Lunch Time Post

Something interesting worth sharing:
So I was having this conversation with my colleague from another department.

A: what's in the paper bag you are holding?
ME: Oh it's just empty boxes n cardboards that I am recycling. I do it whenever I can and it is habitual and instinctual.
A: for what?
ME: erm, just to recycle? Save the earth?
A: For what?
ME: it is to save the earth, making it a better place.

Then A gave me this smirk with this condescending look. Before she walked off, she added so u are an environmentalist? Haha.

Well, I can practically understand why there's global warming and why temperatures are rising, because people like them are just mocking at the efforts of others. Frankly speaking, I am surprised that such ignorance and snobbish attitude still persists even when there have been much efforts and outreach programmes urging the public to reduce, reuse and recycle. Good luck earth, if that's how your earthians' treat u. 🌍

Home Sweet Home!

Finally home from my 8-day Hong Kong trip! Each time when I return home from an overseas trip, it makes me more appreciative of the things I have in our homeland; our people, our culture and even our local dishes. Singapore is fast paced,  but Hong Kong is 10 times faster. I am thankful that I am a true blue Singaporean. Shall share more about my travelogue in the next few posts. I am also much thankful for the fact that it is breadman and mine's very first trip and we survived through it! 😂 well, seems like this partner is confirmed.  Haha..
