This is how JT and Natalie introduced themselves as Ma & Pa Lawlor at our pioneer trek kick-off meeting. All the Ma's and Pa's prepared a little skit to present to all the kids, parents and leaders. It was really cute! They did a great job!

This was during one of our warm spells! Today is not a warm spell! It's 40 degrees and windy! I know it's not like where Ellee and Emmee live right now! It was 11 degrees when I talked to them this morning! But it's cold!!!!! I went to the store and could not believe all the people out and about! My goodness! I know better then to go out after 9 am! Ca-raaa-zzzyyy! Oh and last night there was a terrible accident on the main street behind Squires. A poor woman slammed into a flat bed tow truck and was nearly decapitated! She drove a silver PT cruiser and was older and heavy set and we had to call Sis. Snider to make sure it wasn't her! I was so glad to hear her voice! One news organization said it was a man. Another said she was still alive but died in the attempt to get her out. The car was mangled and the truck bed was all the way to the passenger door! Anyway! Love the warm spells, don't like the cold spells. Our poor plum tree is in full bloom. I need to get a picture of it! It's very pretty, but confused! The weather is doing crazy things - a big typhoon in Australia, storm after storm in the midwest and east, flooding and rain on the west coast. Crazy!
