you can safely say i am jealous of all the care that they show my brother, in fact i think they are spoiling him. helping him polish boots, what kind of theory is that. to think that i say all those kids in sj are so spoilt nowadays, my parents are spoiling him as much as those sec1 and 2 kids. i am totally disgusted.

Ouran High School Host Club
It is a really dumb anime, after reading my review, you would probably decide not to watch such a dumb show, but trust me, try the first 2 episodes, and you would want to watch till the end!
The settings is in a school called Ouran High School, a school for rich kids cos' the fees are very expensive. So basically all the kids in there are like from prestigious families, or rich families, and most are an heir to some mega enterprise or something. They go to classes according to how rich and how clever they are, so if they are both rich and clever, they will be in the A class. D class would be the worse.
So this story is about a host club, consisting of a lot of handsome looking guys, whose primary purpose is to entertain girls, make them happy and profit off them. The show says that this activity is unique to the school, cos' only the rich girls are free to do these kinda stuff, and only rich guys are free to do something as bo liao as entertaining girls. Within the story, they have a lot of extravagant stuff as they are all rich kids, the first funny thing in the first episode you would probably be laughing your head off about is that the rich guys in the host club never seen and drank nescafe (instant mix) before. Reason being, they always drank coffee made from ground coffee beans. HAHA.
So the plot is about Haruhi, who is a 'commoner' (a.k.a poor), who got into Ouran with a scholarship. As she's a special case, she's put in class A. So one day she barges into the club room of the host club accidentally, and accidentally broke a 8 million yen vase. In order to repay her debt, she was enrolled into host club, cos' the guys in the club mistook her for a guy due to her sloppy appearance and her wearing guys clothes in the beginning and all... (cos' she has no money to buy the expensive school uniform, she borrowed her dad's clothes to make it close to the school uniform. HAHA) And so the story unfolds, many funny things happens... And a very small element of love story...
The manga is ongoing still, and I can't wait for the second season of the anime to come out. And the book volume 10 to come out too!!! ARHHH! It's just so funny!
For the avid downloaders, you can torrent the show from here: http://www.animesuki.com/series.php/791.html
Enjoy!

Enjoy!
just dropping by... was busy mugging for my last 2 papers... but all is done now... though taxation paper was a flop, hopefully i get a B at least...
spent the last two days going out... slacking etc...
on the day that i ended exam, was so tired, so didn't really enjoy going out... though i went to eat jap food, pool and kbox (all my favourite!) haha. the night before slept at 3am, woke up at 6.30am for exam, in between woke up at 4plus am... though during exam period usually i can't get to sleep at night... but that day was the worse (i.e. the last day of exams). fortunately i wasn't dozing off during exams, was pretty alert like i do in camps when i only get a few hours of sleep...
at first i thought the sleeplessness was just stress from exams as usual... then after that i thought maybe cos' my spring mattress can feel the springs nowadays, disturbing my sleep... but after the last exams, i came back, i slept very soundly for 11 hours... haha, so it's the stress after all. save my money on buying a new mattress...
after i went out with my friends at marina square to play and eat, i still went by myself to bugis to buy comics from kino. Ouran High School Host Club, otherwise known as Ouran Koukou Host Club. It's a fantastic anime and manga manz... I started and finished watching the anime 3 days before my tax exam (which probably explains my bad performance haha), it's very funny!! i continued chasing the story reading the manga, and i still laughed at the same jokes even though i watched them in the anime. After that I decided to buy some alcohol (long island iced tea) as alcohol is supposed to stimulate blood circulation, maybe i can finally get some good sleep. but of course i didn't get to use it and the problem was solved. it's still in my refrigerator. haha.
okie, i shall talk more about ouran in the next post. =)

haha, somehow blogs get unusually active during exam periods. i guess it's needless to say why.
