Crazy, Busy, Way-Too-Much-Fun Summer!!!
July was such a full month! The Kruger family came into town for a week to celebrate the 4th, we had a King family vacation in Park City, and then we had a Bennion (Hall) reunion as soon as August rolled around! We have been so busy, and we have loved every minute of it!!!
We loved getting to celebrate the 4th of July with our King family! My mom had bought these cute matching outfits for the babies--it was so much fun to have all three of them together! The day would not have been complete without Dad's backyard burgers, lots of swimming, and even more family time! Some early birds got up and participated in the city's Kid Run and 5k--don't they look awesome?! We all loved eating outside together. Nathan really got into the spirit of the occasion! :)
After the 4th, a bunch of our King family came up to Santa Barbara for the day. We took the coolest tour--it's called the "Land and Sea Tour," and it's on a bus/boat called the "Land Shark". And yes, I said a bus/boat. For the first half of the tour we drove around seeing the sights of downtown Santa Barbara, and then we spent the rest of the time out on the ocean! We all thought it was so cool that our bus could also be a boat. We even went far out enough to see a family of seals napping in the afternoon sun! After the tour my mom and Trisha treated us all to a yummy lunch of fish 'n chips, chicken nuggets, and Caesar salad. Yummy, thanks!!! We finished the day relaxing and playing on the beach. It was so much fun!

The next week every member of the King family, except poor Adam who couldn't get off work from his new job, headed off to Park City, Utah for more fun. My brother Jeremy's family flew up from Texas, but the rest of us piled into three big cars and had a pretty good road trip together. The week's activities included a wonderful tour of the Oquirrh Mountain Temple, followed by a fantastic dinner at the Roof (thanks, Mom and Dad!!!); lots of time at the Alpine Park with the slides, zip lines, coaster, and tons of tiny rides for our babies; many trips to the pool; beautiful walks up Main Street and beyond; a visit for lunch to Cafe Rio (of course!); and tons of awesome family time!

A nice, relaxing weekend at the beach turned out to be the perfect end to our summer travels (especially since Adam could come). We joined Mom Hall's extended family for their annual reunion in San Clemente. It's so fun to get together with that family and be able to get to know them better. We loved every minute of it!

...And a good time was had by all!!! Thanks to both our Hall and King families for helping to make our family's summer so special!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
