Happy Administrative Assistant's Week - Day 3

Today I'm showing the last card I made for my department.

I can't take credit for this layout.  I found it on Pinterest (sorry, no name to give credit to) and thought it was so pretty.  I stamped Big Words "Sometimes people forget" onto a fishtail flag and added some felt flowers I made from various flower dies.  The background stencil is Fishnet and I softly sponged on some distress ink.  A bit of ribbon, a doily and some rhinestones finished it off.

The inside has the rest of the sentiment "Never forget how great you really are, I mean it"....but in my hurry I forgot to take a photo of the inside - sorry.

Happy Administrative Assistant's Week - Day 2

I'm back with two more cards I made for a couple of the ladies in my department.  I am working my way through all the Danielle Donaldson images :)  Today's cards feature Onlygretchen and Amostella.

Like yesterday's cards, they were stamped with Brilliance Graphite Black ink and then clear embossed onto some watercolour paper.  I kept the layout the same - some washi tape, some Crystal Nuvo drops/dots and of course Wink of Stella.  The sentiment is one of the ones from Utterlyviolet.  

Tomorrow I'll show the last card I made for my department.

Happy Administrative Assistant's Week - Day 1

It's Administrative Assistant's week and I made some cards for the awesome ladies in my department.  I actually made 5 cards - I'll show two today, two tomorrow and the final one on Wednesday.

For these two I inked up Utterlyviolet and Untilolive from the new Danielle Donaldson line.  I tried some watercolouring again.  The images are stamped with Brilliance Graphite Black ink and then clear embossed onto some watercolour paper.  I used one of the sentiments that comes with Utterlyviolet "utterly amazing" and added some washi tape down the side and a few Nuvo Crystal Drops.  Of course I had to use my Wink of Stella pen for some sparkle on their clothes - LOL.

Bellariffic Friday - Birthday Wishes/Celebrate

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week the challenge was Birthday Wishes/Celebrate.  I made a birthday card using The Stuffie Gang.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  The paper is Echo Park "A Boy's Life" and the sentiment is from Uptown Girl Serena has a Sign.  I added some glossy accents to the balloon.

Pina Colada time

This was me last week - down south, on the beach with my BFF.

I stamped the super cute Tropical Squidgies image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  I used the co-ordinating Cut it Out die and popped "us" up onto a beach scene I drew.  The paper is Doodlebug Design "Sunkissed".  Of course, I had to use some glossy accents on our sunglasses :)

On the inside I used the sentiment that comes with the image.

Happy Easter

Just a quick pop in with another Easter card featuring the sweet Hoppy Easter Bunny Wobble. 

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  I made a frame with some patterned paper from my scrap pile, sorry don't know the name of it.  The sentiment comes with the image and I cut it in two and mounted it at an angle.

Bellariffic Friday - Mojobella Sketch 28

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week we had Mojobella Sketch 28 to work with.

I inked up Tiny Townie Lacey has a Letter with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured her with copics. 

I added a small felt flower and used my Wink of Stella pen on the little hearts on her dress.

Milton

I struggle with "manly" cards but this little mouse, Milton, was the perfect image.

I stamped Milton with Brilliance Graphite black ink onto watercolour paper and embossed it with clear embossing powder.  I got out my watercolour pencils and he was coloured up in no time. 

I stamped part of the sentiment that comes with Milton on the front and the rest on the inside.

Elaineabella's "Stamp it Saturday" technique

Every Saturday on the blog Elaineabella comes up with something fab for us to try on her "Stamp it Saturday" post.  Yesterday I had some time to play and gave her technique "Distress ink backgrounds" a try. 

I stamped BeachaBELLA V.2.0 with with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured her with copics.  She doesn't have much of a tan yet, does she? LOL.

I added some glossy accents to her sunglasses.

I only have a few Distress Ink colours so I was pretty limited but am happy how it turned out. I think my "splatters" are a bit too big, but it's all learning and practice and Elaineabella is a great teacher - I have learned so much from her!

Bellariffic Friday - Free Form

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week it was a Free Form challenge so anything goes!  It's also the first Friday of the month so that means another stamp on sale at 20% off for the whole month!  This month we are featuring one of the Uptown Girls, Reilly needs to Relax.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  I added some glossy accents to her wine glass and the "empty" wine bottle - LOL.  On the inside I stamped the sentiment that comes with Reilly.

The Good Egg Chicks

I'm back with another sample of those fun little chicks from the new release on Thursday!

I stamped The Good Egg Chicks with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured them with copics. They come with a matching die to cut them out but I liked them all together for this card.  I stamped part of the sentiment that comes with the image on the front of the card and the rest on the inside.

I love the sentiments Emily comes up with - so playful and fun!
