yup today marks the end of my 3 weeks reservist and i'm heading back to my workplace next tuesday. so i got a good few days to rest myself.
today i went iluma for the first time and i have to say, i had a great day today at iluma. i really enjoyed my day today! ^^

Wa seh... 3 months never blog... Haha...
ok ok... so where have i disappeared to? well actually been lazy to blog cause dunno what to blog down also. haha...
what i have been doing lately is working, gaming, pianoing going church and going out with friends. BUT... i haven't been working currently for the 4th day... well i am off for this whole week... can't wait for tomorrow to come cause i will be going to batam with my friends. woohoo... beach... water... sun... can't wait! it's not even 8pm now... Duh~~~ (batam kaki: Mark, Mei, Joel, Hui, Jiahui, Alvin, Serena)
gaming wise been playing diablo 2 lately and Left 4 Dead with 3 other friends. it's fun to play and skype at the same time while we conversing with each other and asking who to watch whoever's back and screaming at the friend who shot us by mistake. i love the way it's been played. haha.. much fun (gaming kaki: Alvin, Mark and Joel)
piano still learning now... currently trying to make myself able to play with 2 hands, one doing the chord and the other the melody but it's SUPER HARD! i think my piano teacher going to kill me also lah cause i keep wanting to skip the basic and go into the advance... lol... (piano teacher: josephine)
so far i also have been attending church diligently every sunday. though a couple of times i am very late and was confined to the outside to watch TV instead of sitting in the comfort of the sanctuary. haha... been going to a few of the congregation by other guest speakers also. been good and really love it. currently attending services at Cornerstone Community Church.
lately special outings include prawning with Nicholas, Dionne and Maria. Crazy man... I stood for 2 hours before i catch my first prawn. LOL!!!
been out ktv also with my colleagues from the Operations side the Sales side. It's the first time i go ktv with my Sales colleagues and it's crazy... simply because they are more crazy than me... alot of fun. before this ktv session was a dinner treat from my officers. sumptuous dinner... making my stomach REAL big
what's up next? well for the next 3 weeks i will be doing my reservist. nothing much i supposed. following that will be getting ready for alvin and xiaomei's wedding dinner whereby i will be their official photographer (waited long for this day to come man) and need to help them do up a presentation which... i need some inspirations on. haha... if nothing crops up, i will be going to church camp in june. a trip to taiwan in august and a cruise trip somewhere later. oh yeah... perhaps a camping trip too with my poly friends but see how the planning goes. =)
today brought my mum out shopping cause it's just too warm to stay at home. plus i need to shop for some accessories for my camera. spent few hundreds today... sob sob... oh yeah... there's a sweet young lady working in Ocean Pacific at J8. qutie chatty and fun. lol... my mum even joke with her while i change. omg...
alright... gonna finish my last sentence and the time now is... NO!!!! not even 8 still... ahhh... dun care. go eat dinner liao.

~ a little update ... ~
well just a little...
friday after work went out dinner and shopping for new year clothes. but after dinner felt my stomach aching... not really feeling well so went home instead (spoiler...) on my way home, felt like vomitting and when reached home, i went to vomit... i deduce that it's food poisoning cause my stomach really feeling unwell...
wanted to go see doc on sat but when i left house and go back to branch to check up the clinics under the shenton medical group coverage, noticed that the timing, they are closed for dinner... cannot tahan, i go back home to rest...
slept from 7 till 12am... watched soccer after that and 2am cannot tahan so sleep again...
next day, 845am serena gave me a morning call to wake me up to go church. she's very nice lor. been getting me to go church since new year. haha... accompanied her to go vfc's combined service and for the past 2 sundays, been going to cornerstone. quite a nice environment and something different. i figured if i'm going to start anew, it might be a good place for me there. but still felt abit indebted to vfc? like never say anything just evaporated like that... abit like never 交待 properly lor... hmmm... anyway see how ba... think my cell group leaders also give up on me liao cause it's been weeks since they last sent me sms to attend cell group meeting. my bad ... my bad ... been disobedient... now i actually paisei to see them =( but i miss the youths leh... haiz...
anyway today went over to relative house to play pictionary with my cousins and a friend. had alot of fun and laughter lah... one of my cousin is a super good artist lor so if drawing normally no matter what sure can guess one unless your vocab is super lousy like me. he drew a walrus and i dunno about this word at all though the animal was very clear and obvious... but i just dunno that word at all... lol so no matter how good is his drawing, i will never be able to guess it right. lol...
we are going to spend our chinese new year playing board games. something different from the usual mahjong and blackjack session. we planned to play it on first day of new year. yay!!!
oh yeah... last thursday went for rueda class... oh man forget ALOT of things and learn a couple more new moves. man... really need time to practice now... if not sure go down the drain again. haha... we danced from 830 till 1130pm. shiok! my first dance for the new year. haha...

