Scarecrow - 2010

So we decided we wanted some fall decorations in the front yard this year. So instead of doing Halloween we decided to do a scarecrow that we could leave up until we put up our Christmas decorations. Here are some pics of us creating him.

This first pic is what happens when you give me a building project. Leave the crafty stuff to me but not the building as you can see. Levi was at work and me being the impatient person I am couldn't wait so I got the drill, screws and wood out and tried doing it myself. Well as you can see I couldn't quite get the screw all the way in so I got irritated and just hammered it the rest of the way. One of the screws bent and so I just kept hitting it until it was flat with the wood and the other completely broke off.... it worked and its still together.....for now!
So here's his face. I took yarn and sewed all the face. Two cuteys!

Here he is done, with the straw added to the hands/legs. He's not up in the yard yet...after the whole hammer thing, I figured Levi probably should be the one to hammer him in the ground. Can't wait to get him up! More pics when its done........

Springerville, AZ - October 2010

We squeezed in one last trip to Springerville before it got to cold. Perfect time to go, it actually is Fall some places in AZ. The trees are changing and everything looks absolutely beautiful. I just love this place.....my favorite place to go camping/riding in AZ.

Here is a short video of us riding. The kids wanted to ride the 4wheeler so I got on Logans bike and had some fun. Levi is taking the video while riding his motorcycle.

ROTC Leadership Day

The day started early.....5:51. They had to be there exactly at the assigned time or they got in trouble and yelled at. Little did they know that none of them were gonna be on time no matter what, it was all a set up.
