Yes, I know it was a month ago, but life has been so crazy!!! Steven has been super sick multiple times--today was our 4th trip to the doctor since last Monday! Poor little guy. But, back to happier, healthier times...(And no, we did not go bobsledding for Valentine's Day. I had to post some picture of the 2 of us, and this was taken when it was just the 2 of us and we actually took pictures of just the 2 of us.)...We were so excited to get to spend Valentine's Day with our family in...you guessed it, Valencia. We sure are taking advantage of living so close to both our parents. We were able to see both families, but the bulk of this trip was with the Kings. When we walked into the house we were greeted by the most enormous balloon bouquet I have ever seen!
Steven loved it, of course.
We also loved getting to see our boy Hall cousins Ben and Will. Man, those guys are getting big fast! We love our cousins!
Of course, a Valentine's Day weekend is made even more romantic when it includes a wedding celebration! My cousin Sterling got married a couple weeks earlier, but they had a reception on the 13th. They had a live band and the kids LOVED it!!! Steven pretty much rocked the whole night away, along with the Goeckeri-Gang.
We had such a wonderful holiday of love. There were balloons, dances, pink heart-shaped pancakes, heart-shaped oreo cheesecakes, chocolate covered strawberries, the best sweet potatoes ever, and many loved ones to share it all with. Yay for love!!! XOXO
A few weeks ago the kids and I spent the week in Valencia while Adam was in North Carolina for a week of work training. We had such a great time with all our family there. One of the best parts of the week was getting to see one of my best and longest friends Bonnie. It was especially fun because Bonnie had a baby girl named Makayla in October, then I had Rebecca in November, and we were getting to meet each other's new babies for the first time.They may not know it yet, but these girlies will be best friends, too!