Yay! 2009!!!
Welcome to the Year 2009!
An exciting year... so what's my resolution for this year???
Let's see... ... ... ... ...
Shit... *stare hard* ... ... ... ...
Ehhh... okie ... here goes...
1. To be able to play my keyboard/piano well
2. To start hitting the gym
3. To get married
4. To dance well
5. To go overseas for holiday at least once
6. To know more about God
7. To be more customer focused at work
8. to be added on
okie... let's keep it at 6 for now... hmmm... are you having questions??? I can feel it... what's that "3. To get married" doing over there???
Yeah I know you will be curious. Anyway that's just for fun ba... cause... UOB going to change marriage leave from 14 days to 3 days le. so this year is the last year to get the 14 days marriage leave. maybe i will just grab a girl and ROM just to get the 14 days. hahaha...
P.S. I am still single now and if you are reading my post now and actually interested in me, dun be scared off okie? haha... *think too much*
The rest of them can pretty much achieve as long as I am disciplined enough...
perhaps the next one curious is... 'hit the gym'? well yeah... hitting the gym to keep fit and to look good. with lean muscles, good strength, good endurance, good physique and i will look confident and maybe more masculine and i might get my resolution 3 achieved because of that! Haha!!! *think too much again*
Ok ok... I think right now I can only recall these few things. anyway I am writing this post down to remind me what I want to accomplish this year for now. I am starting to be more forgetful now... forgetting appointments, errands, accomplishments, promises and I am starting to hate myself for that... so must start to do something to help me remember them....
Can someone be my PA please? I dunno what are the things that are occupying the memories in my brain... making me forget important things... hmmm gotta think of a way to get rid of them and start remembering important things... hmmmm.... *thinking in progress...*

~ Branch Chalet from 6th Nov - 8th Nov ~
Straight after work on Saturday, I accompany my colleagues to buy some stuffs then headed home to pack my mini hifi and belongings to be brought over to the chalet.
I met up with Alan (colleague) who drove me down to the chalet at Pasir Ris Drive (near to Pasir Ris Park). We were supposed to meet the other colleagues to help bring down the necessities we bought for the chalet event. but they got enough transport vehicles and so we do not need to go down meet them already. We reached the chalet at about slightly past 7pm. but only got in at late 7 cause the colleague with the key arrived late.
We unpacked everything in the chalet and headed down to Summer Breeze for a cheap, relaxing dinner and headed back to the chalet to finish up our decorations and other preparations.
After we are done, we need to go down to Nicholas house to help him bring over the food that he prepared for the BBQ next day. so Alan drove us back to Nicholas house in Hougang but before we got to his place, we had our supper at Punggol Nasi Lemak located along Upper Serangoon Road. After dropping Nicholas and the ladies off, Alan drove me back home to get some stuffs. We headed back then to the Nicholas house and helped with the transportation of the foods. Then we laze around in the chalet whereby me after not sleeping much on Friday night and today out the whole day, felt extremely tired. Not wanting to exhaust myself out and since i am the part of the organising team in charge of games the next day, i decided to get some rest and leave the rest to chat. actually another part of the reason is because i am not needed there with the rest since they are drinking which i dun and chatting which i didn't join in since i am already too tired to talk. Anyway Alan is accompanying the ladies and he's much more interesting to talk to.
I slept for a few hours (during these few hours, Alan drove the ladies out for breakfast at Geylang) and packed some food for those of us who fell asleep. Dionne woke me up for breakfast and Nicholas is rushing us to finish up fast cause he needs to go to the market to get somemore food. well actually i was supposed to join them but i decided to stay behind cause i dun like to be rushed to swallow down my breakfast and i dun think need so many people to go down to market. Alan, Dionne and Nicholas went down in the end. I stayed behind with Maria and Siew Kim.
after breakfast i started to get ready balloons to decorate the place. pumping and blowing up balloons the whole morning and getting my things ready for the games i planned for the day.
Nicholas they all came back around 9am with the food and shortly after, Alan drove off with Dionne to go "pak tor" until 12pm then they come back with lunch for the rest of us. by then me and siew kim has finished with our balloon decorations for the house. Siew Kim was asleep then and "coincidentally" i was going to the beach to stroll for locations to play our games so i did not join them for the lunch together when they got back. (hmmm... by now my mood has already swung)
took a stroll along the beach as slowly as i can trying to relax my clouded mind and looking for suitable locations for the game. something that came across my mind last minute that we have not find the locations. If all packed with people how? anyway i didn't convey my intention of looking for locations to the rest. I just walked out of the chalet and go my way.
after that i slowly walked back to the chalet and start to have my lunch. at the same time worrying about the day's event if it will go well.
The game in the afternoon by the beack went well. Had fun and most of us were thrown into the sea water (as i expected it to happen and wanted it to happen).
We got back for BBQ preparation and had a slight problem as the charcoal will not burn. they have to go out to buy charcoals again. Waited for awhile before they came back with the right charcoals. Started fire and it starts to look like it's gonna rain. But it didn't. They all kept saying must hang chilli so that it will not rain but we dun have chilli but i kept saying that it will not rain. I know cause i prayed the night before for God's help to give us a good weather on the day itself.
around 9pm, we have our gift exchange. it will be a lucky draw style. It went on well and soon after it's our branch's lucky draw for presents. we followed this with a balloon fight. everyone had fun but i was quite disappointed with myself for the video i took of the whole balloon fight was lost because of my stupidity to off my camera instead of ending the video shot. So ended up it was not taken at all... i was totally disappointed after that...
after that, slowly everyone's leaving and we did the cleanups and followed by mahjong for me, Alan, Lawrence and Elaine. after one round, they went home. the personal bankers of our branch are playing blackjack in a room upstairs. haha...
operations side only left me, samuel, maria and irene staying back. the personal bankers stayed till early morning and went back. i went to sleep around 3am cause i really very tired already. woke up 8+am to pack up and head home.
I wonder if everyone had fun during this chalet or not... did they enjoy themselves? did they enjoy the games? were they satisfied? i am not very sure but i was glad to receive the thank you sms from the boss for the success of the event.
for me personally? how do i feel? hmmm... i just felt that i didn't do my very best. still some things crop up like my mini hifi which i brought down cannot receive reception which i still dunno why... my mood wasn't the very best throughout the whole period. in fact it wasn't very good on sunday especially when i dun have things to do and started to think too much. but when the rest of the guests come down, i start to feel better as i get them to play games. When Jasmine and her kids came, i start to get livelier after i played with them. when night falls after the bbq, i start to swing again cause something i expected to happen has happened which i actually hoped it didn't happen.
Praise to God for answering my prayers and helping me to ensure that the weather is good for the games and the BBQ. Thanks to God for giving me strength to last the day despite not having enough sleep. Thanks to God for keeping me emotionally stable to put on a smile during the time when the guests came. Thanks to God for giving me a friend during this chalet period when He knew i desperately need someone to talk to and someone who understands how i felt. Thanks to God for giving me a bunch of fun and great colleagues to work with. and really thank God for the kids that came in the evening which helped to get livelier. Surely God knows what can keep me alive. ^^

