Well, as if life couldn't be any more busy! But we talked it over and felt it was something we could handle. Stanley was asked to be the new District Chairman for the Superstition District BSA. Here he is in his new uniform for this position! I just love a man in a uniform! He's had several meetings and he is learning so many things he didn't know before. He's got a great team in place to help him too.

Superstition Mountains
We went out one rainy day and got up close and personal with the mountain. You don't realize how many different area's there are from far away. Such a beautiful mountain! Loved the clouds and misty conditions.
Love our Super's!
This is in the parking lot of the museum. Did you know they have a museum? One of these days we'll go back and take a look!
Realized the power lines were in the way, so went across the street!

Grandbaby 14
With all the stuff going on I got sidetracked from posting about our newest grandbaby until now!
Sweet little Kyler was born a few days after the 27 week mark. He's doing remarkable for a little premature baby. He weighed 2 lbs 10 oz and is 15 inches long. Emmalee had been on bed rest since 22 weeks when they found she was already dialating. They put her in the hospital at 23 or 24 weeks and she was hoping to make it to 32 weeks. Burton almost didn't stay the night that night, luckily he did. She started bleeding around 2 or 3 in the morning and they did a c-section and he was born at 4:30. They did a c-section because they didn't want him to go through the trauma and they wanted him born quick. We're glad he's here safe and sound. He keeps surprising the dr. and nurses cuz statistics were not in his favor but he's proved them wrong. He's a sweet little boy and his parents can't wait to bring him home!
They wheeled her up to the baby so she could see him as soon as they could.
This gives you an idea of how big or tiny he is!
He's got his father's long fingers! And his sucking on a little tiny pacifier!
Santa came to visit the babies in the NICU. They had a photographer there too and they asked if they could post it on their facebook page and she said yes. They had over 80 comments and lot's of people shared it, or posted it to their page. This picture even made it into the paper! We have a little celebrity! He's wearing a little hat his aunty em crocheted for him! It was tiny, but he's even tinier!
Even though he's so tiny, and should still be in the womb, there are still those instincts. He didn't like that contraption on his head and would always try and move it!
Not too happy being untangled and unhooked from some of the stuff so they can have some bonding time.
I think they call this kangarooing. It's skin to skin and is suppose to help him bond to his momma. This is the first time she has been able to hold him. 10-11 days is a long time to wait!
He's off the cpap (that head contraption) and is so much more calm and relaxed without it.
We finally had a chance to go see him. I had a head cold when he was born, so I had to wait til I wasn't coughing and free of it. It was a long wait!
So tiny! So precious! So blessed! Sure is a different experience having a preemi baby. Thanks to everyone for your prayers and well wishes and thoughts. It has helped and continues to help!
We all love Kyler!
