PLEASE SUPPORT!!!!!!

The Green Generation Concert is organized by Jane Goodall Institute with the assistance of a team of NIE student teachers. (my frens are involved!)
5th June, the date chosen for the concert, is also World Environment Day, a day sanctioned by the UN to kindle interest and awareness of environmental issues.
The organizing committee of JGIS EYE on Asia Conference is committed to minimizing the environmental impact of the event by practicing the 4R 2Cs. (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rethink, Composting and Closing the Loop).
We aim to:
- Reduce the amount of solid waste produced by reducing consumption, reusing resources and composting our food waste;
- Reduce our energy, water and carbon footprint;
- Recycle waste materials;
- Close the loop by buying and using recycled products whenever possible; and
- Educate by making our initiatives known and encouraging all participants adopt these environmentally friendly practices during the event and in daily life.
In short, you can do your part for the environment even as we gather on the 5th of June at Singapore Botanic Gardens by:
- Bringing your own reusable water bottle.
- Travel by bus, by coach, or if by car, why not car pool?
- Don’t litter the grounds; do walk to find the nearest litter bin and toss your litter there.