Other than that is staying home to do laundry, cleanning up and watching DVD. watched Evan Almight (long ago show but i never watched before mah) relaxing at home and doing some plannings.

~ the start of my holiday break ~ cont'd
~ on the third day of break ~
... let's continue from where i left off... i decided to head down Sitex today to check out if there's anything that i could get... but it's quite frustrating one cause took me awhile to get to the parking lot and get down... when i reached, i already have no mood to walk plus there's so many people even on a working day. haha... i walked one round and left the place. since it's still early for me to meet my colleagues for dinner, i decided to drive my bro's car to a car park and do some polishing to it since i think the stains on his car is getting unsightly. it's very tiring but when i see all the stains removed and the car shining, i feel so happy. ^^
when i got to the branch, we waited for everyone to be ready and headed down to Casuarina Road for Seafood. It's fantastic. I love the food we had. anyway it was Irene's birthday that day and here's our sweet lady ^^
after dinner headed home to rest.

today's saturday. woke up in the late morning and prepared myself to go down to max's place for gathering. stayed there and looked thru his honeymoon's overseas's trip photo. he and his wife went on a tour in europe covering many countries. so good =) after that, went down to branch for Passion meeting then went to sunshine plaza to buy a gundam model for joel as his birthday present.
after getting the models, i headed down to alvin's place to meetup before we head down to minori at tanjong katong for dinner with the rest. today, joel is treating us dinner. heehee... after our dinner, we headed down to Kallang Leisure Park for movie. I recommended them Beverly Hills Chihuahua cause i really like it and i watched again with them. haha... just love the show! after movie mark sent me home and got home around 2 plus am ba...
~ on the fifth day of break ~
today is sunday, woke up and got ready to go max's place to meet him go down ikea tampines. wing and his wife elise are getting some furnitures for their new nest while audray and kim are doing shopping also for their new nest. I bought a couple of wall shelves to fix in my room. been wanting to make some changes for a long time and finally i am acting on it. =) once done will take pictures of my changes. (it's gonna be alot of work)
after our shopping at ikea, we send wing and his wife to their humble abode to put their new furnitures and we take the opportunity to look at their new house. very nicely done. very simple and neat. heehee...
after that max sent me home and helped me bring the shelves i bought home. thereafter, i stayed home till now. keke...
wonder what's in for me for the next 3 days...

