New Years Eve tomorrow!

I know! Times flies so incredibly fast! There's just one more day left of this year... Ok - so it's about time now to think about the resolutions for the upcoming year. I know for sure that I'll try my very best to be a better scrapper! And off course - I'll love and support my DD the best way that I can. And maybe get my butt in gear and do some working out? (Well, we'll see about that! LOL ) And take better care of my friends...
Anyway - I just finished this layout. It's one of the very first pictures taken of me daugheter, and she's only a few seconds old. I've tried several times ti scrap this, but it's been a huge struggle. But tonight everything came nicely together! I'm so happy about the result. Especially since I love the colour of red... Hope you like it, too!

Merry Christmas!

We just lit the fourth and last candle for advent - isn't it wonderful? I just love this time of year...

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! And remember - this is the time to reflect a little bit, not only to be jolly. Share some love with someone who really needs it!

December 1.st!

I just can't believe it's December already!!! Time flies away... It would be nice to say that I'm up to date with everything I should have done before December starts, but I'm not. Are you? I have to admit that scrapping has not been my priority lately - there's been plenty of other things to do around here! The designer competition at www.ScrapStreet.com is now over - and the winner(s) will be announced on Dec. 7th. So that's over - puh! This layout is made by paper and elements from my contribution for round 3 + 4 ( a mini-kit and alphas). Em and I had a fun time trying to get the perfect picture for this years Christmas card... Not here at the moment...

Nope. I'm not really here at the moment...
Unfortunately I have a really bad neck that is giving me a lot of trouble. My doc has ordered me to stay of the computer for a while. Any idea how hard that is? I've been a good girl now for about five days - and that's about it! Really! I just HAD to log on now and surf around a little bit! But I have to admit - I really miss being able to scrap or design. It's tough... But I promise I'll be back - better and stronger!
In the meantime - I'll leave you with a page I did for a contest at ScrapScandiStyle a few weeks ago... (If you look closely at the picture - you see me there at the beach! Jupp - it's actually me!)

Bad blogger...

I'm such a bad blogger... LOL But there's just not enough hours during the day! But then again I don't worry about it too much - cause I know that most of you out there know the feeling! But I have to admit that I wish I had an extra hour during the day. It's not always easy to fix everything on my own! So from time to time I'm a little stressed out - but I'll manage!!!
Right now I'm just trying to get everything fixed on my brand new laptop! Juhuuu - I'm in love! But it's with a machine, though... LOL I've been wanting this for sooo long now - and now it's finally mine! I'm so happy about it! I hope that this will increase my work a little bit, both when it comes to designing and scrapping.

Its actually the first time I've used pictures taken with my cellphone. I think the pictures turned out pretty good, don't you? I LOVE that cute icecream-face... This threesome of pictures reminds me of the nice and not least WARM summer we had last year. But that was then and this is now... Weather report from Lørenskog : +3 Celcius and windy... Pjuh!

This is one of the latest pictures taken of my DD... And this is so very typical her right now! Every time I ask her to smile for my - she says "HEEEEI!" (hi in norwegian) And I always end up with a picture of her with her mouth wide open... But this one actually turned out to be quite cute - so I wanted to use it! I've given it some brightness and contrast - to make it stand out more a little bit. And I have to say I'm really pleased with the result of it!

Every thing used on this layout comes from my latest kit - which I still haven't named yet...

A new freebie!

Here's another freebie for you, ladies! (Sorry, no longer available.)
Since the weather over here is miserable (it's been raining since the beginning of june, yeay what a great summer...) - I'm feeling kind of blue right now... Hence the name of this tiny freebie!
You get one funky coloured grungy background and a leaves on stem-doodle (already made in 3 different colours). Of course you may recolour the doodle to suit your needs...

Yeah - I've finally scrapped a layout!
