Plaid Party Dress

I love how the skirt is on the diagonal. The wrapped top was supposed to be too, but the pattern wasn't correct. I still think it turned out cute though!

Twirly Tunic Top

These tunic tops are two separate pieces, so they can also be worn separately.

Pear Sweater

Katie, my craft boss, gave me the pattern for this sweater after I found out I was expecting. I knitted most of it while I was pregnant, but I had a few things to finish. (Mostly just putting it all together, which is the tedious part.)

I finished it this afternoon. Alex wasn't very cooperative after his nap today, so I hope to do a better photoshoot soon. Plus there's a matching hat!

I first planned these when I found this gorgeous Asian fabric.

Matching Shower Curtain

Guest Room Quilt

I bought the fabric to make a quilt for the guest bedroom THREE years ago. I made curtains but that was it. After making a quilt for the basement, I was ready to tackle this one.
I made it as a lap size to put at the end of the bed, and I also made two matching pillows.

Little House in Alabama

I just finished the second Prairie-style dress. I'm not at home, so I don't have Katie with me to model it. (My niece named my doll Katie. I promise I'm not all Single White Female.)

This is fabric I got at Jo-Ann's. I love it because the scale of the print is perfect for the doll. This dress reminds me of one my Grandma Haney (the original crazy doll lady) would love.

Beach Towels

It couldn't have been easier to make some matching beach towels for the swimsuits. I bought a hand towel from Target and ironed on an appliqué that I got from Jo-Ann's. I also found some ribbon with flip-flops on it that would have been cute too.

Surf's Up!

Our power is out. I did manage to finish these two swimsuits earlier though. They should be simple to make but I managed to mess up three of them.

I couldn't find any swimsuit material I liked, so I went to the Wal-Marts and bought an actual girls' bathing suit and cut it up. The genius of that is that it's then easy to have matching girl/doll swimsuits.
