My Grocery Store Reviews.
Safeway,Albertsons,Thriftway,Fred Meyers,Winco and Walmart
(stores that I have shopped at)
Safeway-
I shop at Safeway a lot, not for the prices or products,but because its super close to where I live. Safeway has its few Pros and Many Con's
Pros
1. They have good meat
2. Chinese food
3.Garlic Bread
Con's
1.There prices suck on most items
2. Produce is just okay and super pricey
3.they only have one maybe two check out stands open a day
4.they don't stock there shelves well, I bought out dated butter milk from there before and another time crackers
5.12ish you get the high school kid crowd that sucks
Albertson's
I don't shop at albertsons very often, there is not one in my town. I am not to sure on there pros and Cons I do have a Pro on Albertsons though
Pro
1. THERE DELI CHICKEN IS YUMMY
THRIFTWAY
lol I am laughing yes... We have the local Cutsforth Thriftway hmmm.. where do I begin. Canby's Thriftway has been around many many many years and is owned by Local Canbians (LOL).. There are many Pro's and Cons. The usual shoppers at Thriftway are the old folk of canby that are true supporters of keeping Thriftway open, which is great, nobody wants to see a business that has been around for as long as they have go out of business AND They are supporters of the local farmers.. That said here are my P's and C's
Pro's
1.There produce is out of this world WHEN IN SEASON
2.There meats are great
3. The New Canby Theater is right next door, makes it easy to run to Thriftway and gets snacks and go to the theater
4.has a great coffee shop in there store
5. There New deli is great
6. This one is for you Trish cause you are right about there customer service :) THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS OUTSTANDING!
CONS
1. THERE PRICES ARE CRAZY EXPENSIVE CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY
2.When there produce is not in season it is GROSS
FRED MEYERS
We have a Freddy's in Canby, which I must say is super nice :) Its nice to be able to run over there and get grocery's and clothing items all in stop.There customer service is a whole nother story, u will just have to read my con's..
PRO'S
1. Super store, grocery shop and clothing shop etc... in one stop
2. Fred's coupons are great,more for the buck
3.produce is great
4. When there taking out the old stock like clothing you can get some killer deals (60-75% off)
CONS
1. Meat is alright, I don't really buy much meat there
2.There clothes are expensive (when there not on sale)
3.always super crowded
4.Toiletries are a little over priced
5. the kids that they higher are usually hungover and talk to customers about how hungover they are
6.I Was in there one time in the purse section and one of the employees was complaining about what pigs customers are and she was not being hush hush about it either
WINCO
I don't get out to Winco foods as much, Josh always encourages me to shop there,its REALLY not convenient for me, its like a half hour drive.
P's and C's
PROS
1.You get more for your buck
and that's all the P's I have for Winco
CON'S
1.over over crowded, I am sure if the fire Marshall was there that they would be way over there people limit
2.I am being bratty and spoiled when I write this but I HATE TO BAG MY OWN GROCERIES,
3.There products are not that great. Do you ever wonder where all the groceries go when they are about to expire at the other stores, I am sure they get sent to Winco,lol!
WALMART-
Oh my gosh dooo I looovvvee mmmeeee some Walmart. It is also a one stop shop.Its only like a fifteen minute drive for me,not to bad. I do get in to some big time trouble from the man (hubby) when I go to walmart,lol!
P's And C's
Pros
1. One stop shop
2. I do like there Great Value brand (chips, frozen entrees,bread, Toiletries etc..)
3.Prices are great
C's
1. There meat is okay but you have to be there right as they put it out or you are left with bare shelves.Nobody wants to eat bare shelves for dinner :)
2.Produce is Gross
3. sooo sooo sooo crowded, where the heck is that Fire Marshall :)
4. check out lines are insane
5. adult clothing does not have a life span on it or a waist span (umm something like that ha ha)
Well as you can tell I am super bored today :)

chit chat,really just randomness
Nothing much has been going on in the Lee house, things have been mellow. Christmas was great, kids got spoiled, me and Josh got spoiled :) New years eve was a blast!
RANDOMNESS
Over the years I have purchased some CRAPPY CRAPPY products, I am going to share with you what they are, so you will learn from my mistake,OR you may argue with me over it?!?!!?!
1.WESTERN FAMILY DISH SOAP (DOES NOT DISSOLVE IN THE DISHWASHER)
2.RUG DOCTOR PRE-TREATMENT CARPET SPRAY (DOES NOT WORK ON NO STAIN)
3.WRIGGLY APPLE GUM (I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY MANY PEOPLE THAT MY BREATH SMELLed LIKE MARIJUANA WHILE CHEWING THE GUM)
4.DOLLAR STORE BATTERIES (NEED I SAY MORE,LOL)
5.CHEAP LIQUOR (TASTES LIKE CLEANING PRODUCTS,i don't know what cleaning products taste like but i am sure its the same)
THINGS I DO LIKE FOR PRODUCTS-
1.CLOROX COUNTER WIPES (EASY TO USE AND CLEANS WELL)
2.NAIL POLISH REMOVER (NOT ONLY GOOD TO GET NAIL POLISH OFF, BUT MARKINGS ON THE WALL,BUT BE CARE FULL WITH IT, IT DOES TAKE OFF PAINT ALSO)
3.PONDS FACE LOTION (THE BEST BEST BEST FOR ALL SKIN TYPES)
4.MAINSTAYS CANDLES(WALMART BRAND, THEY LEAVE THE YUMMIEST SMELL IN MY HOME, THE BEST AND CHEAP)
5.COSTCO GRAPES(I DON'T KNOW THERE JUST GOOD,LOL)
SARAH THIS ONE IS FOR YOU-
MY NEW MOON REVIEW
It was ok, although New moon was not one of my favorite books in the saga.
1. I like the blue tones better in Twilight vs. the gold tones in New Moon (i thought it made the vamps look really pasty and strange)
2.The yellow porsche scene and the airplane looked so fake and cheaply done
3.edwards acting seemed so much different in New Moon than Twilight
The thing I did like-
1.The Warewolf's It couldnt have gotten any better, they did an awesome job.
Overall the movie was just okay, I am super eager to see Eclipse in June!
