Pictures paint a thousand words...
Before painting
After painting. It isnt that easy to control an extremely fine brush though... Did not turn out that nice but the process was enjoyable. Look at mickey's unshapely ears... haha.. supposed to be rounder! Brings back fond memories of the days when I was still the art rep in class and excelling in my art class. And the handsome art teacher Mr Lee who became such a nag after he became our form teacher.. Haha... Many girls have a crush on him! Including myself.. perhaps that's why I always put in lots of effort for his work. And his constant attention on me... awww! It's a form of reinforcement for me. haha.. those were the good old days. I am so glad to have those compulsory art lessons in secondary school.
My sis did a better job than me! So much better.. bet she has steady hands!
Clearing the wardrobe! Look! So neat and tidy. Mom asked if I threw away lots of clothes as the wardrobe looks empty...as a matter of fact, yes! Threw away those clothes that I wouldnt wear again, wouldnt fit me (too big! that's the plus point about losing weight haha) and those that I couldnt figure out why I bought them in the first place! (too obiang haha). Nonetheless, I still kept some pieces for memento's sake, such as the white tube dress that costs 80 bucks which I wore on my elder sis's wedding. Still can fit in that dress, but it's a little loose at the top and a little fitting at the tummy area. This shows that I am losing weight at all the wrong places. Laughs. Cup size downgraded... had to change my whole set of lingerie. This reminds me that I have yet to use the La Senza vouchers from the girls. Time to pamper myself with an expensive set of lingerie! Perhaps it's of better quality since it's more pricey. Spent hours to tidy up my clothes. Not by myself of course, but with my ever helpful breadman! He's particular about everything! From matching the colour of the hangers to the colour of the clothing, to folding the clothes... I cant fold that well, or perhaps I think his technique of folding is time consuming. Too neat already! OCPD indeed! Both of us ended up sneezing badly.. kind of funny haha.. Blame it on my dusty wardrobe. Should have took mum's advice and put on a mask before that. Thank you breadman I really appreciate it! Not to mention making you sneeze... I foresee you doing lots of housework in the future... hahah...and family's getting used to your presence, they are including you in conversations (or perhaps I mention your name too often?) so do not feel awkward. Hope my wardrobe stays in that state for the next one month!
Something to rejoice over: My "delete" and "backslash" keys are miraculously functioning! After years of inactivity... A good sign!

All those check ups
Did a myriad of tests in one day! Ultrasound scan, balance tests, audio tests, another scope through my nose. My morning appointment at ttsh was at 830... reached at 8 am. Completed the ultrasound scan in 15 mins. Had a cup of tea and rotted till 10 am before proceeding to nuh for my second appointment, which was scheduled at 245 pm. Dun ask me why I reached there so early. Played the waiting game and was half bored to death. Luckily they had some magazines available on the rack for me to kill time. Dad was almost dozing off. Although it was nothing compared to the time when I was at the A & E (he waited for 9 hours straight. stoning.. while I was overwhelmed with dizziness even while lying on the hospital bed), I could see that he was bored as well. I finally did my audio test at 345 pm. Amazingly, I wasnt hungry even though the last time I ate was at 845 am. I guess all the jitter bugs in me frightened away my hunger. Dad was hungry though and I offered him a slice of french toast which I bought earlier on. Feel quite sorry for making him starve.
The audio tests were pretty fun. Haha. I had to put on headphones and to press a button whenever I hear a tone. The results indicated that I have mild hearing loss. Not to worry though, because I am only unable to detect high frequency sound waves. Think of high pitch screeching sound, buzzing sound. When that tone came on, it was hard to differentiate between whether it was the ringing sound in my ears, or the tone I hear. Have to take good care of my ears from now on. No more screaming at me, please. Whisper to me next time! I need to stay clear away from blasting music and construction sites as well. Next in line was the doctor's consultation. My doctor is a handsome one! Haha.... that made those tests more pleasant to go through. Nice and friendly disposition. Sat through a series of tests. The thyroid tests...pointing his finger and my nose.. and the balance tests. He shook my head quickly for 20 times, and then instructed me to close my eyes and balance myself (with one foot in front of another). Another test required me to close my eyes and walk in a straight path. Then he asked me to lie down and hold on to his elbow, while he quickly positioned my head downwards... i felt as though all the blood was rushing to my brain suddenly. Then came the scope. Ever since I had my gastroscopy done, I have an aversion for it. Luckily this one wasnt that bad. Probably it was due to the fineness of the scope. It's just the size of a small straw... inserted through the nose and into the throat. The doctor was nice enough to explain to me the various parts of my throat that I saw on the screen. No abnormality, luckily! Just a little swollen and inflammed and traces of phlegm seen. The lump sensation that I feel is probably due to the inflammation. No cause of worry. However, it doesnt explain my sudden onset of vertigo and my lightheadedness. Thus, I am scheduled to go under a MRI scan. Heard that it lasts for an hour and patients actually fall asleep during the scan. Not me of course! I am forever tensed up, how to sleep? Feel slightly better after the series of tests. At least I dun haf to worry that much. My bloatedness isnt that bad now, just the throat and head... I believe I am slowly recovering. Need to recover before I am up for activities! So many things to do, so many places to visit, so please get well soon!

When I am well, the first thing I wanna eat is tiramisu! The soft sponge cake infused with alcohol... Slowly melting in your mouth... Mouthwatering! News about me being sick spread really fast... Been receiving calls from relatives lately, all expressing their concern. Lots of tonics at home... Bird nest n chicken essence. Exams are over for me but I feel a tinge of sadness. Gonna miss those days in ntu, laughing and gossiping with the girls... Spotting my guy in the fal... I haf kind of habituated to the sound of his keys haha... Down for my checkup tmr, pray hard that all is fine. And I haf finally watched wicked the musical, after spending like 300 bucks per person...oops.. Not my money but I still feel heart pain of course. Amazed at how the females can run and hop around while wearing heels! Their voices were superb too. And I wonder why their voices dun go hoarse since they haf to perform almost daily. Guess they are indeed well trained. Looking forward to fan yang's bubble performance in June! It's gonna be an eye opener for me. lastly, stay positive! It isn't easy, but I must try.
