Summer 2011
Our summer has been filled with so many fun adventures good times with family and friends. Here are a few highlights. Blogging has not been a high priority as we are trying to stay unplugged. Enjoy.

Fearless
Crazy name for a post my girl is fearful of everything. Flies, bugs, and people you name it she has a hard time walking on her own two feet at times. But when it comes to thrill rides flying through the air she is all over it.
At our little carnival while eating ice cream she said she wanted to do the bungee jumping. Of course it was an additional $5.00 so in true Nevada style I bet she would do it believing she would balk the minute they tried to put the harness on.
But to my surprise she did it!
and loved it she is truly fearless in some areas
and still quite a baby in others. After her bungee jumping she was happy to get back into the safety of her stroller. She may not want to walk around at the carnival but she is happy to fly.

Pre-School Promotion
We are no longer a Dragonfly but have graduated to a Chipmunk. This is a big deal around here and is all we can talk about. Annalise will red shirting this years kindergarden class to continue on on with the children she has been with for the past 2 years and most off all be a Chipmunk first. Cognitively she is ready to go but needs to grow a bit more physically and emotionally. What can I say 2 years in a Chinese orphanage takes more then just a few years to recover from. Giving her one more year yo catch up is the least I can to for her. She has graduated from the developmental early child program and should not need any more further intervention. Congrats Annalise you are really growing up.

Winter 2011
Blogging has just not been a high priority for us these days as much as spending quality time together making new friends and just enjoying life so here are a few of our favorite pics from this winter there are many more and Easter fun to come.
