Count My Many Blessings

Blessings come in many forms these days.  People, activities, events, places, weather, laws of the land, trust, honesty, strength, motivation, endurance, friendship, parenthood and even trials, weakness, loss & heart ache.

I am blessed...

  • to have caring friends & family in my life that keep in touch often
  • to have fun & interesting things to do & places to go
  • to have beautiful weather, rain or shine
  • to have laws that protect the innocent & prosecute the guilty
  • to have trust in the things I believe
  • to have an honest soul
  • to have strength not just to endure, but to build up
  • to have goals, plans & friends that keep me motivated
  • to have the ability physically, emotionally & mentally to never quit & see things through to the finish
  • to have friendships, so I may care for & be cared by others.
  • to have a child that I love that teaches me patience, selflessness, unconditional love.

I am even blessed...

  • to have challenges in life that remind me that trials happen for everyone, regardless of good or bad, strong or weak, race, sex, age, or religion. But its how I respond or react to these trials that gives me either added strength & confidence or foresight & understanding of what improvement I can make.
  • to have experienced loss of a life, a person, I learned of too late, I didn't bond with or know them, but somehow the loss, devastating. Blessed, 1, for added appreciation to those still with me & 2, for knowing we will meet again.
  • the have known heart ache so that I can learn, know & recognize bad from good.
