I feel like I have really let our blog go lately. I have just been so swamped! Last weekend we had stake conference, and I was in charge of all the music. I loved getting to lead the choir for the Sunday session. Elder Hinckley, President Hinckley's son, was presiding, so my stake president wanted us to sing "My Redeemer Lives," the hymn that President Hinckley wrote. I thought it should be the closing hymn for the whole meeitng. There wasn't a choral arragnement of it, so Felipe Dominguez (the organist) wrote one! He did such a beautiful job! It started with a violin playing a verse totally along (my one contribution to the arrangement, haha), then we did a verse with the women and violin, then the men and organ, then everyone and organ at the end. It was so perfect. I am so grateful to have been able to work with such amazing people!!!
We have had some visitors the past few weeks. A couple weekends ago my sister Cheralyn and her family came up. It was so much fun to see them! We went to this AWESOME pool in Murray with our kids and her in-law's kids. It was great!

One of my best friends from home Melissa Berg came up last week. We went to Temple Square, saw the Joseph Smith movie, attended the Draper Temple open house, listed to a BYU Singers rehearsal, saw friends from home, and much more! Adam and I were very excited to introduce Melissa to her first ever taste of both J-Dawg's and Cafe Rio! Yum!!! We are DEFINITELY going to miss those when we leave Utah! :(
Adam's mom came up last weekend to watch Lexi, his niece, while her parents were out of town. We went to the Draper Temple open house (Adam hadn't gone with Melissa, so it was his first time), visited the playground in our mall, ate at California Pizza Kitchen (our favorite!), and did a GREAT Costco run!

Basically, life has just been so much fun! Adam is working so hard to finish everything in time for graduation. We were so blessed to have a letter arrive in the mail a little over a week ago that said Adam had one a scholarship from Planet--the corporation that does the annual collegiate landscape competion! It was enough that he is able to take off work for a couple of weeks and use that extra time to focus on his job hunt and finishing his indepent study classes--one down, one to go. He is so amazing!
Also, Steven is 11 months old today! Ahh!!!!!!!!!!!!!
