Ubin Escape

Hello Hello,

Long been since my previous post =)
Perhaps I should reintroduce myself ?
Hello one and all, I'm "Mr. I'mGonnaORDin2Weeks" =p
Rite of course better known as Mr.S (for Simon) and by demand of my beloved princess, here is an update for my blog.

First a delayed birthday shout out to my friends and family:
Cheers to Pris, Clay, Joel, Hui Hui and Sim who has attained 22 yrs of age in that particular order from Jan to date.
And a warm welcome to ShiYun and Grace who has joined the ranks of the completely legal age of 21 as to date as well.

Okie now to the title of today's post.
Ubin Escape
For those who love the great outdoors and the rural laid back lifestyles of the kampung (as well as the very stressed out), my recommendations "take a nice afternoon cycle at Pulau Ubin with some friends like we did =) ! "
The sights, sounds and smell of laid back kampung life and scenic tropical greens set in an alternate island paradise was both refreshing and relaxing. While the iGallop may give you a nice toosh, I'll bet cycling down ubin's off-road forest trails would be much more satisfying and just as effective (if not better).
And as the saying goes "A picture says a thousand words" I shall leave the remainder of our experience to some pictures that bears witness to our day at ubin.

Hello Hello ...
More updates from busy busy me ... Been MIA from this blog and back and MIA-ing again haha
Heres a little more abt whats been on since october 10th :)
Celebrated sweetie's bday with her this year at sentosa. A nice day by the beach tanning, followed by dinner in town, neoprints (shall upload when I find the time to) and finally watchy :D
The weekend that followed was a hell of a saturday with us rushing from party to party literally. First up by the beach was Hid's make up birthday party (delayed due to the mth of ramadan). Had a great time there meeting up with old friends largely from MFSS. Food was fantastic too !
That was followed by flying over to lix's for his and wen's cosplay themed 21st birthday bash at arandas. Couldn't stay for long due to transportation and time constrains, so sorry buddies =x But hey ! Had a great time too =D Loved the cheese cake and esp those brownies =9 Was nice to see good ol' Limo-driver again to ! (now 3SG Limo-driver with the RSAF)
Well there after weekends seems to be cannabalized by work work work and more work to choke up some additional funds for christmas =x

Long Overdued Update

-Drum Rolls- Ladies and gentlemen ... after much anticipation and the (extremely underrated) long wait ... I present all my latest entry ! Muahaha !

Okie ... that was bad ... but hey can't think of nothing to start this off so bear with me yea ? :P

Rite Rite ... First up this post is dedicated specially to my love michelle and a certain cute (not so lil' anymore) puppy ~ apparently the only 2 people who seems to so want me to update this blog so badly ... so this is for you both :)
For anyone else I might had left out ~ so sorry ... In anycase, here we go ~

I last left off with me returning to service from my LONG LONG hospitalization leave and that open prayer for the very best.
Well ... lets just say the journey since then has left me quite a tale to tell ...
Returning to service very much meant less time to divide between myself, my family, my love, my friends and less say updates (so NOT MY FAULT, blame the govt/army for all I care :P)
In any case, took me nearly 3 mths to settle into CAB, the culture, the place, the people and all ... I had much to complain when I first visited the place and after much in depth analysis ... I found much more to complain abt HA !
Learning to settle into my situation was bad ... accepting that this is how my NS life is gonna be wasn't easy ... but hey we all gotta move on ... Then one day ... Hey ! What ya know posted out !
With hope of a better life and environment I moved over to ADOC GLS ... First day there came with much promises ... including that of a prospective promotion to the rank of sgt. So off I was to my basic storeman course(which I must add made me some new friends and that I passed top of the class) But as life seem to have a cruel sense of humor, 2 mths with GLS proved that the job could get pretty grimey I must say and adding to that we were yet posted out again into DAG BN due to the ceasure of existence to GLS and my chances of promotion -_-"
Oh well and thats life for me ... 2 mths again into my new unit. I'm now a stay-in personnel. Though I must say things seems to had taken a turn for the better with a small promotion and settling in with the people and place. Lets just hope this doesn't turn sour anytime soon =x (or ever for that matter)

Thats that for the update on my NS life thus far.
Anyone more interested in the less mundane (the more interesting) bits of my life ... I suggest you start reading from here. =)
Though when i say reading ... I actually meant viewing coz too lazy to type anymore :P

Recently quite alot of Bday parties and all being attended. (Which also results in me becoming poorer by the mths)

Back To Camp ... Sianz

Well and tml marks the end of my Long Long hospitalization leave ...
I'll be starting my "new" life at CAB w.e.f Tml ...
Not quite sure what exactly will be my new/temp posting as yet ... But I do hope it'll be something done only office hours. This way I'll get to see home more often though the traveling will prove to be a drag but I'd rather that to any stay in job =x
Already feeling the fatigue of travel from today's short visit to the camp.

In the meantime I guess its a good time to look back at my long leave and what I've accomplished. Technically speaking I guess I had learn nothing new or done anything spectacular but hey ... At least I settled into a comfortable 3 day workout per week which I fear is going to be a chore to upkeep in view of my new schedule ... But I guess it is in all fairness that I return to service (in any case it is an unavoidable eventuality)
Right let us PRAY people ! For a better tml and a good work schedule ! Let us give praise to the Lord for being ever merciful ... and Let us bathe in his blessings ... (Ha ... so doesn't sound like me? Guess things change ... But hey ... Rejoice for even I embrace salvation)

Last Sunday's Bean Movie Outing

Too lazy to elaborate on other stuff ... but generally the movie was great ! Loads of laugh and I muz comment on the seats at Lido 1 offered the best view anyone could ask for !

Finally !!! [For Real This Time]

Finally I found a way around all these dumb unable to log into blogger issues -_-"

First was unable to log into sweetie's Blog ...
Next they stopped me from logging into my own Dashboard ...
Then when I finally found a way around those 2 issues ...
The dumb "new post" page won't load !!!! ARGH ...
But that was not the end ... NO ~
They had to put me down again when I finally managed to load it by publishing only the dumb title -_-"
But God has sent this fox another fox to save the day ! Mozilla FireFox Haha (Hope this time it works ...)