got this weird thing in my ntu email... we are supposed to go for some photo taking so that they can make a resume for employers to search for us in a resume database. the interesting thing is the stuff we are supposed to adhere to for the photo taking:
Please observe the following when you come for your photo-taking:
Faces must not be oily and spectacles must not have smudges on them
Ladies are strongly encouraged to put on some light make-up, particularly lipstick
Your hair must be neat and well-combed; unusual hair styles which are not business-like or colored hair should also be avoided
Gentlemen must be attired in a light colored long sleeve shirt with a well-knotted tie; business jackets are preferred
Ladies must wear a jacket (preferably not black) with a blouse or camisole
1. I can't control how much oil on my face ma!! liddat i must bring oil blotter or wash my face in school>??
2. unusual hairstyles. haha. i wonder what kind.
3. wah liewz. no black jackets. so mah fan. i only have black and dark brown. too badz.
ok. it's cos' i chao sian from mugging and i got 1 hour left to study 4 tutorials, have been mugging 7 tutorials for the past 3 hours, so i kinda criticise everything. yikes. crappy photo taking, i must travel all the way to ntu after exams to take a photo. well done. plus a full business suit somemore. arh!!! and i must pay. the costs add up nearly 10 bucks including travelling. dotz.
ok. stop procrastinating. haha.

haha. You must be wondering, this woman doesn't update for months, and suddenly make so many updates in 1 day. haha, count it towards making up for the invisible entries that I didn't type during the months...
I was showering and suddenly thought (I always think about the most absurd things in showers, I like to think in showers. Somehow you think better.) about a phrase that I said in front of my relatives when I was very young. Perhaps in kindergarden, I was. Or primary school. I said that women don't need men to survive, we can be independent and earn our own living and be as capable as men. Haha. Perhaps the latter is true.
Then I was thinking, can women really live without men, i.e. without getting married? Yes of course, but I think that would be very lonely. Humans are social creatures, so that would probably be a torture. It's because now at this age of 21, we have our own family, our friends, even without boyfriends, we can survive and live our lives the normal way. But when you reach the age of 40, how many friends will there be to be by your side all the time? They will be married, with their own jobs and families to worry about. Parents, they can't be with you forever. It will be quite boring, I thought.
Take my mother for example. She works, come home to cook for me, then watch tv, and sleep. She hardly goes out with friends. And there are hardly phone calls, it is quite rare, but she talks for an hour when one comes. So it's true that everyone is busy with their own lives.
So is that why most people get married? To curb loneliness? Maybe. We were all brought up to think that people get married cos' they love each other. But on second thoughts, actually you can still continue loving each other even without getting married right?
Life is so complicated isn't it? But that's the fun of living!

Haha. back to my own topic of what happened in the past 1.5 months or so... Actually was just busy piaing my projects. Manz, this semester even without SJ is crazy with projects. Almost every day of my calendar is filled with a project meeting haha. I was so happy on the day I handed in my last project of the semester, which was less than 1 week away from my first exam. The feeling... I am free! The feeling of freedom, not being burdened by projects, and I can finally focus on my exams. I was so happy that I was very motivated to study for my exams that day. Haha. And I studied alot.
Today was unproductive... I just finished 2 exams yesterday. First time I have 2 exams in one day. Quite taxing, but quite satisfying after I finished them all. Maybe also because my first paper wasn't too good, and the second one was super good. Of course, cos' my second paper is my environmental elective, easier than my core subject in the morning. So it's still a beautiful day cos' it ended with a nice paper. Haha.
Anyway paiseh to esthie, haven't been able to talk to you much after your last second post. Will be when I see ya online next time... You must be quite busy with studies too... Jiayou! I support ya. Anything just drop me an email or offline msg on MSN... =)
Okie that's all, everyone jiayou for your exams!

Hello, long time no see again.
Wanted to blog 2 nights ago, but apparently was too busy studying for the exams on the next day.
