My big boy T-Y is officially done with 2nd grade!! Wow! Yay fo3rd grade already! The last couple of weeks of school were a lot of fun! I must say I think Ty had the best teacher in the entire school! Mr. Lasslo was awesome! He makes things fun and interesting for his students. He is full of energy and is a great example.
Mr. Lasslo helped every 2nd grade student make a box kite. They had a kite flying day and I was able to go and help Ty fly his kite.
The weather was beautiful but not perfect for flying a kite! There was barely a breeze! Ty did get his kite up a few times though! It was sure fun to watch a bunch of kids running around the field trying to fly their kites!
Ty actually had two field trip days in 2nd grade! The first day they walked from the school to the park. It was sure fun to have a play day with Ty and his classmates.
The park was so packed with children! I had never seen so many kids at one park before!
Caleb loved being with the big kids and all of Ty's class just loves Caleb! They call him 'mini Ty' every time they see him!
This is Mr. Lasslo! What a great teacher to play with his students and even go down the tube slide!! He is sure a fun teacher!
Ty playing hide-and-see with his friends!
Mara loved being at the park with her big brother and all his friends!
A full smile on that kid's face!
Caleb learned a new trick at the park--how to climb up the tires!
Ty with his two buddies: Aiden & Jaden!!
Ty's next field trip was actually an all day adventure to the fire station, the dinosaur museum, the park, and swimming pool!! What a FUN day!
It was our first swimming day of the year! It wasn't too hot but the water felt good and was actually quite warm!
It was fun watching Ty play with his buddies at the pool!
Mara and CC had a fun swimming day together!
On Ty's last day of school we had a breakfast party for his class. We had an amazing feast of pancakes, eggs, sausage, juice, milk!!! We watched a great slideshow that Mr. Lasslo made for each of his students.
Thank you Mr. Lasslo for a wonderful year in 2nd grade!! You sure helped Ty succeed!
