BMW the ultimate driving machine

I am pretty happy with the BeeMeer.. It is amazing how a brand recognition is created. I mean, how come two cars, which do the same job, i.e., transport someone from A to B, create so different feelings of brand consiousness. It is definetely an art.. and i am suddenly curious about the science behind it. First of all,i used to think that looks matter in cars.. but the BMW is not something extraordinary in terms of looks, neither is its engine so much more different than a competing say Lexus. Then does it all boil down to the BRAND..?? Why is it that i am smiling when i am in this car??

time whizzing past

I have been lazy on my blog. Part of it was because i was innocously featured on league of MBA bloggers. I politely asked to be removed. I have been grappling with the idea of B-school lately. I think i am still pondering over it. I am still not very committed.

On other fronts, we just bought a BMW 3 series sedan...its really cool. Its got steptronic feature and sport package. I think i am gonna have a lot of fun driving this car...sssh its for my wife :)

I just watched a indian movie called "supari".. i think it can be safely nominated as one of the most "bakwas" film of the century!!!!

memorial weekend and more

Well, memorial weekend came and went by...My wife and I got out of bay area and took off for Reno and Tahoe.. the perennial haunt of bayers...of course this was exciting for us as it was the FIRST ever road trip for us. It was cool...i like short road trips...especially the ones which take us through scenic routes such as the sierra nevadas.

We ate, gambled (my wife actually won some...I played roulette, in which I regained my money after losing miserably in the beginning), and saw the sights. We stayed at the Siena hotel in reno, which was great but i cant vouch for its security.. my car was almost broken into at night.


well, the next few weeks are going to be packed with people visiting us. We are expecting people ...2 of my wife's freinds and then her brother is coming to visit us...I think we will be doing Yosemite and also a whole bunch of clubbing.