Was reading esthie's blog today. Quite interesting situation you have there. Reminds me of a situation. Remember once I was so unhappy about a classmate? She and I are in the same university now. I study acc, she double major in business and acc. So you can say we see each other quite often. Somehow, I don't quite dislike as I did in the past. After all, everything is in the past liao. Nowadays, sometimes I will say hi, sometimes we just walk past without saying anything to each other. At first, I just ignored her existence and walked on. She did the same. After that I thought it's a bit weird, cos' we know each other, then just walking past without saying hi even seems like so jialat liddat. So gradually I say hi at times, but she also look quite 'mian qiang' when she had to say hi back. So sometimes I just kept quiet and pretend I didn't see her.
Haha, because we were classmates, sometimes, when there are class gatherings, I will think about should I go? Will she go? Will it be very weird? Well, it's again on impulse. Usually for my usual class, they don't have gatherings, it is my ex JC class that I had in the first three months, which she is also in, cos' my ex-class is really close. I want to go, yet afraid what's going to happen if we don't talk to each other. Everytime I will take the chance and go. Somehow dunno is by chance or what, she didn't turn up. Kinda lucky or what, I also dunno. Just wondering what would happen if she did turn up.
Sometimes it's interesting how things turn out. Though we weren't really friends, guess pretending not to know each other at all is quite extreme, like we are major enemies liddat. Life is so interesting isn't it? Just some thoughts, nothing is lost not talking to her anyway. Reminds me of the situation like those korean shows I watch, the situation between 2 love rivals. Haha.

heyo!!
I am backz! After a million years, after the festive season of CNY. It's too late to say, but anyway, happy CNY! I had an almost 15 day holidays.. abt 12. But spent my last wk of mid sem break going back to school to do project. haha.
Yeah! Today is a day worth celebrating. I handed in 2 reports, had 1 presentation and 1 quiz today! My gosh, I can't believe that I survived this. 1 report and 1 presentation was on the same case. My group came back 3 days last week to do this project. We started before CNY! Manz, by Saturday, I was so sian diao of the case liaoz, cos we keep arguing about their points and shooting ourselves questions. Cos' the presentation is mostly about being shot questions by other people and the teacher. Today wasn't too bad, didn't get shot some very unique question that we totally stunned about. Guess we shot ourselves too much beforehand. LOL.
Interview at EY was quite bad last week. Guess I didn't really want that department for internship, so didn't show much enthusiasm. Haiz. Should have chosen tax. If I don't get chosen I shall try for IRAS. lol. Internal audit turns out to be about analysing business risks etc, similar to a course on financial management that I studied before, like investments and stocks alike stuff. Manz, I hated that topic the most. Should have done some research before I replied EY.
Okie. The other report that I handed in today... I started reading the research material I got from online on Saturday night. And finished Sunday's afternoon, i.e. yesterday. Not too bad. Took about 7-8 hours to settle the report. It's about the impacts of eutrophication on marine environmental quality. Quite interesting. Lol. I should have studied environmental engineering. But physics, yikes.
Quiz on taxation. My gosh, I was still at a loss of how to compute some tax stuff, tax computation for assessable income. Okie, sounds foreign right? Never mind, just think of it as something like the financial statements. Or a list of stuff, think which to plus, which to minus, to arrive at a number - the income to be taxed! Although it sounds like math, manz, we have to look at the tax law to determine whether to add or minus k! I wished they provided that they want us to add or minus, then it would be like primary sch math. haha. Pon 2 hours of seminar and snugged away in the library to mug for my quiz. Was mugging for 4 hours. Lol. Just to learn how to plus and minus.
Okie, there goes. I feel accomplished! Super fruitful day - or is it week? Haha. Holidays all gone for projects. Even cancelled and rejected all appointments during the week, except to go out with my dear esthie who is leaving for aust.. =P
Tough? I think, this is some training. Cos' I think, this is the life of an accountant.

MIA so long again. Super super busy in school now, not even time for SJ work. Haven't even started my main comm work, I think it's really the wrong sem to take on so many stuff. Seems like I underestimated my core modules this semester.
So many things to read. Some modules just seem like there is nothing taught, you are supposed to read up, do your questions and discuss in class. Oh well, this is how a real university works I guess, just that we have been spoonfed all the time till now, so I am just a little not too used to it.
