I love you

Esta página, aunque no sea muy apropiada para un hombre, está dedicada a mi chico...me puse con flores por aquí y por allá y al final quedó lo que veis aquí abajo.

This layout is dedicated to my boyfriendm but it's the less masculine page you can imagine...I started to put flowers here and there and well, you can see the result below. TFL!

Los papeles son de Glitz Design (Laced With Grace), Kaiser Craft (Sweet Nothings) y Marianne Designs. Las flores son de Wild Orchid Crafts y las perlas de ZVA.

Utilicé la silhouette cameo para hacer las bisagras, con la técnica del falso chipboard. Después las embosé con dos tonos de polvos y las envjecí un poco. Los brads son de Dovecraft.

I used my silhouette cameo to cut the hinges (with the faux chipboard technique). The I embossed them with two tones of embossing powder and inked them. Brads are from Dovecraft.

Estoy tan contenta!! me he mirado y remirado la guia cientos de veces, no puedo esperar más. Tantas cosas por ver, Central Park, el Empire State, La Estatua de la Libertad...estoy impaciente! En cuanto vuelva os aburrireis de ver trabajos con fotos de NY jajajaja. Hasta la vuelta!

A wonderful life

Este página es para la madre de mi chico. A ella le gusta el estilo shabby, así que traté de darle ese aire a la página. Espero que le guste! Usé la paleta 101 de The Color Room

I made this layout for my mother-in-law. She likes shabby chic style, so I tried to give that look to my page. I hope she'll like it! Iused The Color Room's 101 palette.

Los papeles son de Prima (Romantique) y Glitz Design (Beautiful Dreamer). Con el papel de fondo hice un envejecido con agua. El marco lo corté con la silhouette cameo, combinando dos formas (un circulo y un arabesco). El pájaro es un chipboard de Basic Grey.

Papers are from Prima (Romantique) and Glitz Design (Beautiful Dreamer). I did some water distressing on the background. The frame was cut with my silhouette cameo, combining two shapes (a circle and a swirl). The bird a Basic Grey's chipboard.

Las flores son de Wild Orchid Crafts. Hice un mist casero (con rellenadores dusty concord y brushed corduroy) para teñir algunas de morado.

Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I used a homemade mist (with dusty concord and brushed corduroy distress refills) to make the purple ones.

Usé la silhouette cameo para recortar la lámpara y la frase, y luego usé mi mist casero para darles ese tono morado. Para las perlas de la araña usé un Viva Decor Pearl Pen, y para las llamas de las velas stickles dorado.

I used my silhouette cameo to cut the title and the chandelier, and sprayed them with my homemade  mist. I used a Viva Decor Pearl Pen to make the pearls on the chandelier, and gold stickles for the candle flames.

Las mariposas venían con un kit, están hechas a mano y las podeis encontrar aquí

Aquí recorté algunos papeles de Webster's Pages. La pegatina "remember when" es de Glitz Design, la bicicleta antigua es un rubon de Kaiser Craft (Sweet Nothings). La cerradura es de Melissa Frances y la partitura es un chipboard de Dusty Attic pintado con dabber blanca.

I did some fussy cutting on Webster's Pages papers. The "remember when" sticker is from Glitz Design. The antique bycicle is a Kaiser Craft rubon, and the keyhole is a Melissa Frances resin embellishmen. The partiture is a Dusty Attic chipboard painted with a dabber (snow cap).

Layout "You make the world go round"

Hace poco celebramos el cumpleaños de Maria, ¿y qué mejor forma de hacerlo que scrapeando juntas? Decidimos hacer un layout, utilizando una misma colección de papeles: la colección This & That, de Echo Park (preciosísimos) y un mismo sketch. La verdad es que fue divertídisimo, y lo mejor fue ver cómo con el mismo material los layouts son tan diferentes. Aquí podeis ver los de todas las chicas

A few days ago we had a party to celebrate Maria's birthday, and we thought that it would be great to have a crop. We decided to make a layout using the same papers: This & That collection, from Echo Park (they're awesome!!!) and the same sketch. It was so fun!! and the best part was seeing how different were the layouts even with the same pp and sketch. Here you can see them.

Algunas cosillas están recortadas con la cameo (el reloj, la farola...) pero casi todo está recortado de los papeles, tienen mil detallitos para recortar! Los engranajes son de Tim Holtz. La flor está hecha con un troquel de Paula (Easy Rosettes, de The Cat’s Pajama).

A few embellies were cut with the silhouette cameo, but most of them were cut out from the papers, there are so many lovely details! perfect for fussy cutting. The gears are from Tim Holtz. Flower was made with a die (Easy Rosettes, from The Cat’s Pajama) that belongs to Paula.

Y ahora algunas malas noticias: como seguramente sepais ya, han deshabilitado el Google Friend Connect para sitios que no sean de blogger (como el mío ¬¬). Así que ya no podeis seguir las actualizaciones de mi blog a través del GFC, que viene siendo lo que usábamos casi todos. He encontrado algunas alternativas como Mr. Linky así que si quereis seguir las actualizaciones podeis daros de alta en Mr. Linky, usar el feed y o suscribiros por e-mail. Gracias!
