everybody HUAT ah!!!
sammie had a bday party cum a dog party and i finally got to see didi n meimei. plus there was sushi and of course woh woh. woh woh was the oldest and bullied poor sushi (prob cause she was jumping ard too much and he got irritated) but sushi retaliated with a few loud barks and woh woh was quiet. after tat he just wanted to go home. hehe dinner was nice we had pizzas and pasta and cake and lotsa of fun!
we did a gala dinner for RN's 40th anniversary at raffles hotel. pretty big thing and we even had hairdressers do us up. hence the mamasan hairstyle. food was gd but pity i didn't have my dessert. we didn't know if we had a pl to sit till the last moment. simply loved the decor and the white roses. pretty.
had free tics to ah mei's concert from my colleague cause she bought a new sony erisson phone. woohoo! was a good one but as you can see i was quite far behind and the screens were meant for the ppl directly opp us. brought phylin along and i think may was among the crowd near the ge mi hui. haha. i know i greedy but i want to watch lee hom and kylie! haha
Shuyin who hired me gave me this when she got promoted to regional. Congrats! Someday I hope to be there too. reach for the stars!

The fog was actually water mist that was shot from the drains beside the bridge. There was this circle of light right above the fog. I like this photo, mother and son in the fog. :)
Kids are obviously amused by this, can you spot my two 'Kids'? we are always young at heart :)

ACM. Main focus was on the Vietnamese exhibition but there were many other asian exhibitions in there. Thank goodness we didn't spend $4 to view tat. 
Central Promontory Site. been seeing this everyday on the way to work. initially thought it was a contruction site cause it is just next to the IR. walk there was tiring and hot but i felt it was worth it. Containers were donated by NOL and I think the floors were furnished by IKEA. Many interesting exhibitions in containers
Gonna highlight some of the exhibits that i like.

Title: House of Dreams. The photo doesn't do the idea justice. But picture this, an institution filled with lovely beds just for you to lay have have sweet dreams. I'm sure there will be ppl to wait on you too. I mean this is also my dream too.

Title: Igloo? (not so sure bout the name but it sure looks like one). We had to change into white room slippers (all black alr yucks) and walk through this long tunnel before we reach the light! And we reach winter wonderland! except it was really hot inside so my two frens are really good actors. :) like the tunnel, they look like they're gg into space.....

that concludes the CPS, but we were not done with the arty farty thingy. next up, SAM (singapore art museum). they have music, beers, flea-tique (a flea market, yes i bought something) & some exhibits. Must say am disappointed with the exhibits. says a lot about our local arts scene.
btw i think this must be the shortest pedestrain crossing ever.
the last exhibit that we saw was this outside raffles city. pretty cool. this is the original without any colour. it comprises of happy and sad depending on the colour you use. but the original is neither. interesting.

Anyway tat's the end of our arty farty tour. on a curious note, while we were bluetoothing, we found this guy on the network, NeeNaoHia71. Classic Beng. ha!
i think i blog enough for a few months.
Had some special guests (meaning I hardly see them) Aunty Jenny brought her 2 sons. I have nv seen the youngest n this guy really hit my threshold for kids. Don't get me wrong, I do find most kids adorable. But this guy was kicking ppl, refusing to greet anybody, had this kiam pah face I nearly wanted to slap him. 没家教。But he's adorable now, perhaps that's why he gets away with everything.
We all sang birthday song for the birthday babies. See the little boy staring greedily at the cake. I think he also wanted to help blow the candles... which we let him do in the video.