Today very sianz. Not cos' hall very sianz, or sianz cos' a lot of schoolwork. Cos' I typed a portion for my project, and my groupmate changed practically everything. Okie loh, I have to admit it wasn't very well organised, but then no need change all my points right... Out of 10 points, maybe left 1 point only... My language is not that good, my ideas not that fantastic, but changing without even telling me first... Haiz. So now, I feel like a free-rider. Most probably I get the feeling that some of my groupmates think that way. And it's not very nice, though tomorrow have to hand in the report liaoz, but I have one more report and presentation to do with them.
Sianz, and my points written out so long liaoz, she also never criticise, then last minute change. Sad life, am I supposed to feel angry that she changed it just like that, or am I supposed to blame myself cos' I didn't do a good enough job? Or am I supposed to feel so idiotic cos' it seems that my points are all dumb and got replaced? So I am dumb maybe. I am feeling all of that together now.
And after reading her editted version, seems like it was too last minute, she like added some stuff from the 'answer we found online'. Yikes, I hate copying stuff. But I don't feel like complaining liaoz, cos' there will be too many people who insist on their points liao, then the group will end up in a bad state. Just hurry up and finish the project, I would never want to do project with her again.
So extreme hor. Seems like everytime I work in a group that is allocated, not own choice one, always got some buay song 'ness' with some people. Maybe it's me loh. Only my accounting II group is great, but that's cos' both of them don't really insist a lot on their points, rather, they provide opinions... So izzit liddat then our project got B+ instead of A? Aiyah, I rather have a good working experience and get B, than have the opposite and get A.
So sianz. Haiz.
So many things to read. Some modules just seem like there is nothing taught, you are supposed to read up, do your questions and discuss in class. Oh well, this is how a real university works I guess, just that we have been spoonfed all the time till now, so I am just a little not too used to it.

Lol. It's so bad for the blogger to be MIA from her blog. But you guys seemed to be having much fun on my shoutbox! haha. That's a pretty good sign.
Alright, so I shall update you on my MIA period: the hectic and crazy December.
Timeline:
1-7 Dec - Taiwan Trip
9&10 Dec - SNCO Course
11&13 Dec - JNCO Pre-Camp Training
15-18 Dec - SNCO
20-23 Dec - JNCO
27-30 Dec - Seniors Chalet
31 Dec - Countdown
Woah what a packed December! One by one.
Taiwan Trip
Oh well. Taiwan wasn't exactly the shopping paradise that I thought it would be. Perhaps HK is a better place =p The stuff are quite ex actually, but yesh, there are loads of clothes like those at Bugis. Totally the leader in fashion today, Taiwan is. But you know, I am not those super-clothes-shopper. And it is a very packed trip, in these 6-7 days, I went all over Taiwan: Taipei, Taichung, Gaoshiung, Taitung, Hualien. Basically one round round Taiwan. I stayed one night per city. So you know, it's PACKED. Wake up at about 6 plus in the morning everyday, reach back hotel on average 10pm or so each night. Later if we go to night markets of course. I didn't buy much, but I think I spent about 100 bucks there. Even shopping places, we stop for 1 hour or so. How to shop? Lol. I never like such packed tours, but my mum likes to tour the whole place. *shrugs.
So in between, I got my dear uni classmates Yvonne and co to help me register for my subjects on the noon of 7 Dec cos I am not in Singapore! Thank you girls! And my dear roomie Yian Pin help me collect my hostel room key from the office too! As you can see, I think I have no time in December for such stuff. LOL.
