Thanks Bumpa

Daniel's Grandpa was a veteran.  For Veteran's day Conner and I went with Nana to visit his grave and pay our respects.  Thanks Bumpa for your example and love.  Thank you for your sacrifice.

Conner even helped to spray the headstone.

Fun with Grandma & Grandpa Brown

Grandma and Grandpa stayed with us for a day after Hunter's blessing.  Grandma brought Conner some little farm animals, and they had a blast playing with them.

We went on a walk to the park.
Grandpa acted like he was sleeping at the bottom of the slide (let's be honest, he probably was), and Conner slid down and got him.

Grandma and Grandpa were champs and all took turns going down the slides.
Conner leading his groupies.  He likes telling people what to do.  Right now I think it is cute.  That will probably not always be the case.  :-)

Hunter really was around for all of these activities.  He was just asleep in the stroller.  One day I will remember to document his participation.
It was hard to say goodbye to Grandma and Grandpa- but super fun to have them here!  It has been weird for me to be so far away.  We are so glad that they were able to come and visit.

Hunter's Blessing

I have never been very good at being on time.  Sunday mornings are always a little rough (and we start at 11!!).  But this was an especially difficult morning.  We had my parents in town - fun!- so I was distracted, we were blessing Hunter, and we spoke in church.  Talk about crazy morning!

Luckily Grandma and Grandpa were there to get Conner to church on time.

It was also my mother's birthday.  So I got to make my first German chocolate cake -yum!  I cannot take all of the credit.  Lori made the frosting, and it was fantastic.
Natasha & her family came for the blessing.  We were glad to see them again!  Before we both moved to California, we usually only saw them once a year.  It has been great to be able to spend more time with their family.  Conner and Rylea.

It was a fun, crazy day.  Thanks everyone for your love and support!

Around the House

I have been pretty horrible at documenting Hunter's life.  I need to take more pictures.  He is growing so fast - and he is stinkin' cute!

Dad reading Conner bedtime stories.  My mom brought him this book when Hunter was born.  It has a bunch of popular nursery rhymes. We read it every day for weeks - then I decided we needed a break and hid it.  :-)  It might make an appearance again soon.
Hunter in the bath.  Yup.  He is a supper cute content kid!  He does smile sometimes, but mostly he has this content look.

Beach with Cousins

My parents came to visit from Idaho for my nephew Braedon's Baptism and Hunter's blessing.  We went to Palos Verdes for Breadon's Baptism on Saturday morning, then went to the beach for the afternoon.

Grandpa and Conner hung out in the shallow waters.

Conner helped Grandma build a sand castle.

Grandpa found a sand crab for Conner.  I don't think he understood that it was a living creature.

Conner helped grandpa dig for sand crabs.  Again, not really understanding what the purpose was, but enjoying getting dirty.
He then joined his cousins in climbing and sliding down the sand.

 Conner and his groupies.
 One dirty boy!

Luckily Grandpa was there to help wash him off.

Hunter was an angel child and slept in the car seat in a wagon the whole time we were there.  :-)
