Knott's Berry Farm

 

A while ago, I got really tired of having loose change around the house--especially because Baby Daniel kept finding it.  I pulled out a piggy bank and the kids really got into filling it up.  And time they'd find money or we'd get change at a store, they'd yell out, "Yay!  Money for the pig!"  It took us a while, but we finally filled it!  The plan was to do a family activity with the money.  First we went skating.  We all had a great time!  Then, we had enough money for one more thing, so we decided to go "where Snoopy lives"--Knott's Berry Farm.  What a day!  Our friends the Phillips came with us since they had passes.  Such an awesome, fun day!

Girls' Camp



 

I love getting to be in Young Womens'.  (I literally cried when they called me as a teacher, haha.)  I LOVE these amazing girls, and I LOVE the amazing leaders I get to work with.  Some of us went to see the girls on the last night of Girls' Camp this summer.  They looked like they were having a blast!  I am so grateful for them and their incredible examples.

 





Families Are Forever

A couple months ago Charlie was finally sealed to Doug and Tamara.  This is not the first time our lives have been blessed by adoption, and I'm sure it will not be the  last.

 

My kids really got into our special Family Home Evening about temples and families, and they loved celebrating such a special day with their cousins.

It's Getting Cold...

 

 

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE when it starts to get cold outside!  Cute scarves and sweaters, hot chocolate, winter holidays--all reasons why I love this weather!  Still, looking through some old summer pictures is making me feel just a little too cold.  We had a lot of fun this year going to the beach with friends, going jet skiing with Grammie and Papa, and doing lots and lots of swimming (Rebecca keeps begging to do more).  'Till next summer...

My friend Beth scored some tickets to watch The View tape at Disneyland.  Best part: we got to go there for free all day!!!  Holy moly, us girls had the time of our lives!  We all LOVE being home with the kids and all, but this was surely a much needed, and well-deserved (if I do say so, myself) break!  Yay!  Thanks again, Beth!!!