SNCO Course
Quite bored. I am Admin Officer only, so guess what? I was trying to settle all my paperwork in the canteen while lectures are ongoing in the AVT. See, no time to do it outside of this time anyway. =p The most ultra shocking thing that ever happened was: by the end of the SNCO Course, I realise I wasn't just an Admin Officer. JY decided to rope me in to his platoon to be his Assistant Platoon Commander. Manz. I was super lost, but I wanted to go. Cos' it's for the kids that there is an extra person to manage the advisors, secondly it was out of selfish desires cos' I always wanted to be an advisor in SNCO, only to end up being Admin Officer cos' the oldest advisor was one year younger than me. Thirdly was cos' I wanted to gain some experience, since I was Chief Team Advisor in JNCO. I took on the job, double post.
JNCO Pre-camp Training
Nothing much to say, just that I knew the kids a little more, and was the first time perhaps that I talked face-to-face with my advisors instead of through email.
SNCO
SNCO was a little crazy for me, cos' I run 2 appointments? I was supposed to hand over my Admin stuff to my superior (DY Course Commandant Admin) so that I can take my APC post full time in camp. So pre-camp I was rushing to do up everything properly and handing over accounts etc. Till I was supposed to meet fish for lunch and I didn't, worked till 3-4pm in the afternoon without lunch. As someone who suddenly chup into a platoon, I was quite lost. It is quite an experience, cos' APC is really different from CTA in a way, CTA only cares about how the advisors are doing, and perhaps know a bit more about the trainees. APC seems to be in charge of that, and fix the training schedule along with the changes, and know quite a lot about the trainees at the same time. Seriously, I really dunno all of them very well, and you know my super forgetful memory, I think by now I already forgot who is in my platoon. After SNCO I was pretty demoralised cos' I felt I didn't do a good job as a APC, but I knew I have to pick myself up within a day to be CTA in the next camp.
JNCO
Seems like CTA has as little sleep as the advisors. But actually I think I slept more than them anyway. Cos while they are assessing cadets, I think I was sleeping. LOL. I think JNCO I feel more in control, cos' I was heading the advisors, whereas SNCO there is still a PC(kongz) and 2 other APCs around me. Somehow when you are in total control, you can do whatever you think is right, and have a set of what is right and a common direction to bring the people under you forward. Perhaps I feel lost about the direction etc in SNCO. I think I did an okie job there in JNCO, and I somehow knew quite a bit about those kids, even though I didn't really come in contact with them a lot. Hearing my advisors talk plus some observations here and there, and maybe cos' I had contact with them since JNCO Course. It was a tiring camp, but there is much satisfaction to be gained.
All the weird sleeping habits came, perhaps cos' it was the second camp and I was tired. I think on the last day of camp, I fell asleep reading the assessment forms in the ops room, and Sheryl said that no matter how they called or tap me I won't wake up. Haa. First time I was so dead asleep in front of them I guess. At least this was better than the last time during JNCO while I was still an instructor, I couldn't remember how I got sleeping on the third floor classroom to become in the fourth floor classroom. My squadmates said I just got up and followed them up to the 4th floor which was our bunk, but I couldn't remember a thing! Guess that was sleepwalking?
Seniors Chalet
Aloha Loyang is BIG. The first bigggg mistake: the chalet was supposed to be 27-29 Dec, but it was booked from 28-30 Dec. BIG mistake. I wasn't there on the 27th, cos I intended to join them at night. Come on, after so many camps etc, I wanted to stay home more. at about 6pm, dear Huawei called me about the mistake. So I went to join them anyway, at karaoke at Katong Shopping Centre. It seemed that the Seniors' cohort is too big to squeeze into 1 room, 26 of us. so we split. We sang 4 hours and paid about 4 bucks each. (ok we didn't pay, it was sponsored by school fund or something.) We had a hell lot of fun shouting in the rooms. LOL.
Anyway, what happened at Pasir Ris before I joined them? Basically they met at the MRT at 1pm, and they went shopping for food at the supermarkets to prepare for the cooking competition which was supposed to be on that night. After reaching Aloha, they realised they booked the wrong date, and they thought about what to do, before deciding on karaoke. They put the food at Huawei's squadmate's chalet (Joel), who so coincidentally was staying there too. The rest put their bags at certain people's houses, then went to sing. After the singing marathon, they went back to their squadmates' house to stay over for the night before heading for chalet on 28 Dec. haha. Me no squadmate to stay over, so I went home along with dear Sheng Lian.