... let's continue from where i left off... i decided to head down Sitex today to check out if there's anything that i could get... but it's quite frustrating one cause took me awhile to get to the parking lot and get down... when i reached, i already have no mood to walk plus there's so many people even on a working day. haha... i walked one round and left the place. since it's still early for me to meet my colleagues for dinner, i decided to drive my bro's car to a car park and do some polishing to it since i think the stains on his car is getting unsightly. it's very tiring but when i see all the stains removed and the car shining, i feel so happy. ^^
when i got to the branch, we waited for everyone to be ready and headed down to Casuarina Road for Seafood. It's fantastic. I love the food we had. anyway it was Irene's birthday that day and here's our sweet lady ^^
after dinner headed home to rest.

~ the start of my holiday break ~
~ 25/11/08 on the first day of my break...
in the morning went for a massage at Aramsa Spa at bishan park. like it there. the masseur is very friendly and the ambience feels very relaxing. the attendant was very attentive, makes you feel at home. hee... can consider going back for future massage since it's so near my place anyway. haha
afternoon was movie at amk hub. Beverly Hills ChiHuaHua. I LOVE the show!!! It's very nice, very cute, very exciting, very touching... no idea how the director filmed it but the animals just look so natural. I give a 2 thumbs up! (if i have not thumbs i will up them also. haha!)
after movie went down to bishan junction 8 to shop abit, thereafter headed down to bugis for dinner at shaw tower. the shop's name is Creation and it serves pastas. the price is very affordable. after dinner, since Suntec is just walking distance away, decided to go there walk abit since from there take train also easier. no need to transfer. haha...
but was going there the right choice? why you wonder?? well you see... went into the jigsaw puzzle shop and bought 3 puzzles from there home. another one got no stock so paid at Suntec and head down to collect it from Plaza Sing. lol... crazy right? yah... i seriously think so but i like to fix jigsaw puzzle also mah... it's a hobby (which not often done but still do once in a long while).
thereafter with all the barang barangs, headed home... haha.. went alot of place in a single day hor... i think so... kekeke...
~ 26/11/08 the second day of break ~
morning wake up again to go for piano class at my piano teacher's house. heh heh... got to know her from the Rueda clique from ADS. from dunno each other to become dancing kahki and now she's my sensei. haha!!! but i guess old already fingers not very flexible but nevertheless i enjoyed the piano classes i get from her. she's very patient with me and very encouraging. it's my 3rd lesson from her today. ^^
afternoon had lunch in AMK and headed home to fix the first jigsaw puzzle set. it's a Disney Mickey and Minnie puzzle. Panorama Type, 950pcs. completed it at night time just nice for dinner.
drove down to Serangoon to eat Teochew porridge then after dinner went down to AMK hub to check on movies. chose Quarantine at 1140pm. since still got sometime, went back home to feed my dog with the duck drumstick i bought at the dinner place and then headed back to amk hub to watch movie.
the movie is a show from the camera's man point of view. so whatever you see is whatever the camera men films from his video camera. the show is very gan jiong... i will feel anxious for them too. i wouldn't say much but go watch it. heehee...
anyway after the movie, i was also quarantined inside amk hub cause the dunno what the management is thinking... there are still cars parked inside the carpark and they jolly well know that there are late movie watchers so dunno why they go and off the ERP barrier. ended up all the drivers cannot get out of the building... really very bad... poor management. i think if write a letter to complain, the person might lose their job at such times also ba. if they treat my letter seriously that is. haha... anyway after movie went home already.
~ on the third day of break ~
that is today!!! haha... well i didn't mention about my parents went overseas right? Yah... they left SG to ShangHai on wednesday. so which means now i have to take care of the house chores again. This will last for ONE MONTH! That will mean ONE month no home cook food. probably need to stock up alot of instant noodles at home. My mum bought 3 bowls of instant noodles and now my bro has finished up 2 bowls. well i was eating out for the past 2 nights and even tonight also. heehee...
today wake up relax... haha.. shiok... no need to work... after awhile did some laundry, clean up the house abit and tidy up the place. Tonight is my colleague's birthday and she invited a bunch of us to have dinner. So tonight going to go out for food... meanwhile... i am going to rot at home... or maybe i should go out also... hmmm.... well will see.. haha... i will update if i go out ba =)