The next day, we booked into chalet at about 2pm. Ha I was late as usual. I couldn't believe they walked to Aloha yesterday and couldn't book in. Aloha is SUPER ulu, and it is a LOOOOONG walk in from Pasir Ris MRT. Must have been super devastating for them. We played monopoly and cards till about 5pm, which the cooking competition (supposedly the day before) began. I was thrown into a Mexican team, meaning we were supposed to cook Mexican food. Pia Leong, Chee Hoe, Jian Li and me. Only girl. Who said girls can cook? I didn't cook. CH and JL did all the marinating of the chicken, and threw the chicken into the oven to bake. HAHA. So easy. But it tasted nice! Okie, admit it, we NEVER ate mexican food before. We just mixed a sauce consisting of tomato sauce, tobasco, capsicum, and 'sian' our way through. What did I do? I cut stuff loh. Peeling onions make me cry. First time sia, I never peel onions at home before. Haha. The sauce was prepared by PL. I was doing the deco of the plate with lettuce onions and capsicums. haa. I can't cook for nuts pls.
After that we ate up all the food, of course before that, there was judging by the Yr2s (Kristian's batch). Haa. There were other food to top up, while we were cooking, the Yr2s were doing BBQ. And we cooked till 8.30pm! Now you know the hard work your mum goes through to get you those few dishes on the table. After that was cleaning up. Then the usual seniors' initiation of the Yr1s and the Yr2s who didn't initiate last year.
And there was supposedly a movie marathon. But it turned out they only had a VCD player, all there was only 1 VCD, the others all DVDs! HAHA. And the VCD is...... Initial D. Played mahjong the whole night till morning, with dear CW. He came after the initiation with a smell of liquor. Apparently he only drank a martini. But the smell was super strong. haha.
Till morning. The morning of 29th Dec, I went with the Yr1s and 2s to Mt Sinai (i.e. the new Dunman campus at Buona Vista). Manz, nice walk from Buona Vista to reach the campus, and from the outside, you can't see that it's DHS! Cos' along the sides of the road are all terrace houses, and the entrance of DHS looks just like one of the entrance of the terrace house. White. Just a gate for the cars to go into. I guess that was why a BIG "DUNMAN HIGH SCHOOL" sign with an arrow pointing towards the gate was right outside the gate. And the school is pretty big. I only went to one half of the school, since they were doing Orientation Preparation. Didn't see the classrooms. After settling my admin stuff with the secretaries, I went back to Pasir Ris chalet. Looong trip, feels longer than Boon Lay to Aljunied. And at the chalet, we started our Yr3s and above meeting at 2.30pm. Setting appointments for Yr3s and above and Yr1s. We met till about dinner time. That night I was dead tired. Fell asleep at 1am, not caring whatever they are playing at chalet. lol. Oh yah, one of the Yr1s sleeping beside me said I was talking in my sleep. But dunno about what.
Last day, the usual stuff happened. Pack up, go eat breakfast, head home to the pillows! Okie the guys went play LAN. Not too surprising.
Countdown
Finally, the last event. Woah you must be nuts to read till here. We were supposed to meet at 9pm at Lau Pa Sat. Guess wad? Huawei only told me we were meeting at 9pm AT 9pm. Haha. Super joke. Okie so I reached at 9.45pm. After that we went near Fullerton Hotel to watch fireworks. The fireworks was great, but the spraying of 'fake snow' i.e. soap was smelly and irritating. Unavoidable on these kinda occasions I guess. After a hard time getting out of the fireworks place, we finally got to Huawei's house for overnight. (I am the only girl, yikes. nvm. xi guan jiu hao) Fell asleep watching some weird movie, then woke up to play monopoly. Haha. We just like to play monopoly huh. Then till morning, eat breakfast, and go home.
My house is like hotel sia. Go there sleep only. Haha. So this is how my December went.
